“Tugboats is everything you want in a neighborhood spot: friendly people, a welcoming vibe, and amazing food. Jimmy's pizza is hands down the best I've had in Pittsburgh so far and I'm from Philly and have eaten pizza all over, including New York. But you have to get down there early because they sell out of pizza often.
Momma Jackie and the staff treat everyone like family, and they absolutely adore my dog Freya with water, treats, and plenty of love. The deck is the perfect place to sit back with a slice, a drink, and your pup.“

For the 30+ ppl, each tray tasted homemade - like your family was serving the family classics. We had the most tender n juicy ribs (Carolina gold - 🔥), wings 🔥, mac 🔥, greens🔥, cornbread🤤.... and here's the best part - it wasn't heavy at all. “Well, went to Storming Crab in homestead, pa. I was so disapointed. First I ordered a drink. Cranberry and top shelf vodka. Came with no vodka, plain cranberry. People at the bar said they didn't make that drink?? It took over 20 min for the girl to take our food order, which took another 20 min to get and when it came no ketchup or tartar sauce. So waited for condiments which never came, in the meantime we were done eating and another member of our party still hadn't received his seafood boil. Still no tartar sauce, shrimp very cold, now the seafood boil comes. Still no tartar sauce. So they cold shrimp was taken off the bill. I don't understand the time span, looks like they need more workers. Just too slow. I'm not going to give them another chance, first impression last impression plus corn was ordered and told Jazlyn was missing, never got it. With this service this place won't be here long.“

“My family stopped by on Saturday afternoon ordered a Pgh pizza and loaded fries. The Pizza was out of this world. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. Our server was Jodie and she was so friendly and efficient we never had to ask a refill on drinks. Most pleasant trip there ever.“

“My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. “We've been eating at Esta Esta for many years. The restaurant and bar are very inviting and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent, especially the steaks, shrimp and appetizers. Drinks are fantastic and you can eat at a table or in the bar.“

“We needed a place that had power during the wind storm to feed our kids and actually called asking if they had a kids menu they said yes and even told us what was on it over the phone. We ended up going the kids got chicken, fries and applesauce. Husband and I got salmon and swordfish both vary good, the bread was good,my salad was good husband said the house dressing was a little strong but still good. The waitresses were all great and super friendly. Even the customers were all friendly. The place is a little pricey though so be prepared but worth it for the price, the amount of food and the service. We'll be back!“

The seasoning is the best part, I always ask for extra in addition to buying a side of it so I can cover everything in it 🤣 I’ve tried quite a few of their seafood options- shrimp, cod, perch, catfish filet & nuggets- and have never been disappointed by any of them. The pick 2 combo with shrimp and catfish nuggets is my go-to though, best catfish I’ve ever had. The fries are always hot and crispy even when I get them delivered through doordash, and the hush puppies are great too. And you gotta have the funnel cake sticks for dessert! I love Hook 💕🐟🍤“

They had us sitting in front of the fireplace, which was very hot, and we were really crammed at our table. The appetizers were delicious, but my main course was a bit bland. I had the fettuccine with vodka sauce. It tasted much better as a leftover with garlic powder and parmesan cheese over it.“

“I arrived not long after they opened and I received the BEST meal I have ever had at a LJS. I've been a loyal customer for decades and since it is harder to find locations I go out of my way when I travel to get my fix.
The employee who packed my order was super kind and as I said the food was delicious.
My only issue is the condition of the store. And honestly this complaint goes for a number of locations left in the area. The store is in BAD shape. I've worked in food service for over 35 years and if the dining room that patrons see is in such a state of disarray then I can't even imagine what the kitchen and BOH areas look like. It would take a full day of deep cleaning, scrubbing and detailing to get the dining room to a somewhat acceptable level. The Butler location is bad too but not nearly as bad as this location but I will say the food at Butler left much to be desired the last time I was there.
I'm not in the Pittsburgh area much these days but if I do return I'll stick with the drive thru right at open in the hopes that I'm not reminded of the condition of the restaurant.“
