“My family and I accidentally stumbled across this place, (I haven't been to this building/restaurant since 2012 when it was under a different establishment and last I knew nothing was reopened) and this family of new owners was very ATTENTIVE, PROFESSIONAL AND just made us feel WELCOMED from the start. The owners were AMAZING, gave us a background of their business and their children were EXCEPTIONALLY polite, and KNEW how to work as a team! The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting and the food was entirely homemade and FABULOUS. (My family is Italian so saying that should be enough ?) “Yes it is an older place but comfy and down to earth. I've become a regular with my friends and the food is so comforting and tasty especially the beef and vegetable soup.. so delish. And the prices are sooooo affordable. God Bless the owners for keeping the prices low.“

“Always number one!! The people there are so kind. Recently I went there to meet a group of friends and couldn’t navigate the steps on a mobility scooter. Alex, Jodi and a group of workers immediately took over helping me walk 3 steps while others picked up my scooter and carried it!! It still warms my heart. The food was excellent and service was excellent. Atmosphere has always been classy and welcoming!“

“I love this place! Good food and I occasionally get a drink with my late Sunday breakfast. They had mimosas for Mother’s Day but I didn’t indulge. Their pancakes are really good and huge. “First and foremost, this is still a smoking bar. And you need to be 21 to enter even if you are only eating. Aside from that, the food was delicious. Not your regular bar food. There are plenty of unique appetizers and specialty grilled cheese and burgers. Saturday early afternoon they were packed! Would come again for the food.“

Kinda wish they would get rid of one section of tables inside and replace them with pool tables. Noone was using any of the tables to eat or even sit at but I'd bet a paycheck pool tables would definitely get use.“

“Nice little Christian Cafe. When I say that, this place will certainly be a comfortable spot for you even if you do not believe. There are Bibles and books and Christian material around in the peripheral. Not on the tables and there's nobody trying to convert you in there. It is a very comfy spot, well decorated and just Pleasant. The music has been neutral Jazz both times that I have been. Had me a proper fancy coffee and listen to some Miles Davis and John Coltrane. The profits of this Cafe benefit a local youth outreach as does the sandwich shop and the thrift store on either side. Highly recommended!“

“So I had a huge, and a pretty difficult order I’d say. I walked in after not a long wait at all. With almost a full bar. The bartender notice me immediately. She greeted me with kindness, and so i left a decent tip. Little had i known the food I ordered would've been probably the best steak and chicken salad Ive ever had. The portions were very generous. The meat was tender. Everything was perfect! If I wasn't glued to my couch now. I'd go give more to add to their tip. Exceptional service, and very professional. “*Edit*I gave this place a 2nd chance, and glad I did. My wife got chicken planks and fries, while I got the fried pierogies. A complete 180 from our last visit! Very happy with our food, and the bartender has been great! Will be coming back Took forever to get service, and when we finally ordered food, it took over an hour to get it. Once it finally came out, it couldn't even be eaten. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1, was the bartender apologized and took the food off of our tab.“

“Traci was a fantastic server. We never had empty drinks and she checked back just often enough that we didn't feel like she was interrupting our meal but enough that we felt very well taken care of.
The manager, Chris (Breezy), did have to correct our check due to some overlapping specials that got all of us confused. Long story short, they have all their burgers on special on Tuesday (the day we were there) and just a couple for a meal deal special. I ordered the meal special but my husband and MIL ordered one of the burgers from the Tuesday special, and the computer entered it all wrong. It took a hot minute to figure out and Chris was so awesome about it. He said he was glad I pointed it out to him so they knew they were going to have to fix that issue for the rest of the day. He took off a little more than we would have saved with the specials, and was just super nice about everything.
We definitely will be stopping in again !“
