I never felt pressured to hurry and leave like other bubble tea places around this campus. When we pulled up to Kung Fu Tea, the first thing that surprised me was how big the location actually is. There’s a lot of seating inside, so it feels more like a place you can actually hang out instead of just grabbing a drink and leaving.

The front counter was also really well decorated. It didn’t feel overly modern or like a typical chain store. It had its own little personality and unique touch to it.

They also had these really cool benches where you could sit and wait for your drinks, which I thought was a nice touch.

For drinks, we both ordered the Honey Oolong Milk Tea. I got the large and my girlfriend got the medium, and honestly they were both fantastic. Smooth flavor, lightly sweet, and the honey paired really well with the oolong. The boba was also exactly the kind of sweet treat we were looking for. The drinks alone is a 5 out of 5 for me.

Now we also ordered the popcorn chicken, and I have to be honest here… I would strongly recommend staying AWAY from it. When I bit into it, it honestly didn’t taste like chicken. It had a really gamey flavor and the texture reminded me a lot of when I had alligator in Florida.

My girlfriend tried it too and said the exact same thing.

So yeah, big disclaimer: never order the chicken. Stay away from the chicken.

But if you’re coming here for boba and a chill vibe to hang out, it’s definitely a great spot.“

“I met Agnes today.. she raved about the cafe she and her sister share. Her pride and overall light when describing their cafe drew me in. We visited the cafe and ordered veggie dumplings and veggie egg rolls with fried rice and boba tea to go. The food was beyond amazing, super flavorful, fresh, well priced and the portions were on point! To top it off, Agnes's sister ( didn't catch her name) she was kind, patient and accommodating-. cafe was also really cute and welcoming. We will be returning! “This is my go-to bakery in the neighborhood. Their pastries are always fresh, warm and tasty. I like the triangle cake and cream roll as they’re very soft and not too sweet. The tuna bread and cocktail bread are worth trying too, especially when they’re freshly baked in the morning. The owner is polite and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable - about a third of what other bakeries charge“
