“Absolutely love this place! (To be fair, I've never been.) But the fact that they charge for FROZEN WATER and not the more popular BIGGER SHOT (like every other bar and restaurant does. ..ugh!) makes me want to rush on down to PA and get this top grade water and see for myself. How dare some of the other riff raff complain about an "on the rocks" pour and not just simply celebrate this purest of pure and tastiest of tasty ice that cost $4.50. MY GOD!!! What rock do these miscreants crawl out from under? Next time, I will be sure to order EXTRA "on the rocks." I want my spirit to swirl around and be diluted by this amazing ice made from the nectar of the God's, and available only at this excellent establishment. Please, Halligan's Bartender, do not do the unthinkable and give me extra alcohol. That would be unimaginable. I most definitely want less and to be charged more. Good vibes all around then! “We are working our way through Manyunk restaurants and Bar Jawn had some excellent reviews. It was much smaller than I expected but the Bourdain signs and country music told me we were in the right place. Cooper Sharp fried cheese squares with fresh sauce were outrageously good. Cheesesteak with Cooper sharp and cherry peppers did Philly proud. Loved the seeded roll too. Definitely will be back. Service was friendly and attentive. A really great Sunday afternoon.“

“Great Sports Bar! Plenty of TVs in their main bar area and both dinning rooms. I would absolutely recommend you get the burger. It was packed full of greens, with the lettuce sauteed onions and grilled eggplant, but balanced it nicely with a big meaty patty and delicious house sauce. The fries were also exceptional, potentially double fried and thick cut, these steak fries were crispy and the perfect compliment to the burger. Staff was friendly and attentive and the neighborhood was cute!“

“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. “Just got home from an AMAZING dinner celebrating my father in laws 70th birthday and the 50th wedding anniversary for he and his wife. The service was impeccable and our server, Taylor was fantastic, friendly, understanding and accommodating the entire time! She couldn’t have been better! Made the entire experience a happy & memorable one! The person that helped out, Tyler was also great! “Recently tried DOHO when when trying to order tacos from our usual places on Cinco de Mayo but the kids didn't want to wait 2+ hours and couldn't have been more impressed with this new hidden gem in Mt. Airy. Creative dishes and everything we ordered was delicious. Only tried about half the options between our family of 5 so definitely need to order again soon!“

“We love Dig Inn! Stumbled upon it a few months ago and have been back multiple times since. It’s both healthy and delicious dining and we like almost everything we’ve tried. I love their crispy chicken thighs, sweet potatoes, and charred broccoli, with either pesto or garlic aioli sauce. It’s great for when you don’t want to cook but want to still eat healthy. The restaurant has lots of seating and we recently tried their soda fountain, which was good! Highly recommend checking them out!!“

“Came in from traveling - they found me and my wife and my 4 children comfortable seating. Fast friendly service. She came over multiple times to check in. When the kids were super load, she was quick to say it was ok and they were not bothering anyone. The ambiance was very inviting and the food was beyond delicious - plentiful portions. She had 4 other tables, but she made all the tables feel like we was top priority. She’s very amazing with children and you can tell she really loves her job. “A small, quaint and friendly bar with some great drinks and even better prices. Been here a few times and it's super chill. The bartenders are friendly and the drink deals are off the hook. Visited one Sunday and got a whiskey flight, while my wife had watermelon martini. We enjoyed our drinks in the serene outside area that resembles a scene out of a movie, which they share with a few other local vendors. Nice place to visit when you want a drink without the long wait and noise of a regular neighborhood bar.“
