“*A true symphony of flavor*I've been here not once, not twice but three times and can only speak well of this establishment. I've gotten their BBQ wings (what the other reviews say about the flavor is true; FULL SLAP), their salmon rice bowl and their salmon and chicken salad. The salads are a great go if you're looking for something healthy! I'm not sure how they fix their salmon but it's seasoned to perfection ? will be returning!Ordered online thru their site (menuify I believe), food has always been ready by their promised time. Polite staff and humble place.“
“Yelp Central has asked me to review this business three times already. Although it appears that it no longer exists in this form, I have not spoken with management to determine it's actual status, and am not in position to notify Yelp of its current circumstances. All I can say is that it appears that the Creek Side Market now consists of three separate businesses: Creek Side Restaurant & Deli, Haven Local and Cheshire Brewery. They share a common dining area and are symbiotic to the extent of trying not to duplicate menus and helping out with products one may not have that are available next door. For example, Haven Local didn't sell hot coffee and directed me to the deli across the room for it, and they were happy to oblige. I also saw a guy with a meal from Haven Local sitting at the Cheshire bar and chowing down while chatting with a woman who appeared to be running the brewery. Why not down a cold one while scarfing down a large Sunday brunch?! So, until the powers that be of this laid back comfort zone decide to update Yelp with their intentions, we can all continue to take advantage of all the goodies being offered there.“
“The Love. Umm, yes please. The vibe. The food. The staff. All great.I went for a solo dinner while in town for a conference. I initially wanted to get the fried chicken with grits and collards but my Server mentioned the special for the night, the ribeye with macaroni & cheese and said he’d go with the ribeye. So I did! It was a double the price but I was out of town and why not treat myself to a steak! It did not disappoint, so so good. Unfortunately I had a bit of a headache so I didn’t have a cocktail but the iced tea was good. ? I live in Atlanta, so hopefully I’ll be back soon enough to try out a drink. I had a lovely meal and it was pretty busy Sunday night. I guess it’s a popular spot.“
“Great service, friendly people, and the food is amazing!! Super tasty and yummy! Prices aren’t bad at all! They FEED you that’s for sure! Go check it out if you haven’t tried it yet!! You won’t be disappointed. Definitely recommend!“
“Amazing little bar with a great beer selection and excellent bar food. The wings were among the best I’ve ever had (and I’m from Alberta - we take wings seriously!) knowledgeable server and very friendly. They put a lot of care into the food and drink of this bar and it shows.“
“Throughout the meal, Chanel checked in on us regularly to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. She was quick to address any requests , making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. What truly stood out was the genuine warmth and hospitality displayed by Chanel. Chanel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued as guests. She exceeded my expectations!!“
“I definitely would recommend the Morris House Hotel. The staff were friendly, accommodating, thoughtful, and kind. The decor is historically beautiful and charming. Our mini suite was clean as were the common areas on the first floor. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! Your kindness was greatly appreciated!“
“Was in Philly for the weekend looking for the best cheesesteak while we were there. The hotel recommended Oh Brother. It was good with very good service. Large portions and very tasty. Wish we had time to try well known Pat's but it was not recommended by the hotel or Lyft driver. Maybe next time.“
“Hey, folks, just gonna share some thoughts on Asad's Hot Chicken. Been around for a bit now in West Philly, and gotta say, those two-piece BIG OLE chicken fingers with fries? Yeah, they're kinda hitting different. I mean, you wouldn't expect much, just some chicken and fries, right? But these chicken fingers? They've got this subtle heat, this crunch that's kinda addictive. And the fries? Simple, but slightly spicy. It gives old bay-ish seasoning, but they just work, you know? Service? It serves. And the vibe at Asad's? It's cool, laid-back. Like, you walk in, and it's like, "Yeah, I could hang here for a bit...just a little. lol (Not the biggest place and there's no chairs or tables. Strictly pick-up.) So, if you're ever in the area and feeling peckish, might as well swing by Asad's Hot Chicken. Give those two-piece chicken fingers with fries a shot. Can't hurt, right? What's your fave hot chicken spot?“
