“Every visit has been amazing! After every visit, I've realized we were so excited when we got the sushi that I didn't take a single picture of it.This happened yet again tonight... so here is a picture of our receipt and our sushi loving adorable son! We'd get all these rolls again, the last few visits we've gotten the Amazing Tuna and the Geisha rolls while trying a rotation of their other specialty rolls. The Amazing Tuna~ has the BEST sauces 100%Geisha~ great texture, nice go to rollAsuka Bazooka~ we tend to like creative flavor melds but we never would have thought of adding bacon to sushi before and it really works. The jalapeños were a bit spicy, but it was well balanced.Three Musketeers~ visually it looks like too much to tobiko but when you eat a piece it melds perfectly with the quantity of fish in the roll.Tempura Lobster~ was good and exactly as described. It just maybe needed another layer of flavor or texture to really make it sing like the other rolls we enjoyed. The best part of the night was when our son got 'hired' to advertise! He truly does Eat. Sleep. Sushi. Repeat. and he LOVES the Poseidon sushi. The server and manager were great, esp with him.Our drinks were never empty, and they did a wonderful job being present without being intrusive. Can't wait to come back!“
“Soft instrumental music, friendly staff, excellent ginger dressing on the house salad, and impeccable fish in the sushi, this spot is a must go for any sushi lover. Immaculate cleanliness with superb presentation. Cannot wait to visit again.“
“Looking for an exceptional Chinese takeout experience? Look no further than this gem. Audrey, the welcoming face behind the counter, sets the tone with her genuine warmth and personalized service. The portions are sizable and well worth the affordable prices. But what truly impresses is the consistently flavorful and fresh food. Whether you're craving classic favorites or daring to try something new, this place delivers every time. Hands down the best Chinese takeout within a 30-minute radius. Audrey and the team have perfected the art of creating a welcoming atmosphere and delicious cuisine, making each visit a treat worth savoring.“
“It's my new go-to place for Chinese food. I visited here in passing as my usual spot was far away at the time and everyone was hungry. When we got the food it was a mix of being so hungry that anything was good and exceptional food. So I had to go back to see if that shock still existed when I wasn't as hungry. It did. And continues to amaze me as their food has more flavor than any place around Lansdale. The kids absolutely fell in love with it“
“We were looking for Chinese delivery and this food was outstanding as well as quick. I got the coconut shrimp...OMG..delish. Two shrimp filled me up. We also got the classic General Tso chicken, shrimp rolls, and steamed dumplings for all to share. The food was loved by all. Great job.“
“Ashley was a great waitress and was nice to chat with. The food was yummy!! I do feel like the entrees became a bit steep in price. But…. IWould recommend ! Me and my two boys enjoyed ourselves ? and had a complimentary dessert for my 6year old birthday boy! Thanks PF Changs!Kid-friendliness: Kid chopsticks“
“Ate here for the first time this week.Staff was extremely polite and professional. Multiple staff checked in throughout the meal.Food was tasty and the perfect temperature and arrived quickly. The lunch menu gives you an entree choice with rice, salad and soup. Price was reasonable.I recommend you stop here next time you are craving Asian Food.Dietary restrictions: Very attentive to food allergies. Those with nut or shellfish allergies can eat here with confidence.“
“My husband and I stopped here when we were in the area and the food did not dissapoint! We ordered the Hot and Sour Soup, Ban Ban Noodles, "Lamb" w/ Cumin Kabobs, and the Phoenix and Dragon Fly Together (Gen Taos' Chick'n + Shrimp). Everything was great! We were a little sad that they no longer offer a buffet, but it's okay - our server told us they only offer it on holidays. There is so much variety on the menu and if you are having trouble choosing, like we did, the servers are great at recommending items. The atmosphere is a little lackluster but I understand restaurants, especially vegan establishments, are so much work to begin with. We will definitely be visiting again!Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan. Woohoo!!“
“My daughter and I go to this restaurant every Saturdays after her tutoring at church. The food is always excellent. Food portions are always big and tasty. The owners are always so nice to us. We always get their orange chicken, shrimp with garlic sauce and shrimp fried rice. We highly recommend this place.“
“We came for lunch around 1-2PM for a party of 2. It wasn't very busy, maybe 1 or 2 tables were occupied. We were seated immediately and given a takeout menu to look at.We ordered the Dan Dan Noodles and Steamed Pork Dumplings for our appetizers. For my main dish, I ordered the Braised Brisket with Lightly Fried Tofu in Hot Pot.The Dan Dan Noodles came out first. It was quite a large serving and could probably pass as a entree dish. Even sharing between the two of us, we were almost nearly full by the time the entrees came out. The noodles were good, but a little spicy! It did taste like chili oil as well. If you're not a fan of spicy food, you may not enjoy this dish. The Steamed Pork Dumplings came out next. There were 6 pieces total. I honestly can't remember too much about the dumplings--not bad but not good. The Braised Brisket with Lightly Fried Tofu in Hot Pot was quite delicious. It is a soup-based dish and there's plenty of it to share. The broth was delicious, though a little on the saltier side. The brisket was a little tough but still good. It does have skin attached to some of the brisket pieces, which I didn't quite enjoy, but there were sufficient pieces without the skin also. The tofu is firm, and as the name of the dish suggests, lightly fried. It tasted good but I wonder if a softer tofu would complement the dish better.Overall, Cheng Du was a nice little spot to stop in for authentic Chinese dishes. The dishes have big serving sizes, so I would recommend ordering less than you would think. We ended up taking most, if not all, of our entrees home. The food was good and the staff were quick and friendly.“
