I can’t explain how the flavors come together for this dynamic appetizer but, Wow! It was fantastic!!! Our entrees of the scallop po boy…..( yum!!! )…… and the seafood enchiladas……. ( oh my goodness!!! ). …were delightful!! So, so delicious!!!! Sweet potato pie and pumpkin cheesecake ice cream were an amazing ending to a superb meal!!! We’ll definitely be back soon! “We had their new coconut chicken salad. This was the best coconut chicken I have ever had and trust me I have had alot. There were large portions of chicken on a spring mix with with braised peaches and watermelon. The combination was amazing. My son had the duck wings and he couldn't stop talking about how great they were. This is probably only place around here that has duck wings. “This review is mainly based on the food because it was a takeout order. From what I could see while waiting for my order the staff and atmosphere were also outstanding. To the food, overall it was very, very good. We had 5 dishes, the empanadas, the green goddess potato salad, the ricotta toast and the risotto. Everything was fresh and well thought out, something lacking in chain restaurants. The empanadas were just right with a beefy brisket filling and a consume you could drink it was so flavorful. The ricotta toast is perfect for a warm summer night and large enough for a entree. The risotto was spot on, creamy with plump seafood. This is my goto restaurant when in the Harrisburg area for dinner and I will be back again.“

“i was going to pick up for 3 plus me. They wouldn't let me order a 4th sandwich. So I asked the 2-person group behind me if they would order me a burger since they were only getting 2 sandwiches. The grill guy looked at me and said "are you trying to get a 4th sandwich?" Then the person who was ordering for me started getting mouthy with him and the cold cut guy started screaming and waving a knife around. The people who were trying to order my extra burger (for a total of 3 of their 6 sandwich allotment) said "f this, we're outta here" and gave me back my money. I'm pretty sure even if i had gotten back in the twenty minute line they wouldn't have let me order another burger. To be fair, they had a hand written sign detailing the policy. Had i known about that policy, I would have brought another person or called the order in 2 hours before opening at 8 am (as their hand written policy suggested). I won't be back due to the way they handled my in-policy work around (the knife waving was a real turnoff).“

“Stopped by St. Catherine Labouré church's food truck fest today (8/17) and picked up a crab cake, an order of cheesy crab balls, fries and cole slaw. Man, everything was BANGIN'! First of all the crab is tasty, you can tell they're getting it fresh, and the portions were generous. Denise still had some crab cake leftover, and the cheesy crab balls were really nicely spicy, with a ton of crabmeat. We split fries, a HUGE order, and split the slaw, also enough for two. Fries have a seafood seasoning similar to Old Bay, and the slaw was nicely tangy, slightly creamy, just a hint of sweet. Definitely got the seasoning right, the crab is copious, and it's a super value. Denise reports: lump crab in those cakes, NO FILLER!“

“We have been big fans of Carpe Diem and Nino for years but in the beginning of October he catered our wedding and the results were even better than we hoped for. The food was wonderful (Chicken Parmesan and Meatballs). It was very tasty and fresh, not at all dry or overcooked as often happens when food is put out for a buffet. His house dressing is amazing, and I normally do not eat any dressing on my salads.“

There used to be some OK places in greater Harrisburg that were passable, then practically all went to pot -- or else my standards increased. I tried a new place in Camp Hill tonight that looked great, with great reviews. Uggh--I will never go back. Sushi Express, on the other hand, NEVER disappoints. Don't be fooled by the generic name, or because this is a kiosk-type restaurant that is an island in a mall, or because it's in the food court. I have eaten here 100+ times. This is, hands-down, the place I look most forward to to get sushi. Fancy? No. Elegant? No. Crazy wild rolls that dress like peacocks, but are all sauce and circumstance, no substance? No. This is for serious sushi eaters who want fish that is the freshest every time, is always great tasting, and with an experienced, personable owner who is funny and you like to see. “Bills takes me back to a time when I was a young child. It's a beautiful old restaurant. The staff are fantastic, especially the older lady who waited on us. She said she was the waitress there from the time it was opened, many years ago. Food is fantastic! We always went for the breakfast, which came quick and was always delicious! Pricing is very reasonable. The only thing that I would change is, you have to pay cash, no cards. But, I did say it took me back. Thanks Bill, great job!“
