“We have been big fans of Carpe Diem and Nino for years but in the beginning of October he catered our wedding and the results were even better than we hoped for. The food was wonderful (Chicken Parmesan and Meatballs). It was very tasty and fresh, not at all dry or overcooked as often happens when food is put out for a buffet. His house dressing is amazing, and I normally do not eat any dressing on my salads.“

“i was going to pick up for 3 plus me. They wouldn't let me order a 4th sandwich. So I asked the 2-person group behind me if they would order me a burger since they were only getting 2 sandwiches. The grill guy looked at me and said "are you trying to get a 4th sandwich?" Then the person who was ordering for me started getting mouthy with him and the cold cut guy started screaming and waving a knife around. The people who were trying to order my extra burger (for a total of 3 of their 6 sandwich allotment) said "f this, we're outta here" and gave me back my money. I'm pretty sure even if i had gotten back in the twenty minute line they wouldn't have let me order another burger. To be fair, they had a hand written sign detailing the policy. Had i known about that policy, I would have brought another person or called the order in 2 hours before opening at 8 am (as their hand written policy suggested). I won't be back due to the way they handled my in-policy work around (the knife waving was a real turnoff).“

“We visited this restaurant on our last night in Harrisburg. I deeply appreciated their plant-based and gluten-free menus as a vegan (available if you scan the QR code on the regular menu). I got the plant-based eggplant parmesan sandwich with french fries. My partner got a tofu salad with french fries and the chai latte mocktail. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was a bit pricey but worth it for a farm-to-table, ethical dining experience. Service was amazing, as well!“

“Bills takes me back to a time when I was a young child. It's a beautiful old restaurant. The staff are fantastic, especially the older lady who waited on us. She said she was the waitress there from the time it was opened, many years ago. Food is fantastic! We always went for the breakfast, which came quick and was always delicious! Pricing is very reasonable. The only thing that I would change is, you have to pay cash, no cards. But, I did say it took me back. Thanks Bill, great job!“

We went in for lunch and there were several pizzas to choose from for a single slice. I got the Old World, my husband got the cheese, and my son got the garlic with tomatoes. We all loved our pizza! We also got the garlic knots that came with their homemade sauce, so delicious!

The atmosphere is also adorable. There’s such a nostalgic old school pizzeria feels to it with plenty of tables to eat at. All the workers were also so kind and welcoming.

“We were looking online for a good restaurant to have lunch in Hummelstown before taking our tour of Indian Echo Cavern. We came across the Chatterbox which had overwhelmingly positive reviews so we decided to try it. We weren't disappointed. My wife and I both had potato soup and the chicken salad sandwich. The potato soup was served piping hot with a perfectly seasoned light broth that was chock full of chunks of potato. The chicken salad sandwich was served on a croissant and was literally bursting with a generous portion of chicken salad topped with slices of beautifully ripe tomatoes and lettuce. Everything was made with the freshest ingredients by Roxy, and the desserts were also home made by her husband. Both were delightful hosts as well, spending time giving us a tour of their unique interior (if you love collectible antiques and old adverting, this is a mecca for both) and relating their colorful family history. This is a delightful place to have a delicious lunch in a warm, quaint atmosphere. Highly recommend!“

There used to be some OK places in greater Harrisburg that were passable, then practically all went to pot -- or else my standards increased. I tried a new place in Camp Hill tonight that looked great, with great reviews. Uggh--I will never go back. Sushi Express, on the other hand, NEVER disappoints. Don't be fooled by the generic name, or because this is a kiosk-type restaurant that is an island in a mall, or because it's in the food court. I have eaten here 100+ times. This is, hands-down, the place I look most forward to to get sushi. Fancy? No. Elegant? No. Crazy wild rolls that dress like peacocks, but are all sauce and circumstance, no substance? No. This is for serious sushi eaters who want fish that is the freshest every time, is always great tasting, and with an experienced, personable owner who is funny and you like to see. “12/11/25 WARNING: This review is being written 1 year (to the day) AFTER our experience with Duke's. That's how strongly I feel about this restaurant. We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here. There were over 40 people in attendance & every single person said the same thing, "they knocked it outta the park!" The food was amazing, the staff was incredibly kind, even tending to a few extra needs with our older family members. As if that wasn't enough to "sell you" on the place, we got a call from them on our way back to the hotel, that we needed to come back because of a discrepancy with the bill. Having had an open bar for so many hours, for that many people, we really had no idea what the bill should have been, we just paid it....IN CASH! They called & had us come back because we OVER paid... by more than $1000! That type of honesty needs to be recognized. Anyone on staff, or the owners, could have kept quiet & we would never have been any the wiser, but they called as soon as they realized their error. If this place were closer, there's no doubt we would be regulars here!!! We loved everything about our experience & look forward to making the trip to the area just to go to Duke's.