“This place offers some of the most delicious and incredible vegan/vegetarian items ever!! Jeff, the owner/chef, is super creative and talented! I had the yuba hoagie, which was so divine that I finished the whole thing! If you love garlic, the toum dipping sauce that comes with the za'atar fries is unreal! I also had the cauliflower salad with the tahini dressing. The combo was unmatched! Oh, another one of my favorites is the patty melt!! Andy makes them like no other!Go try them out before they close! But hopefully enough people go so they don't close!!!“
“Our server, Kareema, was welcoming and pleasant. She took our orders accurately. The food was tasty and well-prepared. This Applebee’s on Aramingo Avenue is by far my favorite one in the Philadelphia area. The atmosphere and staff have been 5 stars every time we’ve dined here. Keep up the excellent work and we will be back!“
“Most places just make food.. This place cares about the food it makes. Friendly staff fresh products even interesting convo and good music... The vibe is amazing here and it ahoes through the food !! A must try !!! ??Vegetarian options: Kennet squareJack fruitAnd impossible meatAll can be made in a myriad of ways ???Dietary restrictions: Just communicate with the chefs and most likely they can take care of you !Kid-friendliness: The staff is amazing they met kids ring the bell !Wheelchair accessibility: Comcast center is wheelchair accessible“
“good beer selections and one of the best burgers I've had no I can't remember how long. For real best in region ?♥️Went again last night with the family. Our youngest turned 21 and wanted to go to Lucky's. The staff made him feel special. Very cool“
“Incredible vegan deli in the Reading Terminal Market! I was recently visiting Philadelphia and found this sweet gem on the Happy Cow app. I ended up ordering two different days during my visit and both times the service was quick and the sandwiches were delicious!!“
“I was in Philly with my boss and a colleague for an industry event. They were asking for a place to go for a bite and a beer. I asked my daughter who is local for some recommendations and she recommended Good Dog Bar. There are many great restaurants in the center city area, but this one does a great job. At 6:30 on a Monday, the place was quite busy. We were able to get a booth. I didn't see any tables for large groups downstairs. Most of the bar area and tables were full when we started ordering. The beer selection is diverse and prices are reasonable. For my main dish, I had to try to vegan Philly Cheesesteak. You might say that this is quite blasphemous being in Philly and doing vegan. I'm not sure how they did it, but it was very tasty. They also have some awesome fries with it. As far as parking, find a lot or garage or it's better to use mass trans or bike.“
“Great place for Korean style chicken wings and sauces! Friendly and fast, but not too fast, service. This made the food real good, tender and juicy! Not dried out! Sauce was sweet, garlicky and spicy all at one go! Loved it! ? couldn't stop eating!“
“It was our first time there. The server was friendly and came frequently to check up on us, even though he was tied up to another bigger group who had a birthday celebration. Paying was smooth, because everything was in a handheld device. The food portions were huge. I ended up taking my half of the meal home. It was delicious! Definitely would come back if we ended up shopping at the mall.“
“Worth the lil detour off the highway while passing through Philly. Shotgun review: - Divey, friendly atmosphere - Famous, award-winning PB&J burger* - Funky specials & daily deals (wine Wednesday, etc) - Gluten free options** - A few surprise costs*** *Interesting! Better than I expected & I'm glad I tried it. I wouldn't order it again but it was worth it for the experience. **Gluten-free bun was stale & cold, though. ***Didn't realize fries weren't included with burgers until we got the check. Oops. Also coke from the gun was $3.50 here which seemed a lil criminal.“
“If you’re strolling through Old City and find yourself hankering for a genuine Philly cheesesteak, you’ve got to swing by Sonny’s Famous Steaks. It’s a laid-back spot where the cheesesteaks are so good, they’ve been hailed as “The Best in Philadelphia” by GQ Magazine. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Sonny’s welcomes you with open arms and a menu that’s sure to satisfy. Dive into a cheesesteak made with in-house sliced Angus beef, nestled in a fresh Italian roll, and you’ll understand why this place is a staple for cheesesteak aficionados. And hey, if you’re not into beef, they’ve got you covered with burgers and vegetarian options too. It’s the kind of place where the staff remembers your order after a couple of visits, making you feel right at home. So, next time you’re near the Liberty Bell, make a beeline for Sonny’s – it’s a Philly experience you won’t want to miss.“
