“Visited Cousin’s Burgers today for their grand opening and it was absolutely worth the wait! The location is perfect and such a fantastic addition to downtown West Chester. As a two-time graduate of West Chester University, I especially loved seeing the WCU-themed murals inside — such a thoughtful and local touch. The staff was incredibly friendly, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area craving a great smash burger. “The DM Sadonna was so welcoming. I passed her when shopping in Whole Foods and was asking about a food item. She kindly let me know she was unsure as she was not a WF employee. Fast forward when I went to order from PLNT she greeted me with a warm smile and hello as she recognized me from earlier. As I was deciding what to get she recommended the chilli and offered a sample. DELICIOUS! While preparing my order she held small conversation with my friend and I and still made a phemomenal burger. “After a long bus ride, I found myself hungry and distraught. I only had fifteen minutes to find dinner, and the closest Dunkin had already closed. Out of the corner of my eye, a red Philly Steak and Pizzeria sign glimmered ethereally, like an angel who departed from heaven to bless the churning city. Pizza would be convenient and filling, I thought to myself as I turned to cross the street and headed toward the restaurant. A kind gentleman greeted me as I entered through the talk glass doors and ordered a slice of pepperoni. This request prompted him to remove a slice from the display and slide it smoothly into the cavernous oven beside him. Its warmth brushed by me as he closed the oven door.

I watched the cars drive and people mosey by; all engulfed in the rush and clamor of the city street.

Pepperoni! The gentleman suddenly called, as I turned to see the warm slice lying gracefully on a paper plate and napkins that he held.

Thank you so much! I said, as I hurriedly grabbed the plate and headed to the door. Of course. Have a great night! He replied as I exited and headed straight back to Jefferson station.
