“My husband and I have been vacationing here in the Poconos for about 10 years. We are from Maryland. We discovered Cakes and Scones several years ago and ever since, we make it a point to go to our favorite bakery, Cakes & Scones! Always have had the best scones, cakes (esp the chocolate lava cake!!), coffee, quiches, and pies!!!We bought a blueberry crumb pie this year and it was loaded with blueberries and not too sweet, but sweet enough! It was delicious to say the least!! One reviewer complained that they did not have doughnuts—I would refer that said person to check out Dunkin Doughnuts!!Tere and Andy are wonderful bakers, pleasant to talk to and most helpful. We always look forward when we come to the Poconos and check out their latest bakery item!! We have never been disappointed!!”

“We have been going to beyond bagels since it first open great owners and staff breakfast is great with large portions lunch is also great they started doing dinners now of course we had to try it of course it was great highly recommend trying it”

“If you’re looking for phenomenal food in the Pocono’s, Tom’s Country Kitchen is it! I only started getting food from here as of recently. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this deliciousness all these years I’ve lived here. Now I can’t wait to check their FB to see the special’s. “My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at The French Manor. The food served for breakfast and dinner was excellent. The view from the top of the hill is really scenic. The staff were kind and helpful. We stayed in the Venice room. It was nicely decorated, but the bathroom would benefit from some updates with the plumbing (water can be forceful at times since it is well water). I would recommend staying in the spa suites as they looked more modern. The spa was very relaxing, and all guests have free access to the sauna and saltwater pool.”

“Love everyone there but I especially love that Dani did the work to improve the roast and make it so dreamy! No heartburn, just a beautifully smooth tasting coffee. I also love her gluten free baked goods. As a celiac I truly appreciate when someone makes the effort to have a yummy treat available with my coffee. Also, everything is so affordable so you can cheat on your Keurig more than once a week 😬”

“This small family owned bake shop has the best rolls, especially their rolls baked with lots of butter on them. They are shaped like muffins, unbelievably Delicious 🤗”

We actually found them on Facebook and decided to give them a try, and we’re so glad we did. These days we don’t eat out much because we’re usually disappointed with the quality and portion sizes—but not here. You truly get what you pay for, and everything was absolutely delicious. “Went in to break Passover with a Bacon Cheeseburger (hey, we all have our own traditions, right? 😀). I ordered the Renegade Burger—and got waaay more than I bargained for. This thing was HUGE...and DELICIOUS! I barely made a dent and took home enough for at least another meal. Very welcoming crowd, and I definitely would go back again (but next time I'd order a smaller burger!)”

“Really fantastic ice cream hut! The restaurant shares the parking lot, but it's like it's own little thing. Quite a few seats outside, and spacious parking. The ice cream was really good.
