Location was confusing but once there we really enjoyed our time there. I do wish the bartenders was opened longer especially on a Saturday night.“

The Pork Chop was tasty and the stuffing was reminiscent of Thanksgiving! We saved the corn bread and fruit jam for dessert with coffee and felt so satisfied! “The Forge has been an absolute staple in Pittsburgh for the past seven years. I’ve visited at least fifty times, and every single meal has been nothing short of incredible. Their wood-fired pizzas, especially the Feta Feta Bang Bang, are outstanding. The Tuna Steak, grape leaves, hummus, and Old World Falafel (truly the best you’ll ever have) are all top-notch.

When it comes to cocktails, The Forge easily stands out as the best in Pittsburgh—by far. I’ve explored countless spots, and this place is number one. The drinks are crafted with so much care. They are unmatched.

The service is consistently phenomenal, It’s family-owned and operated and you can see the passion come through in the atmosphere and every ingredient of everything they put out. The setting is both welcoming and dimly lit. Every visit is an experience.

Parking: There’s a lot designated to the forge to the left of the building. I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. There’s plenty of street parking too.“

Something else. The cigar lounge is amazing. Great selection of smokes and beverages. HOWEVER, we could not sit in the reserved seating even though the lounge was selection empty. Apparently, the four people that made a reservation, wouldn't be inconvenienced regarding the 16 seating options by our presence.... that means: don't just show up to the cigar lounge, if you didn't make a reservation then you'll be treated as such....a sad way to grow a business attempting to thrive in a tough area.“

“We stopped in around 6:30 on Friday for some drinks and snacks. The salt and vinegar chicken basket (strips and fries) was the perfect thing to share. The place looked great and the outside area looked cool, but was not open. Lots of big TVs and great bar stools - comfy with a back - but no bar foot rail or hooks under the bar for purses. The bar is really big and there are booths and high top tables in the bar area, with nice, big bathrooms downstairs. We’ll definitely go back - seems like a good place to watch a game.“

“Absolutely enjoyed this bar! Their drinks were good and the night my friend and I went they plaued great music. Since it was snowy, there wasnt a large crowd, but we had fun regardless.

The bartender was friendly and gave us drink suggestions and made good talk. We watched sports on tv, talked, and overall had a good time. Bathrooms were clean, dancefloor is fun.
