“I wasn’t greatly impressed. I liked that you could get half & half o-rings & fries. They also had a good strawberry 🍓 limeade. Honestly the sides & drink were better than the burger. It didn’t really taste char-grilled, as advertised. The service was friendly & accommodating. Seating options included tables, booths, & high tops. .“

“I stopped here the other day on a whim, and I was very impressed. I got the Bab’s Fries, which are fries topped with cut up chicken and their house “Baba’s Sauce.” The fries were good quality, the chicken was very flavorful- I got the no heat cause it was already close to 100° outside and I didn’t need any more heat that day (lol), and I was expecting the chicken may not be heavily seasoned without the hot chicken seasoning but I was wrong! The chicken tasted like it had been marinated and seasoned, and the exterior coating was top notch! I’ve had Asad’s too- which is also good but I think this is much better and much more flavorful! The Baba’s Sauce was also very tasty! I will definitely be back to try more! Glad I made a last second decision to give this spot a try!“

“I have been meat free for 3 months and must say it's been a struggle to find something decent when we want to have an 'order out' night. I don't know if your crab cake sandwich is homemade or frozen and I don't care, it's delicious and has become my go-to! I ordered pick up online for the first time yesterday and even got there a little early, everything was already waiting for me with a smile!“

“We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.

But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.

They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!

Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.

Almost forgot the fresh house made potato chips!!!! So so so good!!! Don't skip them!

“I had a very disappointing experience at Media's Towne House this past weekend. During a private party I attended, my husband was unfairly flagged by the staff without any clear explanation or warning. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially considering the event was private and meant to be a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I expected better treatment and transparency from a business that hosts events. This incident has definitely made me reconsider ever returning in the future.“

“Went to this restaurant for the first time. The decor was so comfortable like sitting in a cozy living room. Lighting was perfect! We had the plank salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. “I never write reviews but I ordered a gumbo from this restaurant that made me sit up straight in my chair and my hairs stand on end. Maybe the best gumbo I've ever had, counting multiple visits to New Orleans. I've had their shrimp and barbecue and everything is great. Folks working there are friendly as well. I don't know why there isn't a line out the door every day. The food is legit.“

“Finally stopped in after hearing good things about the pizza. It is a good pizza. Tight, thin crust with a good crisp. Flavor is on point. I would rate this pie a 7.7. I consider that to be a reputable score, as most DelCo pizza is in the 6's. I also got a cheesesteak. Also very good! Flavor of this steak is superb. Balanced amount of meat, cheese, onion. It's not huge, but this steak, an order of fries, and a drink, you will leave full. The staff are friendly, and everything looks clean. I mean, it is a shed basically. But a very clean shed. Lol. Prices are also very, very reasonable. Definitely worth a try!“

“One of our favorite places in University city. Food and service is fantastic. Beware of one thing - they add a 3% surcharge for credit cards then ask for additional tip starting at 20%. Tip inflation is important to the owners of Louie Louie. Wish they would be smarter than that as their prices have inflated a lot over the last 3 years.“

“Order taker guy was great, and he deserves a two thumbs up for attitude and taking pride in doing his job. Burger was excellent, no complaints. Fries, not so much. They were cold, lifeless and had not been salted. The only negative un a great dining experience.“

“After reading about the real estate and trademark dispute in the law journal recently I decided to drive to Philly and visit the original Jim’s Steak West from 1939 that predates Jim’s South Street. Cool back story and legal wrangling to resuscitate this business. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the business started to fill up as Church let out with everybody in their Sunday best. Ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, Kosher Hoagie and Banana pudding which was all delicious.“

Having said that, Freddy’s has the best hotdogs, custard, and shoestring fries I’ve ever eaten. A location should be opened in Philly.“

“It was a early afternoon lunch for my wife and I as we had business in the area and we decided on Wilson's and what a surprise right from the start the location was great the inside decor was exceptionally really nice clean and fitting for a barbecue restaurant the atmosphere and service was great as well a big shout out and thanks to Kelly our server who was more than gracious in making sure we were taking care of as for the food I hand the brisket cheese steak I highly recomened trying its a winner ! My wife had the brisket tacos she loved them both were coupled with the secret barbecue sauce which is a standout we had two orders of wings and fried pickles for our appetizers both had great flavor and were well made some of the best that I've had any were ..
