“1000/5 stars ⭐️ from when it was originally the red raven to now the raven. Looks and feels like a comfortable place to rewind and enjoy. Girls were nice too shoutout to Lucy peaches mocha and Shoutout to my girl KitKat⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. She automatically gifted the raven a 5/5 review through not only my eyes but through my boys too. She bought us rounds gave me a balloon from opening weekend (Saturday, February 4th 2023). She partied with us made sure we were doing fine but the thing that made me feel welcomed the most was word for word she said “I’m making it my job to make sure that you guys have fun and enjoy yourselves tonight.” We were only going to stay an hour or two because of her we stayed till closing. So much love to KitKat from Mike, Matt, and yours truly Nick. The Raven is truly a legend in the making.“

“⸻ First time my wife and I visited for dinner last night , hard to believe since we grew up in the area. We can’t say enough good things about the place. They start you off with both plain and garlic toast, plus a complimentary small dish of pasta with garlic, cheese, and broccoli, nobody does that anymore! The stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, spot on! Both of us ordered the filet, which was a great size and cooked perfectly. The crabmeat and olive oil on top…..Incredible. Sitting there eating we were discussing the chicken and biscuits they are serving tonight - sounds amazing! Drinks and dessert were excellent too, and our server, Kristen, was absolutely on point. Highly recommend“

“We were in town last night for a sports tournament and stumbled upon the Firkin Tavern. With four kids and four adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, especially since the tavern was pretty busy with only one server. At first, we were a little concerned it might be overwhelming, but Mike, our waiter, quickly proved us wrong. He was absolutely amazing! Despite the crowd, he handled everything seamlessly and was extremely attentive. The food also exceeded our expectations, it wasn’t just typical bar food.. everything was delicious and really impressed us. If we’re ever in the area again for a tournament, we’ll definitely be back!“

“I love this place! I work locally in Newtown and people often ask me where to go for lunch and I always recommend Issac Newton’s. Everything is delicious and consistent. This week I order lunch with a coworker and it was a bit pricey for a lunch at work. We ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp which was $22+each and wanted extra dressing on the side for +2.00 each. I will say that Isaac Newton’s has the best Caesar salad around but a little expensive for a work lunch. I’ll let my husband pay for that in the future. Did I mention the seasoned fries? That are amazing with the dipping sauce! I have to get them everytime. Issac Newton’s is my favorite restaurant in Newtown and will always refer people there.“

“Great place! Drove an hour and a half to get here. 110% worth the drive. The South Philly was out of this world! If you get the chance to visit, you won’t be disappointed!“

“Nice bar that has live music and fair prices. Service was quick and friendly and the beer is poured right. Great selection of Irish whiskey and beer. I was particularly impressed with the whiskey selection, you could do a tour of Ireland from your barstool. Good craic.“

“We had cheesesteaks, tater tots and broccoli bites before the Superunknown concert. The cheesesteaks were very good but the broccoli bites were very mushy and the tater tots were overcooked. Superunknown put on an excellent show, so all in all a good night at the Broken Goblet.“

“Turkey Tuesday was amazing. I didn’t choose the Thanksgiving Special but I did get the Turkey Sandwich which was prolly the best turkey sandwich I have ever eaten. From the bun, to the slightly melted cheese to well the main event the home cooked turkey just wow! Oh and to slam it home the gravy to dip it in added another level of awesomeness. I travel for my work and it’s so nice to find a cool spot with amazing food. Plus the place smells amazing with all of the homemade meats being cooked. I am from Ohio and we don’t have any type of joint like this @ where I live. Wish we did. If you’re in town stop in you won’t be disappointed.“

“We were in town for a night and stopped by Patrick’s on Tuesday 3/4. It was a classic Irish bar and we were warmly greeted by the hostess Carolyn, who was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Our waitress was very attentive and gave us menu recommendations that turned out great . The food was delicious, especially their “famous” wings. We’ll be back next time in the Berkshires.“

“Sending out a big thank you to Wilson’s pub. It was my sisters 60th birthday party we were supposed to celebrate at another bar who promised to reserve tables to accommodate her family and friends 30 of us . When we arrived, they told us that they could not reserve all of the tables that they said earlier they would.. no apology no nothing. Needless to say we left that bar flooded Wilson’s with approximately 25 people. They gave us the whole side room. Drinks were great. We ordered food and I believe the cook brought it right out to us his self.. great bartenders great food ….they could not have been nicer or more accommodating would definitely recommend Wilson’s to anyone“
