“Without question the best food I’ve probably ever eaten. I am writing this review with a full belly and a fulfilled feeling. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. The woman whose name I wish I had caught made wonderful recommendations and even had a laugh at my boyfriend with me. (He picked a basic chicken meal) sorry to her husband, but I agree the chili sauce added to our ceviche elevated the taste. Not a single dish was even close to being simply “okay.” Do not sleep on this place. The only downside is that I live 2.5 hours away and was only visiting.”

“We loved the food at the Tom X pub! It was delicious The cons; the bartenders during the day are MIA and the place was dead. Not one occasion, BUT two. And two different bartenders. One bartender forgot numerous items we ordered. Another time, a bartender was doing shots with customers at the bar. It’s a shame because the food is so good, but due to the lack of good service, we probably won’t be back.”

“I was looking for a cup of coffee when I happened upon Tatra Deli. They were inviting, made a strong cup of coffee, and I picked up a variety of delicious kielbasa and pierogi. I’ll definitely be back with my family! Wish I lived closer.”

“I was in town visiting friends and decided to stop in and try Sue's. The food was fantastic and service was extremely friendly and fast. We tried the red curry and the Thai fried rice. I highly recommend trying both.”

“My wife and I have been here three times and each time has been amazing. The food reminded me of my service trips to El Salvador. The pupusas are the best that I’ve had in the U.S. the other selection is outstanding. They even accommodated my vegetarian diet. Super friendly staff, beautiful dining area, and God loving people. “My group was in town for a wedding and went to Rudy's to catch the Penn State game. We were the opposing fans. The staff and regular crowd were very welcoming, with some good natured ribbing. Food and drinks were affordable, and the food was delicious. The menu is small, mostly bar sandwiches and pizza. The super dog is their specialty, and my friends said it was to die for.”

The Korean Bulgogi beef tacos are amazing, the sweet burbon bacon burger is incredible along with the sweet plantains and the sticky boneless wings!! So glad we found this place! “I have purchased gift cards for the staff and they loved it. Yesterday they all had lunch - raved about the chicken sandwiches and the chicken salad - very fresh and delicious and inexpensive! “Our first visit to Derailed Taphouse was fantastic, thanks to our server, Nico. We were a party of seven celebrating a birthday, and from start to finish our service was impeccable. Nico was attentive without ever being overbearing, super friendly, kept great conversation, and made sure every single order was correct. He checked in at all the right times, kept drinks filled, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. He turned a good meal into a great experience, and because of him we’ll absolutely be back. Food was also really good!”

We came here on a Friday night. There weren’t many single slices available. But our awesome waitress said we could get a whole specialty pizza and do 2 different types. So we did that and we’re glad we did. We had leftovers the next night! The price was more than fair. About $20 for a specialty pizza and 2 sodas. Wow!!!

We didn’t get to try any craft beer but that had plenty to choose from! Nice atmosphere. We would definitely come back if we’re in the area again!”

“Been coming to The Big A since we started coming to The Poconos a few years ago. Tracy’s dishes are all phenomenal but the bourbon peach glazed salmon is exceptional. Sharon has become our favorite waitress since our first visit. If you’re looking for a great meal, try The Big A!”

“Was here 7/11/24 food was poor... its declined , prices have gone up but understand .... wish food would have stayed the same being the price has gone up... eggroll size is down by 50%... pork fried rice had no veggies(no onion, carrots, peas, bean sprouts) chicken tasted like mostly fat... wont be back... homemade ice tea took a hit too... less sugar?? lady at the register had 0 manners gave me a empty plate with 2 napkins... said "Here, for your food" sat 10 minutes like a lil kid with my empty plate while i waited...

A bit pricey lately but I can't blame them with prices of everything going up. We try to order for family pizza nights at least once or twice a month and they never disappoint!
