“Absolutely love this place! (To be fair, I've never been.) But the fact that they charge for FROZEN WATER and not the more popular BIGGER SHOT (like every other bar and restaurant does. ..ugh!) makes me want to rush on down to PA and get this top grade water and see for myself. How dare some of the other riff raff complain about an "on the rocks" pour and not just simply celebrate this purest of pure and tastiest of tasty ice that cost $4.50. MY GOD!!! What rock do these miscreants crawl out from under? Next time, I will be sure to order EXTRA "on the rocks." I want my spirit to swirl around and be diluted by this amazing ice made from the nectar of the God's, and available only at this excellent establishment. Please, Halligan's Bartender, do not do the unthinkable and give me extra alcohol. That would be unimaginable. I most definitely want less and to be charged more. Good vibes all around then! “I just joined Five Iron Fishtown and I love it. The location is great and I love the vibes of the inside. The hours are perfect as I generally go to use the simulators before work in the morning and work on my swing or play a round. I’ve also had a few lessons with Senior Golf Pro Matt Davis and I can already tell my swing has gotten better. With the technology they have and following Matt’s direction I feel like I’ll be performing a lot better once I get on an actual course. Highly recommend.“

“I had a fantastic visit to Yards Brewing Company, and it was one of the highlights of my time in Philadelphia. The brewery has a spacious, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a casual meal. I ordered a flight of beers to sample a few different styles along with a burger and fries. The beers were fresh and flavorful, and the food was just as impressive, with generous portions and great taste.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend beers based on my preferences. The only small downside was that it got pretty busy later in the evening, so there was a bit of a wait to order another round, but the lively atmosphere made the time pass quickly.

My tip for first-time visitors is to order a beer flight before choosing a full pint. If you're hungry, pair your drinks with one of the house sandwiches or burgers—they go together perfectly.

“When there are no events, a great place to decompress. Staff are friendly and take care of you. The burgers are banging, the beers are icy breezy and the frozen bacardis are a vacation at home. Stellar staff as always.“

“We are working our way through Manyunk restaurants and Bar Jawn had some excellent reviews. It was much smaller than I expected but the Bourdain signs and country music told me we were in the right place. Cooper Sharp fried cheese squares with fresh sauce were outrageously good. Cheesesteak with Cooper sharp and cherry peppers did Philly proud. Loved the seeded roll too. Definitely will be back. Service was friendly and attentive. A really great Sunday afternoon.“

“A small, quaint and friendly bar with some great drinks and even better prices. Been here a few times and it's super chill. The bartenders are friendly and the drink deals are off the hook. Visited one Sunday and got a whiskey flight, while my wife had watermelon martini. We enjoyed our drinks in the serene outside area that resembles a scene out of a movie, which they share with a few other local vendors. Nice place to visit when you want a drink without the long wait and noise of a regular neighborhood bar.“

The food menu isn't big, but have a good number of appetizers and sandwich options and they were all satisfactory during my multiple visits. I go weekly to hang with friends, watch the games, catch up with the neighborhood, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Wide range of people at the bar, it’s very welcoming. Highly recommend this gem!

$1.50 to play pool - put a quarter down on the table to play. Some people are more competitive but overall everyone is there to have fun!

Sometimes they have live music with local artists but just follow them on socials for postings, Wednesdays they have trivia, and they have weekly food deals.

“It was kinda dead on a Wednesday, but after 3 bars and getting hungry stopped at Cheers Cafe on Westmoreland st in Port Richmond...for a pint...early enough they served food. Had a pint and some soup and OMG!!! Soup was amazing..made from scratch and was freaking delicious. Didn't even want to drink anymore wanted to just keep eating...Ordered crab balls to go...he he he!!! Then ordered whatever they had left with the soup...I am so enjoying my day off with the soup!!!!
