“Had a great time here! Unfortunately I did have to wait for the rest of the people booked for my same time slot to show up... So I waited like 25+ mins. I get it because it makes sense for the dishes to be served in sequence rather than skipping around but at that point I wish they would've just moved their time if it was possible to the next slot 😅 at least chef started prepping fish while we waited but it was agonizing to watch while I was hungry. Overall the service was very polite and they were quick to clear away plates and between courses and refill my water.

Chef Eric was great and made sure we knew what each piece was (altho I agree with others that with the music that wasnt tooooo loud it was still a little hard for me to hear him sometimes). I think they might overdo some of the showy additions and flavors when the fish quality should show for itself, but maybe it's just geared that way so people feel like they got their money's worth. Foie gras on like two of the pieces just felt like an odd add on, I liked it but I don't think it goes together with eel that well personally and I can't remember the other piece that had it. The gold dust on one of the pieces was a little silly since it doesn't have any flavor, but it does make for a neat video. The bar lighting is def set up for photos. They torch a decent amount of the fish and sauce it. I do think this is still a good omakase deal and was appropriately balanced between an intimate experience and entertaining. I imagine if the bar was full of people though that it might feel too crowded, it was only four of us total for the time slot I was in and I had come alone.

They do some fun stuff for people's birthdays, the guys next to me got a special second hand roll from our chef and singing and they even set off a little popper. I thought the pacing was good once we got started and it went by pretty quickly, I think the experience ended up being about an hour in the end but we were a small ish group for the timeslot. It seems like they do two chefs per bar with staggered seatings? And there's the upstairs in addition to the downstairs.

I'd probably come again, as a treat. Ive only been to one other sushi omakase in the city (it was cheaper and I ended up leaving hungry, it has since shut down), otherwise my other experience was in Japan proper. I was comfortably full at the end of this but I am a fairly small woman with not a hugeee appetite so keep that in mind. They don't do any upsell at the end of the meal if you want more pieces, but they do say you can chill out and finish your BYOB drinks it seems. If I was hungry afterwards I'd get ice cream down the street after or something haha.“

“I had been eyeing on this mari mari restaurant awhile, finally had a time to try them out omg the inari was so good, the tonkotsu ramen was delicious but I maybe I’m alittle confused about small portions protein of the meat but the dishes was good and satisfying might go here with a friends next time ☺️“

I was waiting for a train and needed something to settle my stomach, I had the Tonkatsu ramen to my surprise was reasonably priced for 14$ had a soda and the staff/owners just kept giving me free complimentary food!

They gave me a cheesesteak Bao Bun and Scallion pancake!

This little gem reminds me of a small ramen shop salarymen would frequent after a hard day of work in Japan before the last train back home.

It’s a must visit and a staple shop in the suburban station and deserves praise!“

The place is small and intimate, and the staff are very attentive. For example, I spilled my soy sauce bowl on the table and I hadn’t even picked up the napkin to clean it up when the staff had already placed more napkins on the table.“

“My son and I just moved to the area about a month ago, and we stumbled upon FUKI — it’s quickly become our new favorite spot! My son loves ramen, and they always make it plain just the way he likes it. I usually get the salmon teriyaki, which is served beautifully seared with teriyaki sauce over onions and peppers, alongside rice — absolutely delicious. We’ve also tried the crab fried rice, and everything has been fresh, hot, and flavorful every time.

The service is quick, the staff are friendly, and the restaurant is extremely clean. We always enjoy our visits and truly wish them the best of luck. Highly recommend!“

“Just moved to the area, this was our first time here. The sushi was good and crab rangoons were so crispy! It’s been a while since I’ve had good crab rangoons anywhere in Philly. All the dishes we saw served, along with our own, were colorful and creatively decorated. Our service was fast and all the staff were attentive and kind. She had an authentic, respectful, and courteous nature as is the custom in her culture and definitely added to the overall atmosphere and authenticity of Takumi. “My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“Favorite sushi place! We came from out of state because we love this restaurant so much. We've come many times, usually dine-in but also once to go. The sushi is very fresh and tasty, and reasonably priced. We especially enjoy the sweetheart roll, Godzilla roll, rose roll, and new rainbow roll! Pleasant staff and lovely atmosphere, as well. Can't recommend enough!

“The variety of food and service at Poke It Up was very good. Honestly wish I'd tried it sooner! There are different varieties of poke bowls to select from or you can make your own. The fish was very fresh and came with a healthy portion of rice. The veggies and sauce complimented the meal and the serving size (for me) was quite large so easily came for two meals. “It was my first time eating at Osaka Hibachi and I was very pleased with both the meal and service.
I ordered the chicken and salmon hibachi and both meats were tender.
The vegetables were cooked perfectly.
The rice was also cooked well.

We have been ordering delivery once a week since the quarantine (min order of $25 to qualify). They are offering credit card payment over the phone, and the delivery man safely passed off our order from a distance while wearing gloves. Support local businesses like Yuki Sushi right now if you're able to!“

“My first time ordering here and the food was fresh and delicious ! The gyoza were crispy , but not greasy and the filling tasted like chicken and onions . The dipping sauce was far too salty ( but it could be because I’m used to low sodium ‘ not sure ) . I will definitely be ordering again - this may just be my new favorite spot :D“

“FRESH sushi poke bowls and ramen dishes on a limited menu are fabulous. The quality of the sushi is exceptional, as are the portions. The service is wonderful and accommodating. Located in Whole Foods on the perimeter between the exterior walls and check-out registers, this is a wonderful option and addition to an already top notch source of quality food!
