Pictured are the Yummy Roll, the Mango Roll, General Tso's Chicken combo (served with fried rice for only $11) and Wonton Soup. We definitely took home leftovers but it was due to very full tummys!!!

Give this place a shot of you haven't already. I remember back in the day this used to be a buffet and we are pleased with this concept instead.

“This is absolutely one of the two best falafel places in Philadelphia.
One thing you need to know - either come when it’s busy and the falafel always gets out of the oil or ask for fresh, out-of-the-oil falafel.
The difference between a hot super fresh falafel and falafel that sat till cooled down is huge.
One more thing I wish they’d do is to keep their pita bread in a humidifier - to keep them moist, fresh and elastic.
No photos this time because it disappeared in 2 second - I really missed a falafel this good.

We decided on the menu and then we were guests at our own dinner. It is full service. The ambience was good and our guests enjoyed both the food and their awesome selection of cocktails. Gaurav Bhardwaj and Brazil provided excellent service. Did I mention Food? Very Good and Flavorful. We are from Delhi and big foodies, and I must tell you that they superseded our expectations. “I tried the salta here — and it was great — but the lamb Fahsa? Oh my god. Absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and so filling. The bread portion was exactly what it should be: generous enough to fully enjoy the dish the way it’s meant to be eaten.

As a non-Yemeni Middle Easterner, this was my first real experience with Yemeni food, and I was blown away. I was so impressed that I later tried a Fahsa at another Yemeni spot just to compare — and it wasn’t even close to what I had here.

The atmosphere here is phenomenal, but not in the overdone, “look at our décor” kind of way. They don’t rely on flashy visuals or gimmicks — you walk in, order your food, sit down, and the focus is entirely on the food and the experience. That’s how you know a place is truly good.

“Literally one of my favorites in Philly, Bistro Southeast never disappoints! I have eaten here too many times to not have written a review yet. The food is always flavorful, fresh, and hot. What I like most is that it is always consistent and the portions are sizable. The crab fried rice is my favorite item on their menu but everything I’ve tried has been amazing. The wings are crispy and well seasoned, the salads are refreshing and feeling, the mango sticky rice is the perfect balance of sweet and savory…I’ve tried other dishes as well, just too many to list haha! In addition to the food, the service is great. The staff is always so friendly, they play apart in how frequently I eat there as well. I don’t have any pictures of my food because when I remember to take them my food is already half gone.“
