“Went there this morning with my FIL, we each got 2 eggs hash browns sausage and toast. My FIL also got a piece of cake to go. The bill came to $26, same thing at Kings sans the cake comes to $22., so same pricing. The food was great and quite a lot. We had a young girl as our waitress, greeted us as soon as we walked in, checked on us throughout our meal, never had to ask for anything. We will definitely be back.“

Everyone knows Burrell Inn is the best.It's connected to a bar so you get some cigarette smell, but still worth it.This last time we ate outside in the little courtyard. It's cozy out there and fun. I could barely pull myself together to cook for my family. I was able to feed my family of four at the @knead cafe, not only with the option to pay, but fair priced good food and with a supportive staff crew that entertained my toddlers. They kept my kids laughing while I could sit there, cry, and just have a moment of emotions. The staff invited me back that night and gave me 4 meals for free that covered dinner and helped me check something on my to do list. I believe this was a Thursday. Not only do I recommend tasty food, but I recommend their caring soft environment. Their loving staff, their warm hugs and genuine care for the community. Forever thankful for The Knead Cafe.“

“We ended up at Saxion by a search in Google Maps for restaurants nearby. It's tucked in on a side road and had no idea it existed! When we walked in, we went left to the bar and decided to go back and to the right to the restaurant area. The staff was super busy with a big party but made sure we knew they were on the way to wait on us. The waitress apologized immediately for the wait upon arrival at our table. We understood and explained that it was perfectly understandable. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The buffalo chicken salad came in a large bowl (see photo). The buffalo chicken strip appetizer came with 3 pieces of perfectly cooked chicken, crunchy and drenched in buffalo sauce that I can say was very tasty!“

“Johnathan provided catering for the luncheon following my husbands funeral. Johnathan gave us so many choices for dishes, and since the funeral happened during a Friday in lent, he even provided meatless options for those people. We also had a member of the family who was gluten free and Johnathan made sure that we were aware of what she was able to eat even to the level of detail that he accounted for spices that contained gluten. We would strongly suggest visiting his restaurant or using his catering services.“

“Attended a funeral at RJ Slaters funeral home, 12 of us went there between viewing times and had great service and the food order was done quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food and the people from Virginia never even seen a whole chicken wing. It was a great weather day and a few of us even walked the block to get there..“

“Always love Bob's. I've never been to the other locations, but the Tarentum location has never been a disappointment. Staff is always friendly & helpful. I always get the chicken salad (not Bob's way). In fact, this is one of my favorite chicken salads! I do not like celery, or anything else that crunches when you bite it, so I love that the 'crunchies' are chopped tiny, so they don't really crunch when I eat it. My husband has tried several (all Bob's way), and all have been good.“

You have a great brewery right in town (Allusion). Get some of their beers! It would have added to the meal but not a big deal. Just a tip. People live craft beer with dinner. I enjoyed the meal. “They work hard very rarely they need to change the carbonation in the beer but that just means you get one on the house and if anything is not cooked to your exact taste no-questions-asked they will make sure you're happy lovely people hard-working local business owners

“Took my 4 year old granddaughter there for her birthday because she wanted chicken noodle soup. Even though the soup was great, there weren't the typical big noodles that kids like. When the waitress came and I told her that, she brought a Togo container where she fished out all the big noodles. My granddaughter was so happy. Now that's what I call great service and a great waitress! My meal was fantastic as always!“
