“My husband and I have been vacationing here in the Poconos for about 10 years. We are from Maryland. We discovered Cakes and Scones several years ago and ever since, we make it a point to go to our favorite bakery, Cakes & Scones! Always have had the best scones, cakes (esp the chocolate lava cake!!), coffee, quiches, and pies!!!We bought a blueberry crumb pie this year and it was loaded with blueberries and not too sweet, but sweet enough! It was delicious to say the least!! One reviewer complained that they did not have doughnuts—I would refer that said person to check out Dunkin Doughnuts!!Tere and Andy are wonderful bakers, pleasant to talk to and most helpful. We always look forward when we come to the Poconos and check out their latest bakery item!! We have never been disappointed!!”

“I was just passing by this Subway store when I decided to grab a quick bite—and I’m so glad I did! The taste of the food was absolutely amazing, with everything fresh and perfectly prepared. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Service was quick and efficient, yet they paid great attention to detail. If you’re in the area and looking for a delicious meal with excellent service, I highly recommend stopping here!”

“A lovely poconos getaway that is a unique and relaxing experience! We wanted to find something to get good rest and relaxation, the French Manor Inn did not disappoint! The breakfast and dinner were amazing! We did the romantic package as an add on which just added to the time away with welcome cheese charcuterie board and champagne, then chocolate covered strawberries at turn down. The suite that we got was spacious, maintained well, and had a gorgeous outside view. We also loved the sitting area with the fireplace made a cozy and relaxing area. The property is well kept and offers numerous things such as fireplace outside, games, lounge areas, indoor pool, and hiking trails. The staff were attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful with questions or any concerns. David was so welcoming, informative, and nice along with all the other staff! The staff created an atmosphere that was charming, stress-free, and comforting. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience! We look forward to returning again!”

“Only ever had wings and pizza, but both are excellent - no complaints. Atmosphere is extremely friendly and welcoming and the staff will literally go out of their way for you. If you're ever in the area and looking for a bite to eat, I definitely recommend stopping in!”

“If you’re looking for phenomenal food in the Pocono’s, Tom’s Country Kitchen is it! I only started getting food from here as of recently. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this deliciousness all these years I’ve lived here. Now I can’t wait to check their FB to see the special’s. “Ate here yesterday with my parents because we were excited to see something new in our area. Being Cuban and Puerto Rican, it is nice to see familiar dishes in the area as they are not too common in the Poconos when compared to living in NJ. The portions are huge, the food is well seasoned, and the staff is friendly. We chatted with the owner for a while, and we were thankful that she has decided to make her mother in law’s recipes for the public. Again, we don’t have many options like this up here, so we drove the hour to check it out. We would go again since we enjoyed the food, and it is closer than going into NJ or NY for us. Good luck ladies! We know it’s not easy, but we are happy to have you! :)”

“Went in to break Passover with a Bacon Cheeseburger (hey, we all have our own traditions, right? 😀). I ordered the Renegade Burger—and got waaay more than I bargained for. This thing was HUGE...and DELICIOUS! I barely made a dent and took home enough for at least another meal. Very welcoming crowd, and I definitely would go back again (but next time I'd order a smaller burger!)”

“Consistently good. Garlic knots are absolutely delicious (get them fried!!) pizza is great. Chicken cutlet sandwich is very tasty! We were hoping to go on Sunday for our anniversary but they had sold out and had to close early, so we tried somewhere else and were hugely disappointed. We won’t be straying again, mikes is the only pizzeria for us!”
