We were not disappointed. $19 for a piece of fish that was bigger than the plate, and it was not just breading with a tiny sliver of fish inside, plus a salad, plus bread & butter, plus your choice of potato. I couldn't eat it all! It was all served hot and freshly cooked with homemade ranch dressing and homemade tartar sauce.“

“To finish up a very quick trip to Pittsburgh, I was looking for a diner to eat. The minute you walk in, people are smiling and happy. The locals are there talking with each other and it’s relaxing and refreshing. I had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and yellow waxed beans. As I told my phenomenal waitress, Bri, It was exactly as my mother would have made it. I have missed her cooking since she passed away and this meal took me back to a beautiful time and place. I will definitely come back here when I’m in the Pittsburgh area. The portion was right, the food was fresh and delicious, and Bri was very attentive.“

Sauce, leek soup, pasta, pizza, etc. One problem : kitchen closes early, at 9... we finished eating in time, then server got annoyed with us when all we wanted was another beer. Told us bar was closed also. Other times I've been there I was told to continue to order beer even after kitchen closed. Very uncomfortable. Only 9:00.“

“My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

“Very Nice place! Atmosphere was friendly and inviting with Great service! The food was Excellent and delivered quickly and piping hot. Everything our party of four ordered was delicious! The burger was juicy and grilled to perfection. The loaded fries had a remarkable homemade cheese sauce and fresh cooked bacon. The boneless chicken chunks were very fresh with mouth watering sauces of honey barbecue and Tai Sweet Chili. My husband said the Cajun Chicken Mac was the best he has ever had. We live in Ohio and found Nox's on the "googler" after visiting the training camp. We will surely be stopping here everytime we come to town!“

“Very nice resteraunt to get a snack and drinks. The prices were reasonable and there are plenty of seats to eat or take with you. The food was hot and fresh. No problems with the food, the service was good. There were several schools there, so kinda hectic, but other than that, it was very good, and it's right when you enter the zoo.

My order arrived exactly as I ordered it and they didn't miss any of the sides. They have a huge selection of desserts and I got the sweet potato pie, it tastes like my 95 yr old grandma from Tennessee made it! Get the homemade healthy green tea drink, you won't be disappointed! “the facilities are great, museum carriage House gift Center conservatory Clayton tours. don't waste your time at the cafe. did not feel welcome there too many policies that are inhospitable. policies that are not welcoming. also the manager is rude and Ben's the policy rules for certain people in certain groups. also don't believe the menu they post I thought the menu you'll get when you go in. it's a little overpriced for what's offered. the food is fairly average nothing outstanding it can't be made in your kitchen. plan to go to the property do the tours and museum and then you'll find better restaurants more hospitable off property in the area.“

The server was attentive and friendly but the service was a bit slow and drink refill didn't happen until we were done eating. The prices were about the average for finer dining. We asked to sit outside since it was a very nice night for it, but we were seated at the end very near the main road and the traffic rushing past was very noisy, as well as a passing train across the street. I would return, but maybe sitting indoors would be the best option next time (although some reviews complain about the indoor noise level too!).“
