“I am so happy to go back to the store. They have a really really great selection of seafood. My husband went in the store today and we bought almost $400 of seafood and it was so nice to see one owners there. The owners are Carl and Richard. It was a pleasure to see them there And one more thing that was so great the woman that did work there. I was kind of glad she wasn’t there. I didn’t have to wait outside until she’s finished smoking her cigarettes. I didn’t have to hear the foul language that she talk when customers come in. I just found it very disrespectful, but it’s so good to see the owners in the store and they have this wonderful man that works there part time and his name is Eddie. He is such pleasant to be around. He makes you smile he makes you feel welcome. He’s in training, but he will be a great asset to the Store. I am so glad that she wasn’t there. I think her name was Patty smell like smoke when we walked in the door because she would be smoking outside And probably inside. This is a business and Great seafood store She had people hanging out around the store smoking cigarettes. It’s a business. It’s not a truck stop. I can’t wait to go back to get some wonderful seafood again and see one of the owners. It was a pleasure to have them back. It felt like a breath of fresh air. They cater to everybody they have a wonderful place in Orfield that’s the main warehouse they sell the restaurants they sell to every one. The store is just Sister store, but the main place is the warehouse. What’s not in the store you could probably get it at the warehouse if not, they’ll get it. It is so good. I must say it again. “I recently stopped by Youell’s Oyster House for happyhour, and it turned out to be a great choice. Their happy hour menu is solid and well-priced, especially for seafood.
The Happy Hour Crab Cocktail, Steamed Clams, and Tuna Tartare were all $11 each, which is a really good value considering the quality you typically expect from a long-established seafood place. The selection felt fresh, simple, and flavorful, perfect for a light seafood spread.
For drinks, the Espresso Martini and Blood Orange cocktail were both $10. They were balanced, not overly sweet.
The overall total came out to around $55 for two people during happy hour, which is very reasonable. Service was quick, and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a classic oyster house—casual but polished.
