“We usually have a late lunch on Saturday afternoons around 2 and there is not a wait. Food is great and you get A LOT of it for the price. Their fish/shrimp basket feeds my mother for at least 3 meals; and if two of us get a pizza, we still have leftovers. Service is always good.“

“Such a warm and inviting, home style restaurant in the heart of Bellevue on Lincoln Ave. Upstairs is the bar / restaurant which has a delicious menu! Around back they have a speakeasy- typically live jazz music- with a cover but such cool vibes and great music!! Street parking or paid parking lots available- make sure to have your quarters!“

“The Bulldog is an all around lovely experience. The food- absolte 10/10. Staff 10/10. Drinks 10/10. I'd like to keep this a secret but it's too good to not share. Not to mention, the owner is a gem and deserves every bit of the business.“

“A nice neighborhood bar. All of the staff are very friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Lots of tv’s to watch a game. Mostly domestics on draft with a few crafts. Their smash burger is one of the best I’ve had anywhere in a long time. For the price, it absolutely can’t be beat (hint - go on a Wednesday). I’m telling you can’t get a better burger for the price anywhere.“

“Was recommended to try the fish. Fried well, plentiful portion. Cocktail and tartar sauce was great. The staff really shined, on the spot keeping the customers organized and moving. Was pretty busy at 5:15ish on Friday afternoon. Wait was about 1 beer long.Would definately try the rest of the menu if I manage to make it back to this neck of the woods.“

“Wow, you have to check out this little tavern in the North Hills of Pittsburgh! They have the meats, smoked meats that is. They also have quite a selection of Bourbons as well! The staff is so friendly and they host live music! We love it here.“

“Chill restaurant. Big bar area downstairs. Good knowledgeable & friendly service. Checked back on us often.Took all the "flame burger" toppings and put them on brisket instead of a burger patty. Would eat it again in a heart beat. Crazy juicy good brisket.Mac n cheese is super creamy and not too heavy. Loved everything!“
“Wonderfully cozy little bar. Christine welcomed us with arms wide open. She was an absolute pleasure! Christine got us drinks, took our order and helped us gamble smiling the whole time! Her energy was wonderfully kind! Nora and Jesse from New York will definitely be back to visit! Friday and Sunday!“

“I have always wanted to visit this place after hearing so much about it from all of my friends that live here in town I was pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere there's a lot of places I go to alone where it feels weird to sit there alone but I was more than happy to observe all of the boisterous and happy groups of people just living their best lives love the atmosphere love the beers and I hope to be back someday“

“Just a great local bar with great staff. Rachel is very attentive and friendly. My favorite thing is their ABCs of beer. They have a beer for each letter of the alphabet and keep a card on file for you. Once you complete all 26 you get a shirt.“

“We have been here several times over the past year and the food and service has always been the same-- great! We have never had a bad experience or meal. We have also had take out and love the special holders for tacos that keep them upright. All of employees have been polite and friendly. We have not experienced any of them acting stressed or in a rush. Mercedes is such a great bartender. She helps to select the best drafts with her knowledge of each one. I love it when someone knows their IPA's! She is also a delight to talk to and makes us feel so welcome. The happy hour lasts until 7pm! This is a very good and clean neighborhood place, and it's certainly no dive bar in the traditional sense.“

“Was there Saturday evening with four friends. First time. This is a very welcoming and friendly place. The service was excellent both at the bar and at the table. We were very well taken care of. And everyone loved their food. The soup of the day was Wedding Soup. It was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu items that I couldn't decide on. Highly recommemded!Parking: In addition to on-street metered parking, there is a metered lot across the street with lots of space. And it's cheap.“
“Love this uber local dive! Great pours, reasonable prices, and a fun crowd. I was nervous to go since I just moved here but everyone was a gem. Bring cash!!! No cards here. You can sit inside at the tiny bar or outside at a picnic table. Will def be back!“

“This is seriously one of the best “Pittsburgh” blue-collar, working folks bar and restaurant! The owners are some of the best people you’ll ever meet and the staff are amazing! The drinks are awesome and inventive, the beer selection is one of the best in the city (including multiple ciders) and the food is just WOW. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! They have amazing bands too, including OSPREY! They play all the great songs and really cool hard rocking originals. Big Mike’s ROCKS on all levels!“

“My husband and I stopped around 7:00 pm on Saturday evening. It was busy but the service was excellent. Our food order was taken quickly and our order was quick.i thought with all the people it would take a lot longer. I had the Ruben and my husband had the fish sandwich. Both were hot and delicious. I would recommend the food to everyone. I was disappointed I was not made aware of the convenience fee until I paid the bill. If cash was better I would’ve paid in cash if I was made aware of this policy. I also had the Cinterlands Porter. Excellent draft. But did not expect to pay $7 a draft. Wish I would’ve known the price before. It was my fault for not checking before I ordered 2 of them. But still a remarkable dinner.“
“First time there attending a Bikes & BBQ event. I enjoyed my experience there and looking forward in returning for future events.ATMOSPHERE- Dim lit, wood den style interior with witches, alcohol & biker theme memorabilia decor. Patrons were friendly, social and I would even go to say eager to mingle.FOOD- I ordered meatloaf & gravy, than a side of wings. The Meatloaf & mashed potato blew me away. But I was more surprised on the meat & veggie soup I got [stew]. Wow! The smoked wings had cinnamon, sugar dry rub which I find disgusting and quite insulting on poultry so not a fan. However, I gave them out to other patrons at the bar and they seemed to say great things. So, perhaps it's a local thing? ? I also ordered an Italian Hoagie to-go which was upsetting later that night when I opened the container to eat.It was less Italian and more a basic "Ham & Cheese" with a few sad shred hairs of lettice, reminiscent of the ones identical to what I got on Highschool field trips box lunches. The fries were overly greasy & limp tall tale sign of freezer burn. But, nonetheless very interested to go back and try other menu items.PRICE- Average bar prices. For outside the city of Pittsburgh.PARKING- Great alley for two lanes of bikes. [I hope someone brushes gravel from initial entrance in the future, though as it is a hazard]STAFF- Extremely friendly, helpful, and respectful [hellos & thanks yous]. They aren't fast paced like many pubs in the region so you're going to require some patience.Overall I would rate this 4.8 out of 5 on my first encounter and openly encourage others to experience this spot.“

