I only ate French fries at my first visit having brunched earlier in Manayunk and they also were just as delicious. The Taphouse bacon burger was divine. Just the best mix of crispy edges, gooey cheese, fresh & delicious tomatoes (rare for January in the NE! ) and possibly a common , happy problem to have, SO much food. I enjoyed every bite & sip & our server for a fair sized group of more than 15 was friendly, efficient and very well organized.“

“Stopped By Wilson’s Pub today for a Sunday lunch appetizer and drink with my buddy. We ordered hot and honey wings, fried mushrooms w/ranch, and french fries. All of are good was super tasty. Our Waitress/ Bartender was super friendly, had a good attitude, and provided top notch service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re passing through or local (right off 295 in Gibbstown, NJ.)“

“Castle Roxx is my go to stop. Every time I come I have a great experience. All of the bar tenders always are amazing and work so hard to make my experience the best in Manayunk. Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

I ordered their take on fish & chips: sesame-crusted cod with a miso caramel glaze, paired with garlic creamed kale (I never realized kale could taste this good) and purple sweet potatoes. It’s the kind of dish where everything just makes sense together and I legitimately can't stop thinking about it.

“Murphy’s Tavern is honestly one of my favorite local hangout spots! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by super friendly staff who always seem happy to see you. They’re quick with service, always checking in, and just genuinely nice people who make the whole place feel really welcoming.

The vibe here is super chill — great for grabbing a drink after work or spending a weekend night out with friends. They’ve got games outside AND inside which makes it even better when the weather’s nice. It’s so fun to just hang out, play a few rounds, and enjoy the atmosphere.

The crowd is always friendly too, and there’s this nice community feel to the place that you don’t get everywhere. Between the good drinks, beer draft selection, great people, and the outdoor setup, Murphy’s Tavern is the kind of spot you end up staying at longer than you planned.

Service: Wow! Amazing!
Food: Delish and well presented! We had pizza, Bavarian pretzel, BLT, wings wine and beer. Great prices which does not break your wallet.
Atmosphere: Great local bar but a tad too dark at the booths. They have billiards tables as well as a spot for a DJ. Highly recommend and definitely coming back.“

“I booked the Summer Decay Day show at Century and, I will be reaching out later this week about booking the Fall Decay Day because Century was an amazing venue and the show went super well. I can't thank Century enough for providing a place where we can all be weirdos together. We all had such a great time at the show and it felt great being able to pay all the acts at the end of the night (Century doesn't touch your money). The drinks were cheap, the sound was good, and the pit was bumping. It was amazing performing again and I couldn't have picked a better place to do the my first show back. “This place is a good ole' neighborhood corner bar in Grays Ferry that people like to wind down after a long day or week of work. They're mainly all neighbors who know each other but their are always new neighbors moving in. Krunch Inn is a great Irish Bar to watch sports and sometimes has live entertainment on special occasions. Its what they call "A place where people meet"“

“A friend and I went to The Greeks to watch the Phillies game and one of the worker that was behind the bar were being RUDE to us. We were sitting at the bar and (not even) 4 minutes into the game. He come to us and said; if you guys going to sit here, you have to order, than he added, I’m being serious. My friend and I both know that, but he DID NOT have to be rude about it by adding “I’m serious” at the end of that statement. Before the game even started, I told the other worker that was behind the bar that I would order a few minutes into the game.“

He nailed it- made his own bread - hard seeded and the steak and cheese and onions were great
He said only 5% can eat the whole thing - we agreed- leftover for lunch
The fries were crinkle fries and were also awesome