“On Point was very on point with our brunch. It's a BYOB spot in heart of Point Breeze with some great flavors and vibes. The group sampled quite a few starters including wings and cheesesteak egg rolls. For the main meal I had to go with the Challah French Toast. Unique flavor especially with the cheese and nuts. The group really enjoyed all the food. Our server TJ was also awesome. Made some great suggestions. Catch me back at on point in the summer.“
“As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find meat-free brunch options that can compare to traditional items. Sidecar Bar is the best brunch i’ve had in Philly! I got the Hippy Benny and it was PHENOMENAL!!! The ingredients were fresh and the potatoes were incredible. I went with a large group and some other favorites were the pancakes, the breakfast flatbread, and the Texan Benny. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat while still remaining casual and family friendly. Our server was friendly and attentive and it was all around a great experience! Definitely make Sidecar Bar your next Philly food destination!“
“First things first: this is located inside the Whole Foods. I had the double PLNT burger and it was very good. My only complaint was probably a little too much "cheese" The fries were excellent. I got the large and it was an enormous serving. They are really good. As mentioned, it's a counterspace inside the Whole Foods grocery store so there isn't much as far as ambience, but the service was friendly and fairly fast. Next time I'm in the area. I will probably stop back.“
“This is clearly a local watering hole. Wasn't very crowded for a weekday lunch, but food was good and service was prompt. The only thing I personally didn't like was the menu seemed a little limited, but that's a personality thing.“
“We went here for a quick bite and weren't disappointed. We had a chicken and a beef Philly. Both of those were huge sandwiches for the money! The beef one was chipotle and it was quite delicious but very spicy. So if you a looking for a little kick I would highly recommmend it. We also had old bay fries which had the potential to be good but they were so dang salty. They come with cheese whiz, but it doesn't help how salty they are. Lastly we got a cheese pizza. That was mid at best. Almost no cheese on it and a mediocre sauce. The place does have seating in the back despite how it looks, it just ordering was slightly confusing because they had a sign over a tablet that said order here but you really should order at the countertop because the tablet doesn't have all the options of things you could order like drinks or slices. Overall though a really good place to grab a bite, excellent staff and good food!“
“There was a group of 7 women and we had just left the Katt Williams Comedy Show heading back to Maryland, so most of us wanted just a little something to hold us over and since it was late night. So my Cuz saw pizzeria in the name and said let's stop there. The rest is 'Delicious History' thank you Lil' Trent and the 2 other gentleman that were cooking. The group ordered pizza, fries, steak subs, and chicken subs, but they also had a salmon sub. I will be scheduling a drive up to Philly soon just to try that salmon sub; which will be a difficult choice considering my chicken cheese sub was the best I've ever had in my 57 yrs. We all was very very pleased with everything we ordered. There was a wait even that late at night, but a well worth it wait. We actually was 1 of 3 of the last customers that were there waiting and we closed the restaurant down with a personal shot out to Lil' Trent as he locked up. Huge Kudos to the 3 man staff that was holding it down and representing on Sunday night-4/7/24.?????? ???????Parking: We were lucky to park almost right in front, but large group, so some stayed in van.“
“My sisters and I were getting together for a sisters day and discovered this jewel! The owner and her staff were very friendly and most accomodating! The service was excellent! The ambiance was classy, inviting and comfortable. The food was SUPERB! We had a variety of wings, lemon pepper, sweet chili and bbq. All succulent! Fries and onion rings were flavorful as well. It was so good I took an order to go! You cannot go wrong with South Flavors!! I can't wait to go back!“
“Great service and greater food, but the atmosphere is the real draw here. Very nice place to take a date or family in town. Elegant but casual. The brunch menu has a fantastic range while staying brief. Strong 8/10 overall I will definitely be back again“
“Pat, the man!! First time there tonight and came due to closeness of location and reviews… but blackened chicken salad and wings to go were both A+Pat’s presence and convos were representation of what a local bar should be! When you walk into a bar and don’t feel awkward to hang by yourself and enjoy a moment… this is the place to be. I will be back soon, thanks for a great time!“
