“Stopped in after a biking through Pennypack Park. Wanted a gyro and picked this place because of the a 5 star rating. The experience exceeded five stars.
The people are incredibly hospitable and friendly.
The food!!! Sooooo goood! Had the lamb Gyro on Mediterranean pita (panini pressed). It was ridiculously delicious. The Moroccan soup slapped. The falafel was crispy and flavorful. The chicken over rice needed no sauce. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and delectable on its own.
The portions were generous. I ate so much and still had plenty of leftovers to take home.
You can tell the people that own this place care about customer experience and quality food.
Will be back for sure.“

Every Michael Solmonov. Every Jose Garces. This is the best meal I have ever eaten in my life. The carrots, the beets, the mushroom taglioli, the tuna tartar, the beef carpaccio tartlet, the duck, the liver mousse, the steak...I could go on. Every single bite was either perfect or nearly so. Both of my daughters and my wife said the same. We talked about our top dining experiences in Tokyo, Paris, St. Petersburg, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Miami, Chicago, there have been so many, many good meals in our life. The chef (owner) greeted our party, provided a brief description of the menu and his concept, and gave us his recommendations. The melintzana, the mediterranean duo, and the meatbolls were great to share. I shared the Paella for two which tasted fresh and authentic. The chef's touch on traditional mediterranean dishes kept true to their origin and added a welcomed personalized flare. We are looking forward to dine there again.“

I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The meat is 100% Halal and you can taste the quality. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. **This is the kind of spot you want to support.
