“I have been writing about the Italian culture, history and food for many years, and have been making all sorts of pizza styles for two decades--I highly recommend Trios. I've been critical of Trenton style tomato pies in the past... usually covered with overpowering, acidic, cheap tomato sauce and barely a dusting of "parmesan" cheese. Trios' pies are a whole other level above that. Their crust is thin and crusty. They use amazingly sweet crushed tomatoes. The toppings are very Italian. Authenticity is key here... you won't be dissapointed!“

“We were a party of 10 celebrating a birthday with no reservation but were accommodated immediately. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The chef (owner) greeted our party, provided a brief description of the menu and his concept, and gave us his recommendations. The melintzana, the mediterranean duo, and the meatbolls were great to share. I shared the Paella for two which tasted fresh and authentic. The chef's touch on traditional mediterranean dishes kept true to their origin and added a welcomed personalized flare. We are looking forward to dine there again.“

The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! “This was one of our most memorable dinners of 2025 so far — everything we ordered was delicious.

We started with the marinated tomatoes with stracciatella and the focaccia, then had the Thai basil tagliatelle with crab and the breaded pork chop as mains, and finished with the corn brûlée and blueberry pâte à choux for dessert.

The marinated tomatoes with the focaccia were an excellent pairing, and the tagliatelle was a surprisingly delightful fusion — spicy, flavorful, and very well balanced. The pork chop was excellent too: juicy and flavorful, though slightly undercooked near the bone. The corn brûlée was fantastic, while the pâte à choux was the only dish that didn’t quite hit the mark.

Overall, the food was outstanding and the space was very cozy. Our only wish was for slightly better ventilation in the restaurant, but otherwise, it was an amazing dining experience.“

Last night was completely different and I thought it was important to say so. The service was attentive. The wine list was expanded and had more affordable options. But the star of the night was the food. Eggplant fritters were crispy outside and pillowy inside and came with a delicious complementary dipping sauce. A charcuterie board is not usually something that excites me. But the selections we tried were transportative. The pecorino tartufo with our Pinot noir were the perfect pair. The other meats and cheese we tried made every bite a party. Our entree selection was the lasagne, which we didn't realize was vegetarian. The dish completely won us over. “My sister and I were looking for Italian and decided to drive by for a look. The parking lot was a little sad, but inside was really nice. I think Don was our waiter. Very knowledgeable about the menu and substitutions we might like better. Nice, helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and large portions. “We have come to La Strada many times... This time was by far the worst experience we have ever had. Sadly, the server was a bit overwhelmed I think. He came over to us and then let us sit for about 15 mins before he came back. Glad it is BYOB or else we probably would have been waiting for drinks also. After he finally took our order, which we knew by the sounds of other tables comments, it prob would come out wrong, we finally got our soup and salad and then another waitress that works there came over with the pork chop special to give us... Um, no that is not by any chance close to what we ordered. She walks away. Our server never came over to tell us what happened. About 20 mins or so later, we received our order.... BUT LO and BEHOLD, my husband's dinner which was Pollo Gamberi was missing ALL of the shrimp. This is a staple of this dish. I am really not sure what happened. But he comped our soup, gave us 2 pieces of dessert to take home, even though we said no and I also heard the ppl next to us never got their app. And he comped that. The owner is sadly gonna keep losing money if the server doesn't step up his game. From now on, when we go in , we will ask for the servers we have had and we recognize.“
