“After a difficult day I wanted to treat myself to one of my favorite local meals… the decadent Fettuccine Alfredo at Paesano’s. I was greeted with a bright-eyed smile by Sara, and when she recognized my trials- she offered a hug & prayers. I won’t soon forget that! “My family eats only organic and very healthy. Bake our own breads organic from scratch etc. at home. We rarely eat out because most restaurants use junk ingredients. When we do eat out we eat pizza and subs. We travel to Angelino's in Philly, Franks in Baltimore, NJ, NYC we travel to eat the best pizza places known period. York County is not a desirable place for good pizza. However they're serving real flour here to make their fresh bread daily, make their pizzas etc. Unbleached and potassium bromate free. This makes the elasticity harder to work with which is why most pizza shops around here cut corners and use crap flour. I do recommend ordering the pies crispy for the absolute best presentation and taste. All the wood fire pizzas are very good as are the regular pies. Their cheesesteak sub which I tweaked to have provolone, chopped ribeye and fried onions versus white American is very good as well. Made with their fresh daily baked bread. Gold Crust always had the best cheesesteaks in town, they may have just gotten knocked off that block. Probably the only place we will eat pizza around here ever again for these reasons. “Son of Sicily is a excellent place to eat, food is excellent and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The main reason for this review is the excellent pizza I just ate. I just had the Grandma pizza with bacon and banana peppers, my favorite combo. It was so delicious, everything was perfect. I just found my new favorite pizza. I’ve had the same toppings on a regular pizza, but on the Grandma the sauce is sweeter and more savory. Definitely a winner! Thanks Sons of Sicily crew!“
