“A few weeks ago I tried one of their beers in a bar on my hometown and loved it. I just had to check their actual location. The spot is lovely, wide open, with sitting areas both I side and out, a nice food selection and most importantly-some phenomenal beers. I ended up trying a few, and even taking some canned ones home with me. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, everyone is in a great mood and I will definitely come back. A note: it’s a bit tricky to find, but it’s worth it!“

“We eat breakfast there every other Saturday morning. The food is good for the most part. The place does need to be cleaned. Our server, Chelsea, is phenomenal!! She goes above and beyond the majority of servers. She is very attentive to your needs. She keeps your drinks filled and plates cleared. I have been there when it was extremely busy and she hustles for her customers. To be honest, if she wasn't there we probably would not have made it a regular stop every other Saturday. Chelsea is second to none and I hope that Denny's realizes what an asset they have. Because of her and give them four stars“

I’m completely over all of the National chain restaurants on the pike that are over crowded and not well managed. When you walk into Freshido Mechanicsburg it is quiet with pleasant music playing. My food was delicious and the service was prompt but relaxed. I didn’t feel rushed at all. The menu variety is good and I can’t wait to try more dishes.“

“First visit! The place is simple but comfortable and it's clean so it's a good eat in location. Staff are minimal but always busy. Weird not used to working the computer system but it is relatively easy once you read and touch! You can order through their staff also. My wife ordered the Orange Chicken Sweet & spicy, broccoli. I ordered the Black Beans with Chicken Broccoli, onion, black bean, carrot. The Orange Chicken had a great sweet orange taste and a spicy hot kick to it. The Black Beans with chicken was perfect sauce with delicate flavoring the chicken was very tender and the broccoli onion and carrots were perfectly cooked al Dente! Portion sizes are good and a plate is more than filling especially with rice. This place came recommended by a couple of people. I will be hoping them in recommending it also“

“I feel it the best diner on the pike. Used to go to the other diner down the road but food was subpar. Hampden diner has great food, good portions, priced right and the entire staff is always very friendly. Will definitely continue to go here.“

“Stopped by on a whim and it could not have turned out any better. The food was fresh, flavorful and great portions at a great price. Got a burger that was cooked perfectly med-rare and very hot and cripsy fries. Service was excellent and the waitress was friendly and blunt in a good way if you asked any questions, she always made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask and always checked in on us as she passed. Went with two others one had a gyro and the other a burger.“

“My wife and I truly enjoy the Barn...typically visiting for brunch and their live musical acts about once every 6 weeks. And although no music this time, we again enjoyed the dining, ambiance and service. Ethan, our server, was attentive without being too attentive, and took our drink orders and food orders with a friendly smile. My wife tried the vegetable quiche and was very happy. I did my usual, the Eggs Benedict... but being vegetarian, the kitchen accommodated me by swapping in mushrooms and spinach for the normal Canadian bacon. And once again, did a delicious and wonderful job. It was delicious. So an excellent experience, and highly suggested!“