“I never had before in Johnny G’s. I just wanted to give a try to the food the food was amazing ? I ordered tomato pie & cheese steak sandwiche. From now only stop for me is Johny G’s I recommend everyone try their sandwiches The staff are also very friendly and communicative.“
“Want some great food without the huge price??? This is the spot. The burgers are seriously ?!!! The guy behind the counter was super friendly and helpful for a first-timer. The place is small but super fun and bonus points for having streetlight manifesto on when I walked in!!! Won't be my last time here!“
“Vegan vegan vegan. With only one review on here using the word, it's time to draw attention. There are vegan options here. The veggie burger, vegetable wrap, and red pepper hummus with pita are all vegan. Yay! If you're into meat, you've got loads of options. Food spans a cross between gastro pub and dive bar (read: soups, chili, wings, steak tip sandwiches; quesadilla, nachos, and a variety of sandwiches.) Prices are reasonable and sandwiches come with fries or salad. The beer list is pretty long for a neighborhood watering hole. I snagged a pint of a great black lager, and also tried the Fiddlehead white which was nice too. There were about eight brews on draft and double that number in cans and bottles, plus ciders. Sitting under a tree trapped up in fairy lights on the outdoor patio was quite nice. Indoors is dark wood and a long bar and TV screens. Good place for sports fans or biergarten lunchers. Friendly service too. G'ahead, give it a try.“
“Angy’s is a hidden gem with a variety of selections. Breakfast and lunch are very tasty with a great variety. For dinner they serve authentic Mexican. The food here is delicious and priced very well! The ice is creamy and delectable. Angel is very friendly and outgoing! Family owned business with excellent customer service. Highly recommended!!“
“Jennifer Anderson (GM) is the nicest human. There was a problem with my order (two people had the same name for two deliveries) and she personally made sure that I got a replacement. She is a 10/10 human and the restaurant makes AMAZING gluten free pizza. Very safe for people with celiac diseaseDietary restrictions: great for people with celiac disease“
“Walking into Two Robbers Fishtown is like discovering a hidden gem in Philadelphia’s vibrant nightlife. The atmosphere is charged with a lively spirit, and the decor is a feast for the eyes, with art that’s as eclectic and spirited as the seltzer flavors on offer. The staff, always welcoming and knowledgeable, seem to have a knack for suggesting the perfect seltzer to match the mood—each one a unique blend of refreshing notes. The standout, though, has to be the burger, a harmonious combination of flavors that pairs wonderfully with the crispness of the house fries. It’s the kind of place that invites spontaneity and promises an evening filled with relaxed enjoyment and new discoveries.“
“I’ve had takeout a few times here. OG is in my rotation. They can occasionally have a miss but it’s worth a try. Pizza here tends to usually be on the doughy / thicker / floppy side yet is still oddly “thin crust” style? It has a bit of an identity crisis. It can plausibly crack a top 10 pizza in Philly on a good night depending on your preference but it wouldn’t grab a top 5.“
“Love this place....always have. been going there over 30 yrs since Johnny's dad first ran it....God rest his soul.....ND now johnny doing an even better job with it....I have about 4 generations going there...the food is always hot, fresh ND always on POINT...KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK....HIGHLY RECOMMEND..Parking: Plenty“
“This was the highest rated cheesesteak joint near my hotel and I can't say that I was disappointed! The shop is a hole in the wall and it might not look like the best place for cheesesteaks since they've got pizzas by the slice waiting at the counter. After my first bite, I was impressed! The steak was juicy, the "cheese whiz" (melted nacho cheese) gave the sandwich a touch more moisture, and the bun was fresh, soft and chewy. The fries were a good addition that made it a huge and filling meal!“
“Wow this food is fantastic. The wait was really long for counter service and there are only a couple of seats to wait, so I recommend ordering all in advance for pick up.Vegetarian options: It's all vegan. The chik'n and burgers are good. The sweet potato fries made my day. I'm not vegan because I won't give up dairy so I was hesitant to get a vegan milkshake but it was actually pretty good. I'd definitely order it again.Parking: There are parking garages and street meters in the area. It's expensive and can be hard to find a spot when a lot is going on in the theaters.“
“This spot never disappoints whenever in Philly Jim’s is the Best! The chop up the meat put the wiz on or Cooper Sharp and it just melts in your mouth! The light onions and heated bread make the difference and at 12.00 each. Took 2 home with me to reheat in my oven. But nothing beats eating hot once I ordered and sat in the car steaming the windows and it just melts in your mouth soft roll. Chopped ribeye and Chez Wiz.Just the Brst of Philly“
