“I love supporting local businesses and captain's choice is on of my go to spots for beer or a seafood platter. He definitely has great prices on beer. He also sells wine as well as other alcohol drinks and cigarettes. My only complaint is that when you order the fried flounder platter they always give such a tiny amount of fries not even a handful of fries. I wish they would give you more fries with the meal. Also there the only place in the Mayfair area in my knowledge that sells cups of Philadelphia water ice all year around which I absolutely love.“

“I was impressed that our table was thoughtfully set for the 3 in our reservation. I hate when they remove the 4th place setting after I’m seated. If you’re the “odd man out” you understand! Our dinner was delicious and service was excellent. Tried the special appetizer of grilled squid and octopus. Tender and tasty. A couple different hummus were delish. Two of us had the Branzino. Filleted table side with expertise. A large portion. Moist and flavorful. I don’t remember what other person ordered but he enjoyed it. Had to try the baklava for dessert. Wished the serving was larger; taste was authentic. We took our time with each course. We were not rushed. We will definitely return!“

“Celebrated my son’s 21st Birthday here with about 30 of his friends and family. We had a big section of the deck to ourselves. They had plenty of different options to fit our needs. “My family and I’ve been here a handful of times. We’ve enjoyed birthdays and time with friends. The food is delicious and tastes like home made Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, while the service is timely and our servers were always attentive, whether we were outside or indoors. “This is a family run establishment. The food is fantastic. Specialty orders no problem. Clean. Nothing is too much trouble, they just seem to want customer satisfaction . Can't wait to go back later this week. I avg 3 days ordering out of every 14 days(2 weeks)

“The only thing I would have changed was the spice level on my seafood boil. However, everything was absolutely delicious. I got Combo A and added sausage. It was so much food and the price was very reasonable. The boil actually fed me two times.“
