“Omg! These people can throw down! Let me be more specific, chef Troy will bring you Joy make you go home and use your toy! That food was so good I had to rhyme on that one!We have come here at least five times already and each time we've come the food has been awesome sauce!I always get the braised short ribs, boneless... No fat lingering... All melt in your mouth, then combined with the mash potatoes and gravy! Chile cheese!I know I sound like a fat girl, but lawd have mercy!Today I had the green bean with my meal... Let me speak on that as well! I had to pace myself because I didn't want to leave them delicious green beans on that plate!My partner always gets the lemon thyme roasted chicken breast with rice pilaf and broccoli... Comfortable beds and most of the staff is awesome!! Mr Craig is a delightful and humorous dude and we will most def Always Make this our restaurant and hotel of choice (Sheraton Great Valley) in Frazer, PA!!!!“

“The food was fantastic! I recommend the calamari for an appetizer. Prime rib special was out of this world. It paired well with their signature old fashioned. To finish things off, I enjoyed the apple strudel dessert. The service was wonderful. Food was perfectly prepared and executed. Same goes for the drinks. I really enjoyed date night dining with my wife here.“

“I just ate here tonight for the first time in at least ten years and it's even better than I remember from coming here as a kid. We went for my dad's 70th birthday and though it was busy as all hell our server (I think her name was Brianne) was awesome and totally on point. My brother better have tipped well.I had a Buffalo chicken steak which was amazing, my only complaint is that the Buffalo sauce was a little light and the fried onions were only slightly browned. Fortunately there was a delicious habañero hot sauce bottle on the table that made the steak mostly perfection.I'm not at all disappointed and will be returning.“

“Such a great theater! I was there last night for the first time to see John Oates perform. It's a beautiful building. The staff was so friendly and told us all about the theater. The sound in the theater room was amazing and there isn't a bad seat in the house. I'll definitely be back for more shows!“

“I had an excellent experience with a group who came here for a social event. Rich knows his stuff and was extremely engaging during the entire event. The tour was very informative and all of the drinks we had were great. I really enjoyed the rye whiskey and bourbon but everything offered during the tasting was very good.“

“I visited this place with some of my friends, which is located in the main area of Berwyn. I see a lot of folks who seem to be close groups and locals watching NBA at the time. They have a good collection of beer and nice place to catch some games or spend time with your friends. The service is fast and staff is very attentive. They seem to have an outdoor spot for the service. The parking is challenging at times. Great place. Check it out.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here a couple years back, and recently returned for an anniversary dinner. Everything was as great as our first time, if not even better. The food is delicious, specifically the filet, asiago chicken, and meatloaf, I'm drooling just thinking about them! All 20+ people we initially brought raved about it and the service was tremendous. Not going to get a better meal for your money in the area. Can't wait to go back!“

“So, my dad/hero (RIP) and I used to predominantly haunt Becco’s … and Maloney&Porcelli’s + Cité in Hell’s Kitchen. (RIP the last two restaurants ? as well.) Spoto’s in 33418 and Barrio Star in San Diego … this seems like the oddest review. But my point is that I haven’t felt compelled to write anything until I had two whiskey sours and a cheesesteak at the Square Bar, today. In fact, I haven’t gone to many restaurants/bars at all since my dad passed in 2020. To come into such an awesome environment with banging food and encounter two awesome employees; (didn’t catch the name of the killer cheesteak maker-queen) and Gretchen. The drinks—environment—food—and two ladies working there, helped me to feel comfortable, like I wanted to stay, and forget any sads for the time being. Highly recommend x’s a millionIf my dad was still around … (again, miss you Dad), and we randomly took root in the g reater philly area? Square Bar would be a staple. Hands down. “Wonderful restaurant with a lot of space and good food! We went for restaurant week and got the alligator sausage, lobster pot pie, and the lemon mascarpone cake and everything was delicious! The waiters were also very nice and checked in with us often. Highly recommend!“

