“I was passing through the area and decided to stop at Arepa House, which turned out to be an excellent idea because the food is super tasty.Arepa House is easily recognizable from the street due to its yellow facade and large yellow lettering displaying the restaurant's name. Upon entering, we were greeted by a welcoming smile from a young woman. The staff speaks both English and Spanish, so you can communicate comfortably in whichever language you prefer.Inside, the same vibrant yellow color scheme continues, along with blue and red, which are the colors of the Venezuelan flag. Some expertly drawn chalk designs adorn a few wall areas painted black, adding an artistic touch to the ambiance.We savored a variety of dishes, including vegan arepas (plantain, avocado, and beans), a cachapa with cheese, a vegetarian empanada, a steak dish, and a maltín drink, among others. The green sauce they provided took the food to another level. One thing to note is I witnessed them with arepa dough and using cachapas batter, ensuring that the arepas and cachapas were made fresh.In addition to the ready-to-eat food, the restaurant sells a selection of food items, snacks, and treats such as Carré (chocolate with nuts), Samba Fresa, Hony Bran, Gayetón, Cocosette, and my personal favorite, bocadillo de plátano.The staff members are hardworking individuals who promptly prepared the food for both dine-in and take-out customers.I was thoroughly impressed with the food at Arepa House. “I honestly just happened to see the sign while driving past it and figured I could stop in for a quick brunch. I went in and the smell was amazing!! The cashier helped me pick out a yummy mini pancake combo (Nutella, almonds, and granola) that I’ll for sure be ordering again. I also recommend the horchata latte! Perfect for the cold weather! My husband got the chili hot dog that I swear disappeared in 5 seconds!Super friendly staff as well! Great place to check out for a snack or quick bite to eat.“

OMG!The staff were hustling restocking, cleaning up because a few minutes after I paid for my desserts, seven customers walked in to purchase sweets!Mayrana, our rock star clerk, patiently guided me through the lush myriad of sugary treats. $60 later, we took a stool and chilled with a few of our selections and that perfecto coffee.In ending, just a mile south on Chocolate Avenue from city centre.“

“Well worth driving out of our way for this gem of a cafe! We had the special green matcha rose latte with oat milk, a cherry danish, the blueberry stuffed pancakes, and 'the all in' sandwich served on rye bread. The sandwich was divine, though would have been wonderful with some extra sauce. The danish was just as we expected it to taste. I requested it be toasted rather than warmed elsewhere. That made a worldly difference in texture appeal, to compliment the taste. The blueberry pancakes were good. Nothing over the top for that. The plate could have used some dressing up for serving the rolled up pancakes. Maybe a poof of whip cream on each side if the customer only orders the pancakes and no side. The latte was delicious, but too sweet. The sweetness did take away from the name of the drink. For it to be green matcha primarily, I would have adored more of that with hints of the other flavors for that specific signature drink.The staff was polite, well mannered, and had good energy. ?? ?The atmosphere was quaint, with some nice plants as decor, along with a micro gift/merchandise section. The seating area was a little too crammed for our liking, but for many cafés we have found this to be somewhat common depending on what appeal the business is going for. It's simply nice to be able to hear yourself think and connect with the people you arrive to eat with. It was crowed for brunch on a Monday, which we were happy to see for The Hive, nonetheless! It's clear the locals come often, which makes this a special spot. There is a nice couch/coffee table set up, which is where we chose to eat for the extra space. In addition, there is outdoor seating available for nicer weather days under an attached pavilion style picnic area.All-in-all, it was worth our spontaneous stop, and we will absolutely be back! “This was my third time visiting this Starbucks at this airport and what I will start off and say that there is one barista that is always cleaning the store and he always makes my day especially with his manager they always make jokes but the main reason I made this review was to say , the service was amazing everytime but I did have a little issue with my drink there was 2 fruit flys /nats in my pink drink and when the guy told another baraista that he was gonna make me my drink again . I guess the other guy was saying he needs to ring me up or something but I think he was new because the barista I knew told him to go sweep the floor and he was gonna do orders because “ I’m not going to be here all night especially if I’m doing everything “ and I definitely agree he was doing everything and the other guy just stood there on his phone and then proceeded to stand there with his hands in his pocket .
