“I stopped at this DD for a cup of coffee, and everything was as it should be for a DD stop. My only concern with this DD is that it is in a gas station and the signage is small. I missed it unaware that it is not a stand-alone DD. I tried to believe my wazes and found it.

Parking: You have to pull into a gas station and find parking.“

“Placed a door dash order. When it came, my happy meal was missing. I called the store and they openly admitted they had forgotten it which I appreciated but I then had to drive to the store to pick up my missing items. Upon arrival everyone was very kind and friendly. They handed me my order but again, forgot the drink. The staff apologized. Always room for improvement but id say they did a great job in correcting the mistake.“

Ended up going home with a bag of honey processed beans and a persistent hankering for another visit. My visit was brief because I had a schedule to stay on, but I could easily see myself spending multiple hours here. Community vibes come naturally to this place.“

“I have a subscription to their coffee roastery - I recieve a 5lb bag of Espresso Roast beans every 8 weeks to use in my at home espresso machine. Their beans have ruined all other coffee for myself and my wife - we can ONLY drink Backyard Beans coffee. It is the best coffee we have ever tasted. The worst part is - we live in Alabama so we can only ever order it for delivery!“

“Had the Spring Fling coffee today, IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Never have I had coffee like this. It was robust but mild, with hints of lavender, thyme and pink peppercorns. Absolutely a must have for those that go regularly. I live in NJ so sadly I won’t be here often and I’m sad about that.“

“As a hermit myself, Eremita is the most inviting coffee shop in the area. Yeah sure you could go to Dunkin or Starbucks also on Ridge Ave , but neither of those stores are anything like Eremita. When you walk into the cutest coffee shop in town you’ll fall in love with its eclectic charm instantly. You can immediately tell that this place was built with love and care. They have art on the walls you can buy and other cool events like open mic nights and crafting. While they don’t have sandwiches or big meals, the pastries are to die for, especially the savory puff pastries. There are probably a dozen or so small coffee shops around, but Eremita will also be my go to.“
