“Sorry I didn't have any food. But a great little corner bar. Old time stuff. Just a place to go in and have a couple drinks. And pick up on the occasional conversation, which can get very interesting. Great bartender will make what you ask him to.
Please do not pass on good information about this place. I don't want anybody else finding out about it.
If you're lucky you can run into the psychologist that I ran into, and get a session for the price of a couple drinks.

Parking: The later in the evening the better. Meters on both sides of the street. Went at 10:00 p.m. had the whole street to myself.“

“We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.

But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.

They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!

Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.

“I just joined Five Iron Fishtown and I love it. The location is great and I love the vibes of the inside. The hours are perfect as I generally go to use the simulators before work in the morning and work on my swing or play a round. I’ve also had a few lessons with Senior Golf Pro Matt Davis and I can already tell my swing has gotten better. With the technology they have and following Matt’s direction I feel like I’ll be performing a lot better once I get on an actual course. Highly recommend.“

Any full pour of 20oz was only 10 bucks and I was expecting at least 20, left me room in budget to not only get 2nd beer plus a pretty solid hotdog and chips.Biggest plus was Connor the bar tender, was super cool and attentive, and then informed me I was safe to take my cup and walk back to my terminal, since I walked a fair distance just to check out all beer options.Lastly, unlike most other restaurants In airport it’s kind of obvious if your paying attention that their section is not owned and maintained by airport, as most restaurants have tables and chairs with chargers that kind of blend from restaurants into gates, so I kinda understand their right to ask people to patronize their business or ask them to leave, I was lucky to find a spot at the bar.Not excusing anyone ever treated rudely, and definitely not my experience.“

“The bayou basically birthed my child. I had their 25 cent wings every Monday and Tuesday leading up to my due date. I was actually in the bar when my water broke and the staff were so friendly and assisted me until my husband could arrive. Can’t wait for my little girl to try their food when she’s older!“

“We just discovered this place after dining in Chestnut Hill for over 7 years. We could not be more in love. Incredible sandwiches. Such a laidback, cozy vibe. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Flashbacks in Lester for their famous crabs, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant had a cozy, hole in the wall feeling, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home.

The star of the show, of course, were the crabs. They were fresh, meaty, and perfectly seasoned, making for a truly satisfying meal. The Old Bay seasoning was just right, enhancing the flavor of the sweet crab meat without overpowering it. The crabs were served hot and steaming, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

In addition to the crabs, we also tried some of their other seafood offerings, including their pasta dishes which were equally delicious. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection.

Overall, I highly recommend Flashbacks in Lester for anyone looking for a fantastic seafood dining experience. The quality of the crabs and seafood is stellar. I will definitely be returning to Flashbacks in the future for more of their amazing crabs. Flashbacks also offer all you can eat crabs on Thursdays.

“i went to the library bar on a date and it was so beautiful! For those who are NOT Philadelphia natives like myself, The Library Bar is located INSIDE The Rittenhouse Hotel. When looking it up, it says that, but it’s easily overlooked if you’re not paying attention or not familiar with the area.

The atmosphere was intimate, relaxing, and definitely an overall vibe. This is a great place for drinks among friends, a date, or even if you’re wanting a solo date in a place with a great atmosphere🤍✨“

“I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

“Had a great time. We went to see Magical Mystery Doors. Food was excellent and top k notch burgers. Our waitress went above and beyond ( sorry forgot name but petite woman curly hair). Our only complaint was they should set boundaries when there is live music. We had a table almost next to the stage but there was so many people that we had to stand ( not that that’s a problem) but there was ways they could’ve avoided this. All in all a solid place“

“I am gonna give Krupas tavern 100 starts if possible! I found this hidden gem while staying in airbnb in art museum area! I told the bartenders(owners) that I am soon to move to Philly for work and they took it upon them to ensure I would have a safe neighborhood to live in! She literally took hours out of her day to make sure I find a good neighborhood and gave me all the tips I need to live in this city. This bar is the epitome of small establishment/center of community! The sisters helped me out a lot I am in debt to them and I will be coming back here a lot more to talk to them even tho I will be living outside philly! Their personality is reminds me of a warm cup of soup my grandma made. Krupa's tavern will make you feel like you are home away from home. Thank you for the hospitality! “Delicious as always. I went yesterday, with a friend and I got to say, your prices have gone through the roof! I mean doubled by $8-$10 per meal. We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again.