“We were traveling through and hit the jackpot here. Crab Rangoon and Egg roll were very good. But the sushi stole the show! Spicy salmon crunch was very good...the dynamite was exceptional...we all agreed the New Year was our favorite. There were so many other items we wanted to try. Great food. Great friendly service! Thank you!“
“Angie Baker is full of it dude, idk never once had an issue in 8+ years, never once caught a stray order, the worst that ever happened to us with our meticulous instructions is that they gave us the wrong soda, and when I let them know they told us to keep it, brought us the correct one. Never disappointed by quality, speed, or price. Genuinely love her establishment!“
“I accidentally did not order or note Gluten Free on my grub hub order. The food arrived and looked different than previous times. I immediately called and spoke to a manager. We reviewed the ticket and found the error. It was apparent the employee was more concerned with me not eating gluten than anything else. They could not have been more supportive and accommodating, offering multiple solutions. As a person with Celiac and often feeling unsafe or dismissed in the restaurant scene, this was beyond comforting.“
“All I have to say is WOW! I'm always in the lookout for good Chinese food and I've found a hole in the wall place that's great. Fresh, hot & flavorful. I would suggest ordering ahead of time as this place is steady busy.“
“Liu Garden only has take out service. You can call ahead and order, or walk in and place a take out order and wait. Chairs are available if you're waiting. We have always found the food to be high quality. Parking is available in front of the restaurant.“
“I've lived in the area for over 10 years and I have to say for Phoenixville restaurants Asian Cafe has gotta be #1 for consistency and overall experience throughout the years. I think originally I scoffed at the Chinese/Thai/Japanese menu thinking "you can't do all of that well," but I've be pleasantly surprised and wrong about that. They offer a great balance of quality/affordability while still making the indoor dining experience very cozy and enjoyable. The service has been top tier and it's especially noticeable in covid era burnout/malaise. These people seem to enjoy their work and I'm so grateful they've served the community for so many years. Truly a gem.“
“Forever was the first Chinese restaurant we discovered after we moved from NJ to Mainline Philly in 2017. We quickly got hooked on their refined Szechuan style Chinese dishes. They are very tasteful but less spicy than in China That's perfect to our tastes. We frequently saw many Chinese students in Philly driving out to dine in Forever. And we also kept coming back. During COVID 19 pandemic we were quite worried that the restaurant might close the door. So we tried to come to eat if allowed or take out if dinning in was not possible. Over time I developed some favorite dishes and anytime I went, I always got exactly the same style and taste for my dishes. The consistency has been amazing! In my view, Forever is the best Chinese restaurant outside I476 around KOP and along Mainline.“
“This is one of those "hole-in-the-wall" places that are mainly set up for take out orders. Although they do have a few tables for dining in, I don't think they have wait service. ? (That's just my opinion because it's not that type of restaurant with the ambiance. The tables are there more for if you'd rather sit there to eat your food, IMO)... I really love their scallion pancakes as an appetizer as well as their General Tso's, Chicken in Garlic Sauce, and Mu Shu Pork! ? I feel like a Chinese food conoiseur and this is the only place that I will order from. Moved to a neighboring area over 12 years ago and I've tried every single Chinese place over the years. This is the only one I go to now and I will drive out of my way to order from here! ?“
“Best Chinese/American Food in the area. If in the mood for more authentic Chinese, Han Dynasty is right down the street. But if you want consistently amazing, Chinese American cuisine like the best egg foo young I’ve had in years, or egg rolls, spare ribs etc this place is on point every time. Thanks China Inn!“
“WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!It's hard to know where to start....my husband loves that the Schezwan food is spicy and delicious. I don't eat spices and there is a great variety of "not spicy" food for me to enjoy. The portions are HUGE so there are always lots of yummy leftovers. We've gotten food at China King 3 times now, and we will definitely be back. Every time, we've had a hard time picking what to order because there is such an extensive menu. But we pick, and then we order something extra just to try something new. We have not been disappointed! We call, we place an order, we pick up and take it home. The orders are always correct and complete. I've seen other reviews that were less than 5 stars, but those appear to be delivery orders -- I would blame the delivery service - not China King.“
