“Went the other night for the first time for dinner. Service was excellent and friendly, and did a good job answering questions. We got an appetizer of the beets that was delicious. The short rib risotto was out of this world - tender, flavorful and absolutely delicious. The goat however was a big miss. Came out as a round rolled piece that seemed unfortunately overcooked and tough. I was expecting a braised goat closer to a braised short rib. The couple next to us had the same two dishes and I noticed they didn't enjoy the goat either. The creme brulee desert was also spectacular. The atmosphere gets 3 because on a cold night, and with the restaurant being as small and cramped as it is, anytime someone comes or goes there's freezing cold wind that blows in. I wish more restaurants here did what they do in NYC with the plastic vestibules in front of the doors to prevent that.“

Fortunately they serve it all year round! It was great cold, warmed up, and from the fridge the next day. The savory pumpkin and just-right-amount of spices pair perfectly with the rich, sweet bread pudding. Do not miss out on this one! And eat dessert first!At my sis' recommendation, I tried the stuffed grape leaf wrap - and it was delicious. It had all the things a tiny stuffed grape leaf would have in it, with extra tasty ingredients, in the convenience and size of a full wrap! There is a reason that we ordered three of them, and they were gone in a blink!The moussaka was a little light on the bechamel layer, but otherwise wonderful. It has chicken and rice ONLY. Evidently he thinks since he is afraid of eating veggies that the rest of his bowl should be filled with extra meat. Sorry Bobby Bobby; that is not how any restaurant works. This place gives a ton of food. I rarely finish my small bowl and have never ordered a large one. In this business you could have the best product and location but take away top notch customer service and a highly dedicated GM/owner and get ready for your "Grand Closing". Caesar has been the GM at KOP for years now and I've never seen him have a bad day. He always has a smile on his face and treats all of his customers with the utmost respect. His customer service is exceptional. This is extremely rare. How do I know this? 35 years in the restaurant industry. Hail Caesar!!“