“I first remembered going to Willees before I started school. Recently, I had a chance to go back. Perhaps I am a romantic old fool, but I still love everything about this place! I live in Denver now, but I still go back there for the Fish sandwich! 58 years and counting!Kid-friendliness: My grandson was welcomed as warmly as his great-grandmother, so it made for a very fun evening!“
“My boyfriend, and I live and reside in Florida now. He attends the University of Florida. However I am from the Pittsburgh area originally, and we stopped by to visit my mother for Thanksgiving, and for her birthday in the Fox Chapel Area. We had a long, and fantastic day visiting Falling Water which is a national landmark, and is located close to Greensburg PA. We were getting tired but after we ate dinner I decided to see if my old friend DJ was in the bar because I used to like going out there with him when I still lived in Pittsburgh. Sure enough there he was, and we reconnected immediately. My boyfriend ended up meeting him, and we had a fantastic time playing pool. There are many other activities to do at Krazy Karen's such as Jenga as well which makes it unique from other bars. Now this is the best part. I never knew the owner Karen, but she happened to be there that night with her wonderful wife Linda. They were the sweetest people; they came right up and introduced themselves to us. They truly made us feel so special, and welcomed. The positivity and radiant energy that came from them both is a very rare quality to have in people nowadays. We even exchanged phone numbers, and I promised I would write this review in the morning. Please if you want to find a more unique, and different bar experience than what you are used to, Krazy Karen's is for you!“

“The breakfast menu is so, so good! The avocado toast was uniquely prepared and absolutely delicious. Potatoes were seasoned well and crispy. My son had the hot soppressata sandwich and said it was the best breakfast sandwich he’s had. Breakfast burrito - 2 thumbs up! Can’t wait to try some of the other menu items.“

“Great place to go. Definitely a favorite but no chance at 5 stars. It’s relatively inexpensive and the food is usually very good. The staff are all real nice. It’s a quirky place regular folks will love. If you’re picky or finicky go somewhere else. Tuesdays are wing night and the wings are good.“

“I remember coming here when I worked right next door at Everydry !!! This place was amazing and had some of the best bar food I've ever had !!! It was a smoking bar back than, not sure if it still is. I've moved away from the area and haven't been here in years. The staff, service and atmosphere were spot on !!! Such the cool out of the way bar that you gotta check out“

“I have eaten at Mike's about 10 times since moving here a couple of months ago. It is definately a neighborhood bar. They have the best cheese burger and made from scratch fries that I have found so here so far. The beer has been cold every time and the food and drinks prices are decent. The bartenders are friendly. It is a non smoking bar with an outside deck. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a neighborhood place to eat, drink and watch the game.“

“You get so much food for your money! It was great too! Our broccoli was a lil cold. However, the salmon was cooked perfectly, and the carrot cake slice was like the size of your face! I was there with a party of about 15 and our waiter was super friendly, professional, and handled it like a breeze. I wish I could remember his name... smh. 2/25 Young guy, dark brown hair and mustache. Televisions all over the place, nice sized bar area... super casual. I haven't been there for live music, but I imagine it's great on top of everything else.“

“OMG!! The food is so delicious here! Everything I've tried has been amazing - black & gold wings, short rib grilled cheese, Mushroom risotto, fried calamari, Mushroom & brie bisque, etc, etc. Very diverse menu. I cannot say enough- Hal's is almost always my #1 pick.Vegetarian options: Good variety of meatless choices. One of my favorite meatless meals is the seitan appetizer with fiery raspberry wing sauce. Any of the wing causes can be picked, like garlic parm, EW9, black & gold, ...“

“The menu was pretty much mostly typical bar food with 1-2 exceptions and I feel like if they became more creative with the meal options it would greatly improve the menu. The onion rings we shared have a VERY delicious batter and "petal sauce" and Iwould highly recommend them. It was all reasonably priced for today's economy, clean, and has a lot of large TVs which would be good for going out to watch a game. Our service was amazing, our short haired female server made sure to check on us at appropriate times without bothering us excessively and as a former bartender and server I am well aware that the service we received was impeccable. I would definitely recommend this location to our friends for a fun night out or simple meal. The only other thing that is lacking is good air conditioning, it was hot as balz last night and the system doesn't seem like it's able to keep up.“

“We have been to the Dive Bar several times and the food and service have been very good. The only complaint my entire family had (including my 93-year-old Mom), is why is it so bright in the bar area. It was not a relaxing vibe at all and we left sooner than we normally would because it was just so darn bright!“

“Very nice local bar. Nice atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced. Service is not that great. The bar can be almost empty and the bartender will be talking to someone and not waiting on you many times I got up and just left. Very nice owners.“

“Love this place! It's clean and the staff are friendly. I was here for a karaoke night and it was pretty good. Two super nice pool tables upstairs, spaced out perfectly. I didn't try the food but I'm sure it's great just like the place! Good variety of skill games (slot machines). Drinks are a reasonable price!!!“