Little messy burger (the way it should be) cooked to what I asked. Nice spot to stop when on the SRT. They did have outdoor areas, both open and covered, and allow your pets to join you. I believe I even saw menu items for your canine companion.“

“This is a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. Fantastic food, even better drinks, and they are all so friendly and supportive of the community! I love to get the Green Goddess Bowl (with the perfectly cooked salmon), then splurge of either a sweet martini or a homemade dessert. “We're visiting from out of State. We found The Flying Pig by accident. Took a wrong turn and got lost. Turned out it was the BEST thing that happened. It's absolutely awesome ambiance, atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious! We are beyond happy with the entire experience. “Great service and atmosphere. Hubby had the chicken sandwich and upgraded fries (old bay and a side of cheese sauce), which he said was good, I had the BLT. Per usual just about anywhere, the BLT was lacking in the amount of bacon. I removed it from one side and added it to the other, so I ate half a sandwich. Bacon wasn’t cooked to my liking. I would definitely go back and get something different. The burger that passed by my table looked delicious!“

“Most of the food was excellent. Husband ordered the lamb and was in heaven. I got the fried chicken sandwich which I found to be just ok. Too much bread and not enough chicken. Every place in town has a fried chicken sandwich and this one was towards the bottom, so skip it. We also tried the rib fingers and they were very good!!“

“I CAME for the MORELS and FIDDLEHEADS, STAYED for the SALMON..I'm a sucker for these Spring foraged treats, so this dish caught my eye while I browsed menus for a special dinner; BIG GLORY BAY SALMON fiddleheads, morel mushroom farro, gooseberries, tarvido, maple tarragon mustard It was a beautiful dish. I regret not taking a picture. Gooseberries are awesome. We were celebrating our 28th anniversary and I noted that while making the reservation. It was sweet that everyone there knew and offered good wishes. I didn't plan on reviewing, but the salmon was SO GOOD, I don't think I could eat in anywhere else ever again. Even my fish hating partner approved. He thoroughly enjoyed his well done filet with a side of the PeeWee potatoes. The generous portions left no room for dessert and I took home the remains of my dish. We're old and like an early dinner on Saturday. So this 4pm reservation was perfect for us. Yes the tables are small. It's an old stone building, but we practically had the place to our selves at this early hour.“

“Just a small local bar where the folks are friendly and bartenders are awesome. Shuffle board and pool tables with a great playlist on the jukebox! If you're not looking to dress up but just want to go grab a drink and relax, this is the place. The signs all over will have you in stitches . The restrooms are clean and beer is always cold!! Great little and I mean little dive bar with enough food and booze to satisfy most blue collar people like myself, many regulars, great conversations music,. One of the last places that even give ya the last shot in the bottle, and you can smoke . I never smoked, but I can deal, they know not to blow it my way.“

Between three of us vegetarian dining at the place, we could only get 2 options for which 1 they were able to make it vegetarian. “We stopped in on a Friday night for live music after having dinner somewhere else so we didn’t eat anything. We sat at a small table near the stage and next to the pool tables. Our server was friendly and quick. The place wasn’t too full when we first got there around 8:30p but after the band started at 9p it filled up quickly. The bar was packed. Our server handled the drinks for us and that was nice. We had a lot of fun. People were dancing and some dude in a cowboy hat was putting his hat on people and it was pretty fun to watch. Everyone in there seemed to be having a good time. From what our server said, it was busy for a Friday and Saturdays are usually packed.From the road it looks like a convenience store and even once you walk inside you can’t really see how big it is until you walk around the bar.Parking was easy however I imagine if they are busier on Saturday night it might get tight. Bathrooms were somewhat clean- probably get a lot of traffic. Check their band schedule and stop in. I heard they do line dancing too.“

