“I have been going here for a number of years now. I am old school and enjoy the diner experiance. The senior service staff are outstanding. I have noticed latley the new younger servers are full of attitude and just nasty.
I really enjoy the origonal section with the train. I noticed latley when you arrive for a meal the staff shoves you into the new section without asking you if you would like to sit in the diner side. When you tell staff you would like to sit in diner side they get all bent out of shape
I go to the restaurant for the experience not attitude. The service staff up front all stand around and talk and not help the customer. I was in a few weeks ago and a greeter was putting napkins around silverwear and has a nasty attitude because she did not want to let me sit in the diner side.
Its sounds infantile but its the experience of dining. I have cut my amount of time going there now because I am tired of the negative attitude with the young servers. Give me a senior server anyday. They know there job well.
I thought the business should know the customers side.

“The good: excellent customer service, food portion and quality. The bad: The soda fountain is broke and you get flat syrup drink. They serve 1 shot mix drinks in GIANT plastic cups. If you are sitting in the front of the restaurant it is very very hot due to the ovens being right there (this is actually a good thing in the winter time) Overall I like coming here“

“Yesterday, I ordered food for my children and I. I ordered the five cheese with breadsticks. When I got home they gave me the wrong thing. I called today and explained the situation and was given a replacement today, i added a hawaiian pizza, with ham pineapple and added onions and other items to my order today. When I got home it had ham, pineapple, bacon, green peppers and onions. I was clearly upset because my order was made wrong again and when I called the manager would not speak to me because he was "busy". I drove back because I was really upset that my orders had been messed up two days in a row. I walked in and asked that he please remake my pizza. The manager tried to fight me on this. I spoke over him because when I looked at the menu peppers do NOT come on a Hawaiian pizza. He told me to leave the store, I said no I was not leaving I wanted my order corrected, or my money back. I again explained, this time I was very upset, I didn't feel I was asking for too much, that I specifically asked for ham, pineapple and onions. He nor I mentioned bacon or peppers. I hate bacon and peppers, and I had just been told to leave the store because they clearly messed up my order! I was told I was banned from the store and that I was acting like an "animal" by the general manager in front of other customers, because I had gotten upset. I told him I was not leaving until I got my money back and he called the police on me and stated that I was "going to jail". I asked him for the owner's contact information or his boss's information, because I know he does not own the store. He would not tell me. I let him know I would be contacting the corporate office. When the police got there I explained that they made my order incorrectly and I came in visibly upset because my order was wrong the day before as well. I told her I wanted my money back. When she spoke to the manager he stated that he was busy, it was clear he was overwhelmed but good customer service would have been to remake my pizza or offer me a refund. Try to rectify the situation, not ban me and refuse me a refund because I was upset over the mistake. This whole situation could have been avoided if the manager owned their mistake and just agreed to make the correct pie or give my money back before the police were called. I did receive a refund but was told that I was no longer allowed in the store. My son is autistic and only eats certain foods, his favorite food is domino's pizza so I am highly upset that we are no longer welcome there because of a mistake made by the company.“

“Consistently good. Garlic knots are absolutely delicious (get them fried!!) pizza is great. Chicken cutlet sandwich is very tasty! We were hoping to go on Sunday for our anniversary but they had sold out and had to close early, so we tried somewhere else and were hugely disappointed. We won’t be straying again, mikes is the only pizzeria for us!“
“this place is great. over the years it's been many different names like the Hoagie Hut and Dam good Food and it was also one a Subway. All those paled in comparison to the folks running it now cuz they are super nice folks and the menu is great! Highly recommended“

“Wooooow What a Gem! This pizza was exactly what I wanted tonight. Very large, yet thin slices. A very solid mastery of pizza fundamentals. The prices were fair and the food was great. The shop itself is not huge, so maybe don’t plan on showing up with 20 guests, but there are a few tables outside. The shop is impeccably clean and the staff were very friendly. The food was ready exactly when they said it would be. Try a specialty pizza! Oh, and cash only, with an ATM on premise.
Parking: A little tight if on a busy night.“
