“Was there this past Friday and wish I could have stayed longer ! But...... , 1 beer ang go ! Anyhoo I had stopped for their Turtle soup ! ! And it was fantastic ! Good people all the way around ! Laughed , met great people and the bartender and 1 of the cooks I met we're 100% good people !Highly recommend stopping in for anything ! Been going there for years and it always a good time !“

“My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here since it is where we had a our first date. They were so accommodating and even helped us to move locations last minute due to weather. The drinks were delicious, as always, and the staff was so kind.“

“Home away from home...From out of town? Miss the old neighborhood? Like Blues and R@B? You've found it...at the R BAR... 5 mins. from downtown(avoid rush hour) The owner is a semi-retired musician..and his wife besides being a "Hottie" LOL..Is the salt of the earth...If you make it there on Sundays..You'll find one of the best"Bloody Mary's" around...and a 6 piece band called "The Midnight Horns" who all lead their own bands doing the week,but come together at the R BAR to roar..(Jazz,R@B,Blues)..I must also mention 2 of the best bartenders around..Toni and Billy.will treat you like family...So why not give the R BAR 5 stars? Only because of it's size,and no food..however a Pizza parlor opened next door with a wide variety of treats...good enough to feed those Boilermakers..from the R BAR...“

“Randy was our first class bartender and was knowledgeable polite &friendly PGH tortas was the food truck for the new fangs beer release and they provided a five star taco experience - duck carnitas, rabbit tinga, gator po boy, nopales and beef tongue. All juicy choices featuring the perfect combo of acid, fat& sweet heat.
The beers featured the marzen - best Oktoberfest of the year. We went home with some coffee porter &the scent of the head alone was transformative.
The owners and brew masters work hard and it shows in the quality. We will absolutely return. Thanks 4pts!“
“Good Food, Awesome Staff, the amount of pictures of the owner was a touch I found odd, and something called "CumbBurger" had me laughing.Extra star given to offset Karen's one star because she brought in a party of 8 when they were already busy.This place is small, I would never try to bring more than 6 people at once, even then you would need 2 tables.Cumb, you seem like a fun guy, maybe even fun enough to bring in more business by just being there to talk to, but it kind of felt like a museum dedicated to your accomplishments.Keep living life to the max, I'd definitely come back.“

“I go the visit this boom ? bar and grill EVERYTIME I am in Pittsburgh.Great food, drinks are amazing, free pool, and darts. They have a music box to play your own music if you like.Saturday night live Dj.Bingo as well on some night. Smoking out doors.FAST SERVICE FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE.I feel like you’re always greeted with a smile. They have zero tolerance for ignorance will throw you out of your acting up. They also make you feel safe because they check everyone at the door. NOTHING IS ALLOWED INSIDE ..So you FREE SAFE AND FREE TO ENJOY YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES.. “We visited during a Steelers game and were welcomed with friendliness and the feel of family. The drinks are generous. The food is readily available. Great place to host a party or family gathering. Cash only. Well, at least you know you're not leaving with an open tab. Great energy!

“I went in there the other day about 3 weeks ago got some chicken tenders tossed in some garlic parmesan hot and order of fries fries are delicious get a big order people there are so friendly even though I'm a Cowboys fan lol.. I will definitely be back“

“Allegedly the tenny has a reputation, but as of my second visit I am beyond happy I had a great time. Alaska and reign/rain were amazing. My first visit was 12/11/24 and I got to see Vegas, Minnie, Alaska, and another girl whose name I did not catch (whom was my favorite) they all gave me a great time! Next time I’m in pa I will be back!“

“The soups are amazing. Tonight is one of my favorites Swedish meatball her wedding soup is amazing tortilla soup and crab bisque also. Omgoodness they are all amazing. We love Italian day. The sauce is perfect and their ranch is homemade delicious on their side salad that they put a generous amount of cheese on. My hubby loves it. Pictures to come after this evenings dinner“
“Albert's is one of the few places with karaoke in Dormont (first Friday night of the month). That being said, the room they do it in is small. Very packed, only one door, and it gets very loud, quick. Wish they'd have it in the larger area. Karaoke night tends to peak fast and clear out even faster, right around midnight, which is strange. Clientele can be suspect“

“This place has the best drink called "jungle juice" for $3.00. It is fruity and the perfect adult beverage while visiting Mckees Rocks area. The bartenders are friendly and personable but sometimes theres a shortage in staff for the high demandofcjstomers towards the end of the night.“
