“For all those who write negative reviews about this place, try getting food from the Plank Road location sometime.. this location, in my experience, is probably the best location you can get McDonald's in a 5-mile radius. Sometimes the food won't look picture perfect. It's McDonald's, not a gourmet restaurant. But I have had no problems with this location. The order is always right, the food tastes decent, and despite me ordering delivery from this location, I've heard many good things about this location, such as friendly customer service compared to the Plank Road and Downtown Altoona locations, cleanliness is on point, as well as many other things. So yeah, if you want McDonald's without having to worry about all the chaos from the other 2 locations, come to this location for a pleasant experience :)“

“I Googled coffee shops in Altoona and this one caught my eye! I stopped today for the first time.......and I was not disappointed. Wasn't sure what to order.......the lady waiting on me showed me the featured drinks. I went with the White Chocolate Mocha with Blueberry Cold Foam.......probably one of the most delicious coffees ever!!!! Hopefully next visit I can stay a little longer and grab some breakfast too!“

“This place has some really unique options, which I love. I enjoyed my coffee there, however felt like it should have come with a warning due to the hours long very strong caffeine buzz I had after gulping down my mocha with whipped cream and caramel drizzle (seriously delicious!). My heart was pounding out of my chest until I fell fast asleep from overstimulation. There are times this would be a desirable effect for me.. since I don't do cocaine lol.. it just caught me off guard.

“Sometimes when I need a break from the home office I come here. I’m a fan of the Starbucks ambiance, and with it being quiet it’s a great place to work for a bit. The little food items aren’t bad, and neither are the drinks. I’ve rarely had a bad encounter with the staff. All in all a good experience.“

“Born and raised in Altoona, PA. and I know some of the Sheetz family. A Grandfather owned a dairy and several times on Christmas Eve, he brought us goodies (in the 50’s). The Sheetz “clan” is a wonderful family. I had the pleasure of shopping in the first 2 Sheetz “Kwik Shoppers” in Altoona. I know several high school class mates who have retired from Sheetz and enjoyed their time working there. Now, we just got the first Sheetz relatively close by in Michigan. Been there twice so far. In sum, the Sheetz family are a wonderful bunch. I hope Michigan enjoys Sheetz as much as Sheetz enjoys Michigan.“