“We were there to celebrate my daughters birthday and have sushi. Our reservations were for 6 and had to wait a little while to be seat, but wasn't too long. Once seated, our service was timely, food was very good. The four of us enjoyed our meal. The dinning area is a little too tight. The atmosphere felt upscale though. The parking was easy. I would go back.“
“Great local Chinese place. If you're expecting Michelin Star food (as some of the other reviewers seem to), you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking for standard chinese takeout, you can't beat Number 1. Restaurant is family-owned and the owners are very nice. The food is good and they get it out quick. I recommend the General Tso's combo platter if you like spice!“
“I love this place! It’s my go-to for my family. Every time I come in, it’s a great experience. The woman at the front desk always greets with a smile and even a hug! Everyone there works so hard and makes the best Chicken and Broccoli. I even ask on DoorDash for just French fries for my toddler, and they do it! Love this cozy Blue Bell jem of a restaurant! :)“
“Nice staff I ordered a sweet and sour chicken combo plater the fried rice and were fine, but the breaded chicken was very good very moist nice portions, usually I order pork but this place only had the chicken and i find most places its dry or rubbery !“
“I really like this restaurant. I went out with my family.it was a great experience.my family really enjoyed it.it was cheap but great.it takes a couple of mins but it looks really fresh.if your unpatient you might not like this restaurant.if you are you would probably will hopefully.if you like fortune cookies you get them before you even ask them, they can read your mind! So yeah I really recommend this restaurant if you are a chicken or sushi person.this is my I recommend this restaurant.“
“When I took my mom out for lunch I was not expecting anything spectacular, but we were both surprised! From the moment we walked in we were accommodated beyond our expectations. Skylar led us to our table and made sure we had everything we needed. Xander was our server, and he was super helpful in deciding which meals to choose. My mom is particular with cocktails, and he made an old fashioned and later an espresso martini that really impressed her. Looking forward to bringing back family and friends.Vegetarian options: Love the Buddha’s Feast!“
“This has been our family's go-to takeout place for the past 8 years. My kids have grown up loving their "dippy chicken" (sweet and sour), and their lo mein has gotten us all through some bad days. Feeling down? Go get yourself some lo mein from Mayflower, make yourself a cup of tea at home, and cozy up under a soft blanket. If I'm having an especially rough day, a side order of steamed vegetables and some crab rangoons can make the world feel a little better. My youngest child says the only way he likes cashews is when he has the cashew chicken from Mayflower. My husband, without fail, orders the bourbon chicken every time. Even when he says he might want to switch it up, we all know he'll still end up ordering the bourbon chicken. For good reason - it is incredibly good! I usually order their pad thai. I know, they are not listed as a thai food place, but they still make the best pad thai I've had within a 20 mile radius! I like to get mine extra spicy so it has a little kick. Their Mongolian beef is good. I've gone through a few phases where I'll prefer their Schezuan chicken or hunan chicken, or I'll feel like trying something a bit different - everything I've tried has been good. I will say that I prefer the white rice over fried, I don't order the general tsao's very often because I find it a little too sweet, and while I don't mind their boneless spare ribs, they aren't something I order often as they can be a little dry, but those are all personal preferences. Also, thank goodness for online ordering! I have anxiety and trouble hearing, which can make talking on the phone or placing orders in person nearly impossible at times, so I greatly appreciate the ability to click a few buttons and know that my order will be ready quickly. That said, the people are always very friendly, their delivery driver always greets me with a smile, and it's clear that a lot of care is put into their business. I look forward to many more years, knowing if I ever need a little joy through the day, an order from Mayflower is a great place to start.“
“Great pho!! I got the beef stew pho, husband got the deluxe. Got a few appetizers too. The pho was incredible, the meat was very tender! The dumplings were delicious. I wasn’t too big of a fan of my nieces meals. The fried chicken and grilled shrimp.“
“Jin Ding is really good. The owner is now cooking here, and he’s atop Hong Kong chef. If you haven’t been here for a while, you should try their Christmas special. It’s really good and reasonably priced. But you better hurry because it ends by the end of the year. We had the Christmas special and we had stuff to take home. we came back again for an early dinner. Ming, the owner head chef out did himself we had roast duck, bean shoots with garlic, and a fish hot bowl. Super good stuff. Really Chinese tasting food. Felt I’m back in Hong Kong.“
“The general tso's sauce IS the best! I get the general tso's tofu (don't knock it till ya try it) and it's great every single time. Their tofu(or whatever)+ broccoli (brown sauce) is really good as well. I don't usually get the fried rice but I recall it being decent. Not a sit in restaurant and it isn't the most welcoming store front as another person as mentioned, but the food is fast and delicious and I have never had a single issue.Vegetarian options: General tso's tofu“