“I want to like Ludwig's more but 4 is max I can do. Service is hit and miss. Last night it felt like I was at a diner - server was abrupt and moving the dishes fast and hard...told we should keep our dirty knives. We wondered why did we have to reach up to our plates being taken away to keep our dirty knives with no place clean on table to put them. Can't we just have new knives? I mean the bill was close to $100 for two people. Also, I love the home made potato chips, onion soup, hamburgers good, the salmon is usually very good. But some entrees and specials have been misses. So I just stick to the usual. I loved the tuna poke tacos and had them over the weekend and they were great. -- but felt last night they were a little red. Not left to marinate as long as I thought it should...and today I have pretty bad gas. Probably totally unrelated but these kinds of occurrences stick with you and make you think twice about venturing off the tried and true. I also miss being served bread and butter on the table. They cut corners on stuff that takes away the feeling of being cared for. But...I will keep going because I feel lucky to have them out in the middle of nowhere...so we don't have to drive far to relax with a nice meal and a glass of wine. 4 stars is the rating they deserve.“

“A quality neighborhood bar. Saturday at 2 PM and the place is packed with some people not having seats. Seemed like an early rush for a bar. I don't know of a game going on today.The bartender at the time was particularly very friendly and I could tell he gave off the same vibe to everyone. As I left this bar with a friend, one of the (assumedly) local patrons was telling us we should've purposely nudged a guy seated so that we could more easily leave the bar instead of slowly crossing over. That particular patron looked back at the first guy very annoyed. The first guy was probably already at least semi-drunk and just kept trying to go on with his "joke".Another thing that surprises me is that this bar is closed all day Sunday and that they open at 8 AM according to the Yelp page and stay open until 2 AM. Those are mad hours This coming Sunday, there was a big game with Eagles versus the 49ers. I've never heard of a bar open so early in the morning and not open on Sundays. Not open on Sunday because a lot of regular church-goers in the area, or the staff need a break and maybe they would want to go to church? Reminds me of Chik-Fil-A without the super late hours and instead of family friendly style food and drink and chicken icon, booze instead.There were no smokers when me and my friend were there. I was thankful for that. It looks like PA started to ban smoking in all bars in 2021. Personally, don't miss it! I already have a hard enough time breathing and sleeping without being around that stuff!No food at this establishment. Quality drinks on tap and reasonable prices. Nice staff. “Came here for happy hour only! We were eager and early to come grab drinks and Fenix did not disappoint. Being the first ones at the bar the lovely bartender greeted us and let us know that margaritas were $6, wine $5, and beer $4 and food was also on special. The bar is connected to Molly's pub next door and they couldn't be any more different when it comes to atmosphere. There was also a musician playing live jazz which gave the place a nice mellow vibe. We ordered the espressotini martini and the vesper martini and they were both pretty good and just the right amount of strong to get us in happy hour mode. I would come back to the bar as the service made us feel welcome and we had a great convo with the bartender, that's always a plus. They also have CBD infused cocktails which I thought was pretty awesome but at $16 I was not ready to try just yet.“

I ordered the Grilled Grouper with prosciutto which was draped atop a hefty serving of rich asparagus risotto and a dainty amount of sweet orange sauce. I absolutely destroyed the entire meal (although I only had one spoonful of the decadent rice, since I'm currently keto) it was so amazing. My date got the Seared Ahi Tuna, which came with zucchini noodles (I probably should have got this low carb, high protein meal in retrospect ^^; ) and a sweet, yet more complex General Tso-type sauce/glaze. We were both completely fulfilled by the end of the meal, not just by the food but the relaxed, repurposed brick house atmosphere and attentive, friendly (and ridiculously beautiful??) waitress. They even had a full gluten-free menu, so I am definitely going to return!“

“The restaurant definitely deserves its own review! The staff are fantastic and super personable. My wife and I were here for 31 days in April/May of 2022, and we had breakfast here almost every morning. We try to stay all-natural with food, and they were willing to work with us. We provided an organic Olive Oil spray, and they would use that on our omelets. They never made us feel like a hassle or burden, and we loved getting to know them, especially Rhonda and Trupti! At times they had nice Chobani Yogurt, and they always had great apple/orange juice options. They also had Franks hot sauce and cream cheese packs that were SOOOO GOOD on the omelets :)Can't wait to go back and enjoy the food and friends again!“
