It's a small place in Swissvale, just a few minutes off the Parkway East. We opted for the Sunday buffet. Plenty of selections and a VERY reasonable price! The food was excellent!”

“This place is AMAZING! My mom and I are in town for a college tour, and many people were walking around with the ice cream so I suggested we give it a try. Immediately the two guys in there were delightful and very helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was so fun the moment we walked in. The flavors were amazing and I almost couldn’t choose between the Thin Mint and the Pittsburgh Pride. I ended up going with the latter. It is like brownie/oreo/cookie chunks and butterscotch. There might be another thing added. My mom got the pear flavor. We are both extremely satisfied with our choices. They did say that the flavors change up pretty often - for example, they’re getting ready for Blackberry Lemonade. But Pittsburgh Pride will always be available. So if you’re looking for a cute little dessert place after dinner, this is the place!”

As a person with a strict gluten free diet, I loved being able to find a restaurant that not only offered gluten free items but items that could be made gluten free! Everything I have tried has been amazingly prepared, the staff is excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and beautiful. I'll definitely be making this a favorite dinner place!”

“This place was recommended to me by a friend, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Great service, chatted with one of the owners. He shared his families beginnings, starting with his Nana’s exceptional recipes. They use quality ingredients… then they add pure love, respect and consistency in the food that they put forth daily. Great people, great story and great pizza. The dough was light and crispy, a perfect mix so the toppings can shine! Cash only. A definite must if you’re in Verona!”

“My husband and I went for a relaxing meal and this place was amazing! It’s beautiful inside, seats are plush and comfy, and we never felt rushed. In fact we told our waiter Eric we wanted to take our time and he said I got you. We enjoyed each course (we did them all) and had time to rest between the next one. The food was outstanding! We had the small Italian board to start, fantastic cheese and meat. We each got 2 different salads to try them. The beggars pockets were so good, definitely our favorite. The caprese type salad was very good too. The main course was savory and delicious! I had the garlic feta shrimp with homemade gnocci (loved!), my husband had the tortolinni with scallops and he loved it. We split the cherry torte dessert and that was an awesome ending. The wine was very good as well as the coffee. We will be going back for sure!”

“Such an awesome restaurant. Had a great experience. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup was fantastic. Same with the wonton soup; never had better wontons. We also got beef fried rice and string bean chicken. All of it was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Thanks for the great lunch!”

“Never having eaten there before, I stopped on a whim. Boy was I glad I did. I got the platter with all meats and each of them was outstanding. The sauces are all great and the cornbread is the best I’ve had in a long time. I’m definitely getting bbq there for any get togethers I have at home”

“Best areas I've had from a restaurant! Had a Venezuelan roommate in college and have been friends for 20 yrs. Eaten many areas at restaurants and homemade and these were perfect!I got this nice juicy arepa with a wonderfully crispy corn flour shell and could not have been more pleased with it. Excellent blend of ingredients! I got the pabellon with seasoned shredded chicken, plantain, black beans, and quest fresco, smeared both sauces on and got into the messy traditional Venezuelan hand "taco". With some minor effort it didn't completely fall apart, just a few bites of ingredients fell out. That means they didn't skimp on the food but also didn't overload it to bursting. Perfect! Paired it with a classic Venezuelan Malta barley soda. Yum!The decor here is exactly how it should be you guys are doing an awesome job and 4.8 stars right now is Ballin! ROCK ON, Papelon!Don't mind the honey in the photo, I got it down the street from the Squirrel Hill Market. My wife loves the dark buckwheat honey and the kids will be delighted with the honey sticks.”

“Visiting from out of town with family, we all live out of town. This pizza place is right around the corner. We stopped in to buy soda and grabbed a menu for later. Meet the night manager Chris, super nice and very helpful. Later we called to order pizzas to pick up. Ordered 3 large pizzas, one plain cheese, one of the new superoni and the new pittsburger pizza, all were AMAZING! Lots of flavor, fresh dough, crust was soooo yummy! We also ordered a tossed salad, it’s enough for 4 people, and French fries, very crispy and plenty for 6 people. Would definitely go back again next time in Pittsburgh.”

There was a female there named Aaliyah she was quite helpful and patient with me since it was my first time at a juicery. The best gyros in town. If you’re visiting Pittsburgh this is a must. If you live in the area or a hour within this place, this place is it. Prices are reasonable, food is amazing, portion size is good, and customer service 5 star.Tonight we ordered late and we never do, close to closing time. It was busy when we placed the order, didn’t realize it was close to closing time at the time. Went to run a errand and we got there past closing time. About 5 minutes. Grateful for them for waiting for us. I understand they have to clean and get things ready for the next night but I so appreciate them. We were about to be gyro-less. Even if I didn’t get my food tonight I would have understood. Thankful for the management team, owner, the employees always.Highly recommend this place. 100 stars!
