“I don't know that there is a better Italian place in Chambersburg to eat -- period.I have never had anything bad from here and I have eaten here many times over the past year. Once my wings were dry, once.The pizza, calzones, soups, sandwiches, fries, wings, it's all delicious.At this point, I might be keeping the place in business myself. This is a must for anyone looking for a good meal.“

“They have the best pizzas in the area HANDS DOWN!!! I preciously tried their cauliflower pizza and went back for more. We got Mexicana and White pizza, and they tasted very authentic, delicious, and fresh!!!! Not just a whatever pizza, you can tell they know what they’re doing!! “Let us start off by saying, Thank you Lord for allowing us to have our daughter's Sweet 15th Quinceañera at this restaurant and event room. The experience my family encountered during this celebration couldn't have been better! The owner Mr.Luis and his amazing team of servers went above and beyond to make this important beautiful event for our daughter's Quince. Everything went so smooth with having tables nicely setup, food being served right on point at the perfect time, delicious fresh authentic italian food, the service was spectacular! Anything we needed they provided with care. Everyone here was so kind and caring like no other place in Hagerstown. We can not Thank everyone enough for the outstanding service we experienced yesterday that was just the Icing on the cake for our princess special celebration. “The reason I have high cholesterol JK ?'Tis a rarity to find petso, especially tortellini in PA. This place serves it for under $20 bucks. It's a win-win.The place has that ole Italian family-everyone-is-welcome-vibe. Great for kids and entertaining large groups, especially in the summertime.Minor Critiques: the soup could be better & the bread could be bigger to match the entree size.“

“Ate here three times before I reviewed and I can say the food service and cleanliness never changed and never disappointed. I’ve tried the quesadillas delicious hand cut fries really good everything is fresh and hot. The wings are really good. I’ll post pict of what we ate this visit, it’s a great laid back home cooked family restaurant.“

“The main takeaway here needs to be food, and frankly it's where go for pizza and subs more than anywhere else in Chambersburg. They get hopping pretty regularly, and everyone behind the counter always looks up and says hello with positive energy and pure gratitude.UPDATE 3/21/24 - Went in for the first time in a while and they completely overhauled the inside. “To go order of Salmon Salad was fantastic with sliced avocado and tomatoes. The only thing was they didn't include the plastic wear and napkins to eat the salad on the go. They have friendly staff who were apologetic. I will go again and eat there sometime.“

“Typically we come here frequently on Mondays. This time when we visited service was quick but the waiter was inexperienced or did not care about his job. We were given no napkins with our food. Overall they were a little busy but Napkins are something that all customers need. The food was excellent but the service was worse than expected and left much to be desired.“

“Waitress was helpful and friendly. The lasagna fresh and homemade. Chicken parmesian was huge and delicious. Also homemade and 2 hand breaded patties.Salad was fresh and house dressing homemade. Cheesesticks fresh, crunchy outside and delicious with delicious homade sauce. Caramel dessert amazing. Everything we had terrific authentic flavor, seasoned well. Overall best food we've had at a restaurant in a long time.“

“I've gotten delivery from Pat and Carla's III many times and have always been pleased. The food arrives in a timely manner, is hot and fresh, portions are generous and each time, the delivery driver is polite. Keep up the great service!!“

“My wife and I are always looking for a good place to eat without having to drive an hour or two from home.We have driven past Il Castello's several times and decided to give it a try.I read some of the reviews, and they sounded encouraging.The reviews were true and accurate.The food is amazing.I had the shrimp Diavolo, and my wife had the shrimp with ham in a vodka sauce.The Diavioo had the right amount of heat.My wife's dish was even better, if that's possible.The dinner entrées come with a salad and fresh baked garlic bread.The portion sizes are enormous. We had leftovers for another full meal.The pasta and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The sauces are handmade in the restaurant, not from a can.Our server Bo was very attentive and pleasant.The front dining area is small but comfortable, but there is additional seating in the rear.There is plenty of parking in the front and back of the building.The restaurant is clean and bright.Prices are incredibly fair for the portion sizes served.For a small restaurant, the menu is extensive. Besides Italian food, they also serve Tex Mex.We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to some friends.We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I love the food here but don't look around much. The dirt and trash laying around is a bit worrisome. Seems like most get their food to go.2-2-24 update...much improved. Co owner there tonight. Said he was there to get things back in shape and he was! Was basically managing the dining room by himself. Food excellent. Place packed. Friendly. Fast. Clean. We had stayed away for a bit but we will be back.“

“Visiting from North Carolina and had to stop for a cheesesteak and pizza. Stopped in 11/25 at 5pm and costumer service was fantastic. Friendly and quick. Pizza was great. And got the meadows cheesecake. Wonderful. Also met a guy who has been a regular since 1950s in Maryland and Pennsylvania. SO YOU KNOW ITS GOOD.“

“My BFF told me about this restaurant as he and a friend eat here regularly. I typically get a tuna sub. The selection of toppings is great. What I like is that the food seems really fresh. The sub roll is tasty. The service is very good and I think the price is reasonable. I get the smaller 8 " sub, and it's more than enough. Got a small serving of fries the last time, and the serving was very generous.“