“The food was delicious, especially the North Indian food garlic naan was awesome, not only that each and every dish they are providing especially chole bhature and biryani’s was super good taste , I suggest everyone visit this restaurant once in a while,I'm sure you’ll not at all feel bad.“
“Amazing food . The Price is even better.Parking: If you are not familiar with driving in a city, parking may be difficult for you. Just keep calm, and follow what the other drivers are doing. But please...Do not leave your car doors unlocked.“
“This was my late mother's favorite restaurant, and also my teenage son's favorite restaurant. I didn't realize that they were going to close this beautiful location, so it was very special that we went there for my son's birthday celebration! They were slammed because of all the people who were trying to get one last amazing meal before they close on March 19, 2024, but the food remained absolutely amazing, flavorful, and beautifully presented! “
“I’ve passed this place so many times and finally stopped and I’m glad we did. The food is amazing, the staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Everything on the menu looks good and Diana helped suggest what to order. All of the food is extremely flavorful and aromatic. The wood ear mushroom & pepper sauce is very refreshing and is a nice palette cleanser, had some spicy cucumber added to it and it was fantastic. We were also recommended the fried pork belly with leek which has a nice sweet and slightly peppery spice. Lastly the family stew is incredible. It has beef, shrimp, fish, leek, chili, pretty much ever flavor you can imagine with a nice spicy oily broth, one of the most flavorful Chinese dishes I’ve had. We will definitely be coming back, there was not a single thing I could complain about.“
“First time eating here, The food was fantastic!!! I have had shrimp egg foo young in many places but not many can compare to this one! I dont like when they put yellow gravy on the egg Foo young its gross! ?? here you get brown gravy and egg Foo young is cooked to perfection! Not oily and overly cooked to the point of almost burnt. Truly I will come here again! And the place was VERY clean ?“
“Looking at some of the other reviews, I feel like these people ordered from another restaurant or are just trying to sabotage. This place is fantastic. I don't commonly review because I only go out of my way to do it when warranted. My wife has not been happy with a single Chinese restaurant in the Philadelphia area until we found this one. Where we live, I cross my fingers every time, hoping we're still in their delivery range. I guess some people need their food MSG'd to hell rather than enjoying actual ingredients. If the latter is what you want, this is the place.“
“We always get delivery or pick up, mostly delivery. The food is really good! They are pretty quick. Sometimes, on the weekends it can take a while. But they’re busy, so we plan for it. We have enjoyed everything we’ve tried! Very good customer service! Definitely recommend trying!“
“I adore this restaurant, & have for many many years. Have given gift certificates to family members for many occasions . Delicious food, wonderful people, NEVER received a bad meal. Absolutely highly recommend this restaurant. Very quaint!“
“Ordered online. To be fair, it was a holiday and they were super busy. But the girl at the register was friendly and made sure to get my order right as my party asked for some substitutions. A little extra waiting but she threw in some free shrimp egg rolls. The food was tasty and correct! Will come again“
“We love the food from this place in the Strip-Mall. I think it's owned by the same person who owns all the other stores.I asked for cooking the Chicken softer since I'm without Teeth. They cooked everything exactly the way I asked. The Lady is very friendly and outgoing. We had a chance to quickly discuss Chinese New Year and year of the Rabbit.Even though everyone is behind Plexi-glass, because of COVID and all other contagious things, it appears they are doing their part in social distancing and keeping clean. She even read a man's phone and his Order thru the glass, because he is mute and deaf. He read her Lips when she spoke. All went well.Food and drink always great. They make the best Sweet Tea like in the South and in a big plastic container.Free item if you order over a certain $ amount (which you need to tell them when you place the order) of food.I also want to say something regarding the other Review someone posted about "seeing Roaches". I find that to be untrue as I've never seen any Bugs and she's possibly trying to keep Customers from going there. She wouldn't have taken the food if that were the case. Nobody would.Every place in the Strip-Mall is clean and I see Employees taking precautions to protect others and themselves.I see the owner keeping a close Eye from store to store even with Security Cameras and Recording Monitors everywhere which is great for many reasons.?The machine to make a Debit Card or Credit card payment is right in front of the Window. There is Sanitizer on the table to use before and after touching anything there. Cash is handled thru an opening in the window. There is a small Speaker to speak through.Plants and decorations are beautiful.I know this is a lengthy Review, but it's a great place with delicious Food. ??They Do Delivery and the Cost for that is not the Delivery persons Tip. Consider Gas, wear n tear on the car, etc. Please, if you can, give generously, because they need to feed their families, too.Enjoy,????? Malachi“
