“Delicious food, great atmosphere. They gave plenty of detailed info about allergies. All local farm to table ?
Dietary restrictions: Their menu marks all gluten free and plant based items and they ask what the table allergies are before putting the order in!“

“Ate dinner there about a week ago. Food was good but their telephone rang at top volume the entire time we were there making it difficult to talk or enjoy our meal. Complained to waitress who said it had to be that way so they could hear in the back for take out orders. The restaurant was far from busy for in house dining so I guess the owner doesn't care about us; only the take out customers! I have eaten here for years and tried to support them during covid but never again.“

“was at nicks tonight. kudos to the cooks. our meals were really good. The only thing that was disappointing was our waitress. she was sitting at the bar with a customer and we were looking for her to serve us some more drinks. service used to be tip top. we will come back for the food, not so much the service.“

“I visited them at their store front location on Linglestown Rd. It was clean and sharp looking. AJ (owner) welcomed me in and made a few recommendations for me to choose. I decided to go with the hot chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese as a side. WOW!! The flavor of the chicken was amazing and the heat was not overbearing. The “coop sauce” was killer! Their Mac n cheese was really good too. It had a unique flavor which I would enjoy all over again. AJ, kudos to the growth of The Potato Coop! From starting out as a food truck with specialty French fries to an entire menu of items. The care of your food and quality is even better!“

“Dietary restrictions: Wife was on a restricted diet due to just getting out of a hospital stay but found the coconut shrimp just what the doctor ordered. ;-)
Parking: There was plenty of free parking and in the back there were handicap spaces close to the deck where we sat out and ate and watched the golfers on the beautiful golf course there. A pleasant experience for us on a delightful evening with my wife who had just gotten released from the hospital and wanted to go out.
Wheelchair accessibility: There was a ramp to get up to the deck in the back but we did not have to use it.“

“I visited the Lemoyne Diner after an overnight stay nearby, and I was very happy with my experience. I enjoyed the "Breakfast Garbage" (their version of the breakfast 'mess' that I enjoyed in other eateries), and it was tasty and enjoyable. The coffee was good, and the server was attentive and took care of everything in a timely fashion. I enjoyed my first visit, and it won't be my last!“

“I got a burger and it was really good but I felt the portion size was small. Despite the size it was filling. I am not one to jump to conclusions... but like 2 hours after eating I had to make a few "Business" Trips to 2nd avenue for "water" leaks.
I did not get the salad bar because it looked... old and lacking. Also kinda overpriced... Best way to describe it is to simply take a salad and leave it out on a table for 4-5 hours. I did go during a slow time so if you go when it is busy it will probably be fresher. Also the salad by is right near the entrance where almost all foot traffic goes... kinda sketchy health wise in my book. Salad Dressings are in a bowl where you scoop it out... kinda sketchy in my book as well... would be better to have pour bottles.
Service was decent, my only complaint is that the some staff were not obvious as they appeared to not be wearing the uniform. When we entered there was no one at the front desk and the person who came up and sat my party had a normal sweatshirt. I am not complaining the staff was not at the desk to greet us, just that when they came to the desk it was a bit confusing like are we being guided to a table by a customer. Maybe give staff Ruby Tuesday Sweatshirts as I understand wearing a regular sweatshirt if you are cold.
It is quite obvious that the main goal of the restaurant is alcohol as the menu makes several references to alcohol. I felt the static (Specials) table menu was a bit to big and took up table space and hit table condiments (salt and pepper)... and complex (was like an entire menu 3-5 pages).
The general menu was also a bit complicated to go through as burgers were on three pages. Pictures were good and what you saw is what you got.
Overall I would rather go to a Red Robin where the portions are a bit bigger and you get endless salad/fries.“
“DJ’s Smoke shack prepared the food for my mother-in-law‘s 100th birthday party celebration. There were 51 attending, and everyone raved about the food. The price was half what I was quoted from Dickies’ Barbecue. We were provided a large container to keep all the food hot until we served it. There was plenty of food for everyone and leftovers to split among families. We had barbecued chicken, pulled pork, three sauces, rolls, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese which tasted just like homemade. I will definitely use this business for parties again.“

“A Wing Lover’s Dream: CSG Delivers Award-Winning Flavor During a recent trip from Maine to visit friends in Pennsylvania, I stumbled upon an unassuming gem: CSG. As a self-proclaimed wing connoisseur with experience at iconic spots like the Anchor Bar and Duff's, I’ve tasted everything from the hottest to the mildest wings out there. But nothing quite prepared me for the magic Chef Matt is crafting at CSG. Tucked away behind a modest exterior, CSG houses something extraordinary. In fact, their "Medium" Buffalo wing took first place nationally at the 2024 annual wing competition at Anchor Bar and Grill—and after tasting it, I can confidently say the judges got it right. The perfectly cooked wing, paired with a balanced, familiar-yet-unique flavor, was nothing short of mind-blowing. Since it was a Wednesday, I opted for the "Wing Flight"—12 wings featuring six chef-selected flavors, presented on a tray with labels to keep track of the lineup. Here’s the breakdown: Unagi – A taste of the Orient and my personal favorite. Incredibly savory with a depth of flavor that left me wanting more. Pepperoni Ranch – A close second. The fusion of salty pepperoni and creamy ranch was out of this world. Bang Bang – Mild but distinctive, with a satisfying wet texture. A solid third place. Golden Mustard BBQ – Smoky, sweet, and just the right amount of spice. This came in fourth but was still a standout. Pho Dust – A well-balanced dry rub with rich flavor, though slightly salty for my taste. Still, a great wing. And then, of course, there’s that award-winning "Medium"—in a class of its own and absolutely deserving of the national crown. We visit PA once or twice a year, and CSG is officially on our must-stop list from now on. If you consider yourself a wing lover—or even if you don't—this place is worth the trip. Chef Matt and his team are redefining what great wings taste like.“
