“My new favorite ice cream place! I called on Monday to ask if they had any pumpkin rolls left to make a sundae and they told me yes. In the short time it took me to get there, they sold the last pumpkin roll to the lady in front of me in line. They felt so bad about the misunderstanding that they hand delivered a pumpkin roll and vanilla ice cream to me, on the house, to try and make the situation right (I live almost an hour away). The customer service is unmatched, and their baked goods are amazing! Highly recommend the pumpkin roll and cheesecake sundaes. Loved everything about this ice cream shop, and I will definitely be back!“

“JItty Joes's ice cream served the dessert at our daughter's wedding from their ice cream trailer. The portions were generous and the variety of ice cream products available was extensive. Best of all, the ice creams was yummy and the service pleasant and quick. Great alternative to the traditional wedding cake and baked desserts!.“

My favorite ice cream of all time for over 45 years is mint chocolate chip ..I will judge an entire dairy based on one little taste of my favorite ...as you can see from the size of the scoop , I had many many little tastes and enjoyed every single one of them....smooth, creamy perfectly minty with just the right amount of chocolate! As you can also see, Shasta , my service wahwah enjoyed the heck out of her complimentary pupcup with two teeny weeny milk bone sprinkles!
Such a lovely chill spot and the color changing spoon amused me.

“I really love Malacari's ice cream!! ???The Plains location is one of my favorite s because they have a drive thru (so does the Hanover location) and I think the palm tree deco is a nice touch along with the bright colors of the building. However, it might do them well to pave the parking lot ? Other than that I think it's a really awesome place ? The ice cream choices are vast and ice cream & toppings are delicious ? They now have edible cookie dough available in several flavors (even cake flavor!) ? Also, they now have ice cream nachos which are waffle cone dippers you can dip in peanut butter sauce. The service has always been good too! The kids are friendly and helpful. Lastly, I like that they participate in the Luzerne County Ice Cream Trail! ???“

“Used to love Padulas however this year something is off. They had amazing ice cream, Perry's, for all these years now this year it's definitely a different brand, probably Hersheys which is a little bland in my opinion. It is not their fault that I don't prefer Hersheys. Unless I am confused it's ok in a pinch. The sprinkles also seem to be not the best brand either. I asked for layered and extra extra extra, they don't do this quite as well as every other place. Maybe it's a good thing considering.“

“As a previous employee, the owner is very friendly and accommodating. Working the whole experience was very cool, my only concern is the sweetness of the cookies because with all of the sugar in each cookie (especially the big ones) it can pose as very unhealthy to your health. It is better to eat these in moderation instead of making it an everyday thing. Also, these cookies get costly quick if you order a lot. Other than that, it was a pleasure working with the staff that was there, and grateful for the opportunity I had working there.“

“My whole life we got a popular, nationwide ice cream cake for special events. It's always the same flavor layers, no room for customization, and always pricey... freezer burnt often, inside the location not appearing the freshest. BUT COLD STONE MOOSIC WAS SO CLEAN INSIDE! It smelled fresh, was just so presentable too! The lovely woman who waited on me had such an approachable, friendly, down to Earth manner. I was so comfortable there. The customizations for ice cream cakes is mind-blowing! There are flavor combos as in depth as a human personality! The cake had so many flavors, the best we ever had! Nothing tasted repetitive. You choose ice cream flavors, then mid layer spreads, toppings for the top, toppings for the side, baked cake flavors, frosting types like GANACHE (oh I felt so fancy reading that one), and fruits and candy mix ins. The prices are surprisingly reasonable and I swear, my mid sized cake was heavy enough to bicep curl! Clean store, fantastic owners, quality ingredients!

Parking: Safe, plenty of room close up or further down the lot, right off intestate too

Check the Facebook page!!!I have never had a bad sandwich from here no matter how busy it was, no matter what is going on. The order is right every time and it is fresh and absolutely delicious. Truly set apart from the other places in town and trust me, I tried them out. Most of them I couldn’t finish because I am comparing it to Peters. Dollars WASTED! Because there is no competition. These sandwiches, hot or cold- are worth waiting in the snow for if you needed to. And trust me, I have done it. Straight up waked over with my son in tote, in a snow storm to get a sandwich from here! And oh, it was still hot when I got home.Tracey and her husband are so welcoming, and all the cashiers are as well. They treat everyone equally. They have become family to me.