“Staff was warm and welcoming. Food was served quickly and tasted awesome. My wife had the Harvest Burger and sweet potato fries and I had the Harvest Burger with the Jersey Shore Handcut Fries. Just the right serving size and cooked to perfection. Will most definitely go back. If you haven’t been here ….. get here. It’s worth it!!!“
“Merriam-Websters collegiate dictionary defines hospitality as the following:": the activity or business of providing services to guests in hotels, restaurants, bars, etc."Hospitality is the bare minimum of what I received during the shift that Jessica and Kathleen worked. I would say the shift wasn't excellent, I would say it was perfect. I would say that this bar doesn't set the bar for service when these two work, I would say it is the measuring stick that the bar (on a limbo level) needs to be set at.Not only did the (beautiful by the way) bartenders make me feel welcome, they made me feel like family. I honestly couldn't imagine another place I'd rather be on a Monday night. Home? For what? A disappointing evening of marital stress and ultimate regret? I'd rather be here, at a place where like Norm, Sam and Diane in another town many years before established a repor where everybody truly knows your name. And it's not just the service. The food. The creative specials along with the iconic staples keep this bar hip and fresh. 20/10. Chef Alan kills it.But overall, this is the place you need to be. I'll probably come back. I'll probably bring a friend or two. But if I don't, I want my review etched in the halls of history long after we are all gone, this is the place to be. These are the people to see. They say to be the man you have to beat the man - find me a bar better, find me a bar that beats this place, and I'll try it.“
“I eat breakfast from here often from grubhub most time, other times I walk since it's around the corner from me. The food is always on point 3 stars for the atmosphere cause of the location, no parking really lol. But I do recommend this place to people of don't know of it.“
“First impressions are literally everything! This was my first time visiting Cheesy Burger and I must say, the customer service was great! The workers and chef were very friendly. My burger was grilled to perfection and the cheese was cheesin! Lol Plus, they let me sign the wall! ? I’ll be back ??“
“The meat on the sandwiches was sliced thin, which was great. The wrapping paper wasn't tight enough, and one half of a sandwich fell.Service was quick and friendly.Napkins and wet wipes should be provided for customers, especially since the food and drink are placed in paper bags for easy transport.I rated the atmosphere 2 because it was claustrophobically crowded, and overly warm.Kid-friendliness: Even my picky eaters could find a sandwich they liked.“
“Was here for dinner last night. Our very nice server recommended the Caesar salad w/hanger steak and it was excellent. The Guinness was poured perfectly. My friend enjoyed his French Dip sandwich and he is not easily pleased. There are ample TVs to watch the games and there was a full crowd of patrons and a good vibe.“
“This place is so cute! Great, reasonably priced happy hour and lovely ambiance. Great service.Would give 4.5 stars if it let me just because our oysters were shucked a little rough and there was quite a bit of shell in them. However, you can’t beat these oysters in quality, especially for a dollar each. We’ll be back for sure.“
“Love this place. They always receive me with a smile. I go there often to get ice cream and blizzards. This week I bought an ice cream cake from them for my birthday and I asked them to make it galaxy theme. I communicated with the cake decorated and it turned out beautifully. Looks amazing and tastes amazing!“
“We (2) ate here on a Tuesday morning. We had no wait for a table. The service was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the Peach Cobbler French Toast, the Cinnamon Bun French Toast and a side order of bacon. Our server asked what our crispness preference for the bacon was, which I've never been asked before and it was served exactly as requested. The portions are massive and very flavorful and fresh. It is cash only, which we knew going in. Will definitely be returning to try more.“
“We stopped in yesterday to get one drink before heading home after work. I was so entertained by the bartenders Tyler & Daniel that my friend and I stayed for hours! Delicious cocktails with impeccable service, and amazing fried pickles. Literally the best fried pickles I’ve ever had! Definitely going back next week for happy hour!“
“I ordered takeout catering for a 15-person birthday party being held at my home. Tam was easy to work with, very responsive to my needs, and the food was DELICIOUS. We will certainly go in to eat in the future and I'm sure order for other occasions.“
