“Very good restaurant. Enjoyed my first experience. All of the food was excellent from appetizer to main course. The staff was extremely nice and they kept everything clean. The only downfall was the close seating, the couple sitting behind me were very loud talkers and it was a little tough to carry conversation at my table, however the service and food was so good that I definitely recommend this place. It is a must try.“

“I grew up in Oakmont. Alot of memories at Hoffstot’s. My grandmother loved their homemade blue cheese dressing. In turn, we loved their blue dressing too. Hoffstot’s had a delicious homemade dressing with a ton of chunky blue cheese crumbles. DELICIOUS. Needless to say, this last visit with the Kraft blue cheese was beyond disappointing. Our bartender, Shawn, was a total doll. We LOVED him. Also, we LOVED the chicken parm. Just as I remembered.“

“Hostess was great. Great attitute and wecoming. All tables have reservations signs on them but they are not necessarily reserved. I'm not sure why that is. So, I sat at bar. Bartender was cordial and knew her menu and specials. Food was really good, a bit saucy for me but that's an individual taste thing. Ichiban was very good. Lobster roll was delicious although this was the first time I ever had a lobster roll so cannot judge on comparative basis. Side of veggies was okay, presentation was simple, as in on a butter plate and just scattered and not very plentiful. Bartender #2 served my appetizer and called me "boss". I'm not into cute nicknames for a $40 lunch. Another young man served me my entree and called me "chief". Again, not into these nicknames. As i left, i passed no less that 4-5 employees including one that appeared to be the manager and no on said goodbye or hope you enjoyed your $50 lunch (with tip). I might try it again when i am in the area and have a hankering for a nice fish dish.“

“Lorie was fantastic. She was very quick with getting our order. She knew we had somewhere to be after and made sure to help us quickly. We were never without what we needed. I highly recommend her. She is funny and personable. Wonderful service!!“

“The food was good we got waited on right away. If I had to say if there was any thing they could improve on I would say our waitress, although very nice, never offered warm bread to our table and looking around at the other tables the other waitresses were offering their tables this bread. I saw our waitress wait on two other tables and not one table was offered warm bread. She also forgot to bring our salads that we had ordered until after our meal was actually served and only refilled our drinks once.“

“This is our favorite local (Sewickley/Franklin Park/Ohio Twp) spot! Food is consistently great. The atmosphere is nice -- especially the bar and back patio. And, the servers and bartenders are amazing -- super friendly and down to earth, professional, and they know their stuff.“

“Favorited restaurant for their homemade ravioli, pizza, and hoagies. Food quality is good. Gets crowded fast during the dinner rush and parking becomes scarce. Pricing is average for the area. Local family owned. Has a separate bar area. Dining area is a bit on the smaller side. Had a separate area and entryway for takeout pickup.“

“Very favorite to go again. Food was excellent and great atmosphere for Mexican restaurant. Service was better then fair but waited long at times. Price is better than Taco Bell. Sure is more than that take out but plenty of leftovers and no problem with your order. Chips and salsa on your table while you wait. Will definitely be going again“

“Met a retired friend for lunch. Had their lunch special #2. Service and food were good. Not crowded so we were able to sit and talk for a while. Had to meet in Cranberry since Fox Chapel location closed. When we were working together we would go to the Fox Chapel location 1-2 times a month.“

“Small quaint gem. Our server, Joyce, couldn't have been any more welcoming or accommodating. There were four (4) of us and everyone ordered something different. Each was impressed at just how delicious their entree was. Never been to this restaurant but most definitely will be back. Congrats to the entire staff for doing such a wonderful job of taking care of everyone while short by one staff member. If you're looking to treat yourself do not hesitate to try this restaurant. Compliments to the kitchen staff, the food from appetizers to the entree were just unbelievably delicious. Great job and thanks for a wonderful meal with our friends.“
