“This restaurant has ruined me for all restaurants! This is both a wonderful thing and occurs because now I compare all of their food to everyone else’s and unfortunately, there is no comparison. A simple thing such as their French onion soup is so delicious that you honestly won’t be able to have it anywhere else after you taste this. This restaurant is crave able and the dining experience alone is just that it’s an experience. Our waiter and I feel terrible that I cannot recall. His name was phenomenal from start to finish. Everything was done with intent, and he truly cared about our experience and how we enjoyed the food. Every time we come to Pittsburgh, I will definitely be visiting this restaurant.“

“I came in for Valentine's Day. I had just worked 9 hours and was wanting to treat myself. Now this was only my second time here and just like the first time - the woman at the counter (presumably the owner?), was the sweetest woman I've ever met. She is an absolute delight. I placed my order and stepped outside so I could have some fresh air for the day. I came back in and gave her a chocolate rose. She was estatic and so thrilled. Seeing her face light up truly melted my heart. I sat down to wait for my to-go order and she comes over with a little bowl if Thai Tea Ice Cream. mmm mmm good. It's so delicious and hits the spot. She then proceeds to pull a fresh rose from her vase and hands it to me. I honestly almost cried. The generosity here exceeds my expectations. The food is beyond amazing. I highly reccomend coming here and I cannot wait to come back soon. 🥰“

“Oh, the COOKIES!!.Great lunch available with many options to choise from. Two homemade soups daily. Wedding every Wednesday. Unique combinations at times, but dont be afraid to try them.
Grab-and-go cooler always has impressive items to decide on taking home and quiches don't disappoint.
My faves are the Chicken Pot Pie and the Shepherd's Pie.

“Absolutely fantastic 1950s-style diner. I’ve returned several times and have consistently had a great experience. The portion sizes are very generous — easily large enough to share between two people. The servers were upbeat and friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I also liked the open kitchen concept where you can see the food being prepared. Having separate TVs for kids and adults is a thoughtful touch as well. “I recommend this restaurant for any day of the week sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays. It gets a little bit busy but they take you so fast. Food is just so delicious and it’s not that they rushed the food out. The cooks are just so great that they can handle everyone coming in. I’ve had to wait maybe 10 minutes on a Sunday because of church But I highly recommend it to people are so friendly there and like I said they’re fast and delicious. “Efes pizza has incredible delicious food . Tonight, I ordered pizza and Mediterranean dishes for my daughter birthday and everyone absolutely loved the food . Putting Kebab on pizza is such a genius idea :)) The pide, hummus ,Tobuleh and mediterranean salad were all amazing . Everything was prepared hot , fresh and incredibly fast .

ATMOSPHERE: We sat in the outdoor/indoor seating area with fireplaces, it was cozy, quiet and comfortable. I was told this section opens up during the warm weather months. SERVICE: Our waitress (I wish I could remember her name) was excellent! She was very attentive to our small group. FOOD: There were no complaints! Everything was delicious. I tried oysters for the first time, they were actually good. The salmon fettuccine and caesar salad....so so good! “My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

“I placed a takeout order at the Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh) location on 3/29, around 5pm. I live in SE Virginia and my son’s father lives in Aspinwall, we were meeting 1/2 way in Maryland for spring break so I asked him if he’d pick up and take out order for me at the FC restaurant, and bring it with him and our son. (Nothing in my area compares to Aladdin’s!!). When I called, an amazing woman answered the phone, I asked ONLY if they could put the sauce on the side for my Shawarma so it wasn’t soggy 8 hours later when I’d be home to eat! Without second thought, she offered to make both of the Shawarma’s “deconstructed” with everything separate so I could “build” the wraps myself!! I also ordered the Dawali! When my ex handed me the bag and went to the cooler to get my food, I noticed what the crew had done…. They put everything in separate takeout containers and even wrote instructions on the Dawali container for me to heat, when I got home!! Everything was separate and the amount of extra time that was spent on the order was above and beyond!! It may seem simple, but for them to take the time and effort to make sure my food was just as good as it would have been if I ate in the store was really refreshing!! So THANK YOU to the Fox Chapel location for packing my order with such attention and my ex will be bringing a cooler with Shawarma’s and Diwali’s each time we meet in Maryland!!!“
