21 Best Fast Food Restaurants near Hummels Wharf

“I ordered a triple burger meal and it was good. the drive thru was long for a Sunday afternoon. but the drive thru people were nice I would say this by far the best Wendy's I have ever been too“

“Best place to take the all family. Great food delicious desserts and fantastic customer service“

“Tried this Papa Johns location because my father-in-law raves about it all the time, and I have to say, he was right! The locations closer to me have been disappointing, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this store exceeded my expectations.

The food was fresh, tasted great, and was easily the best Papa Johns pizza I’ve had in a long time. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent from start to finish.

I can definitely see why this location has such a loyal customer. I only wish it were closer to me! Keep up the great work, great service, and great food.“

“This night MOD Pizza saved my life. In a rare snack-less and meal-less coeliac emergency this offered the only ray of hope, and what a day it is.

Service was fantastic - travelling from the UK and have no experience with the MOD Pizza chain - the server was wonderfully helpful, I wished I'd got her name! And the pizza was one of the best I've ever had!

It's a good job we're not local as I would be severely overweight. 🤣

Thank you for catering for the coeliacs! ✨“

“Family feast meal is under 50$ and will feed 5 ppl easily.
Try feeding 5 ppl at McDonald's or anywhere else and spend less than Ulysses S. Grant bill.
Greasy goodness of well mixed fish, chicken and the sides of your choice..
I wonder why this place isnt as popular. Enlighten me?“

“Looks can be deceiving! On the outside and inside, this place looks a little rough, Honestly. The optics, however, belie the food, which was spectacular! It came really really quickly as well; truly fast food. This has to be highlighted: like 1 minute between ordering and delivery! This is definitely one of the best, if not the best place to stop in Shamokin Dam, much better than Panera or the such. I had forgotten how much of a diverse selection Arby’s in general, as opposed to this specific location, has; the food is spectacular and very different: more than the normal burgers eat cetera one comes to expect from a fast food place. I highly recommend the steak bites bowl and Mac and cheese. I love Mac and cheese, and I am pleased to share that Arby’s has the second best fast-food Mac and cheese. It was really affordable, too!“

“Great location and their employees are the best!“

“I only used the drive through but the food was excellent. The only downside was they forgot to give me utensils and both items I bought required them. I had to stop somewhere else to get utensils to eat the food. Items eaten were a chicken pot pie and a famous bowl. First time trying both. I would get either or both again. The service at the drive through speaker was fast and very polite.“

“My husband and I stopped in for our 16th anniversary tonight. This staff if absolutely amazing and made us feel extremely special. Our waitress, Alyccia, let the rest of the staff know that it was our anniversary. They all pitched in to give us a brownie. ❤️ These sweet people made our night!“

“These guys are stellar. I ordered through doordash today and they don't offer a ton of customization for box meals on there, but they do have special instructions open. (I am a pain in the butt when I order sometimes because I ask for things taken off or added onto each item)

They actually READ them too. Did everything that i asked for. They were even able to charge me for avocado green salsa packets because there was no option to order them in the doordash app and swapped cinnamon twists for chips and cheese since there also wasn't an option to do so.

Shoutout to that whole team in there. If management sees this please tell everyone they're doing a great job. :)“

“Thank you to Erin, Jamie, and Drew who continue to feed our Burger King addiction! We appreciate that Burger King is open 24 hours and the great sense of humor each employee has!“

“Best freshest food, great workers, prettiest red head too“

“Wish every Subway could be like this one. Best customer service ever. Great job!“

“I love Annie’s so much I could eat there’s everyday there food delicious~ the pretzels delicious~ the drinks delicious~ what i love most about Annie’s is you can. dine in, take out, or delivery, but place I’ve been for trips when hungry. Top 10 would recommend. Especially on those long trips. or when you’re shopping and get hungry.“

“We had the most amazing drive thru window associate after a long day at Knoebels. At first, I noticed the inflection of his voice was refined like he was a professional radio host. I even considered if it was AI, but then I pulled around and saw him really there. So many times a drive through window you hear a monotone or disinterested voice, but this individual spoke as though he cared. At the window that continued as he offered crowns for my little children and truly seemed like he cared about my experience. Probably the best BK experience I’ve ever had!“

“It was ok to grab a fast bite . I found them to be about average I have had better and I've had worse but as far as just to grab fast bite they are ok . Also each one is very different I have been to other locations for which I will not go Back. I would visit the sunbury location again.“

“Had a great experience on Saturday 1/25/25 - first off the cashier was very pleasant and attentive very kind .

Food was very fresh and Fries were fresh and it was all in a timely manner that's what we would expect from a fast food restaurant.

I would definitely prefer Wendy's over the Lewisburg McDonald's any day hands down.“

“I picked up a mobile order tonight containing a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a Supreme Doritos Locos Taco, and Cinnabon Delights, and I added a large drink at the speaker. I mistakenly asked for a Coke Zero, and the team member politely and efficiently helped me switch it to a Pepsi Zero via a clarifying question.

When I got to the window, the drive thru team member provided absolutely top tier customer service. They went completely above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and truly made my night. With all the current road construction backing things up through Shamokin Dam, I was dreading the headache of making another stop for a drink, but their stellar attitude and quick service saved me the hassle. The food was great, but I highly recommend this location for the outstanding staff alone!“

“You pay for lettuce, tomato and extra onions and there's like 5 strands of lettuce and 5 tiny cubes of tomato and 3 cubes of chopped onions. Would be nice to be able to taste the extras i paid for and this happens at ALL Taco Bells. Please provide a sufficient amount of items paid for.... Thank you so very much.“

“Stopped in 25 minutes before closing. Drive thru order. Bacon king, rodeo burg, onion rings. This was absolutely the freshest and fastest bk meal I've ever had. Rolls were perfect. Everything was cooked perfectly and hot. From ordering to pulling out of the drive through lane was like 6 min. For this hour it was crazy fast. You guys made my 90 min drive home so much better with a hot meal.“

“I came into the restaurant to talk to a manager about a local charity event. I thought I would get the usual call back next week. Alishia the manager was at the counter handing a customer a pizza to go prior to checking on a table. She was friendly and engaged. It was full but when I approached and told her why I was there, she immediately became empathetic and compassionate. She said oh yes pizzahut is very much involved in the local communities. This lady is the best! She is super people oriented and really cares! My interaction with her for just the few minutes left me appreciative and thought Pizzahut has one great manager working for them!“
