“This place is awesome. The food, the staff, the service were all top notch. It doesn’t feel like a stuffy 5 star restaurant but your food tastes every bit like it would at a 5 star. It’s BYOB and one of the wine bottle we brought had a cork that disintegrated and they kindly filtered it all out and put it in a decanter for us. Every single course was delicious!! We each got a different appetizer, two different entrées, and two different desserts. Every one of the appetizers was amazing, but I thought the wax beans by far were the best. The carrots were also delicious and everyone really loved the rice noodles too. Each dish was unique and super flavorful!! The steak appetizer was excellent. My scallops were good but not my favorite mix. The desserts were very good and we had to get them to go so I’m sure they would have been even better fresh. I will 1000% be back. “Been here for an event and dinner and now we tried eating brunch. We were here when it opened early morning. Staff was amazing. The place is cozy and you can see an old interior design which is nice. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and Braised Brisket Burrito. I liked the eggs benedict but not impressed with their hollandaise sauce. For me it tastes like mustard probably because it's Vegan. Husband said the burrito was delicious. Will definitely be back.“

“I came here for the first time with my family. Our waitress Karlee was amazing and super nice to us. She made us feel very comfortable and welcome in this establishment. Same with our secondary waiter Cole (Karlee’s shift ended). The food was delicious. I got myself some carne asada tacos and they were fabulous. The vibes I got from this place were amazing and really boosted my mood up today. Overall a fantastic restaurant and we will be returning soon! 🔥“

The scallop ceviche was excellent, and we loved the pasta with ox tail (nicely done al dente) and the fried stuffed quail. A good dessert was the pear Tarte Tatin. From the small list of available wines, we chose a Joel Gott Cabernet Sauvignon, way overpriced (as wines generally are in PA restaurants). The reception was a bit frosty (we came way too early and even though the tables in the dining room remained empty, we were ordered to wait a half hour). A very good eating experience inside one of the great museums of the world.“

“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. Adam & Jenny, thank you for my birthday dinner one to remember!💖“

“The bartender, Andrew, made me delicious mixed drinks! He personally recommended me a drink off the menu based on what I said I like, and he made me the best Negroni I’ve ever had (my favorite drink)! I will certainly will be coming back, and I hope to see Andrew behind the bar again.“

“It was alright, no complaints other than the sandwich being under seasoned. I heard a lot about this place but can't say it lived up to expectations. Not that it dissapointed either, just fell somewhere in the middle for me. Maybe I just visited on an off day but for the price I don't think I'd go back.“

Received a personal email from the manager explaining stairs placement and amount and alternatives to where we could sit. Thought that was super nice of him to take that time. Food was great. “Ordered a chicken pesto Stromboli and one of the reasons was the sun dried tomato’s. Unfortunately it came with regular tomatoes which made it watery. Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

“Can’t count how many times we’ve been here but here is my review of Silk City.

The food was excellent. Can’t go wrong in any order. Loved the ambiance. The drinks were good. It’s good to have a reservation as this place gets packed every time, but they could accommodate you to the diner section. Service at the diner section usually takes longer. Lots of parking around the area, but it’s better if you take Lyft or Uber. Staff were amazing and really friendly.

“I had a delicious cheesesteak here the other day. The meat was top quality shaved ribeye and the roll was fresh and crusty. I have a small bone to pick. This store does not have a soda fountain or even an ice maker, so if you dine in you can't enjoy an ice cold Coke (or your beverage of choice) with your steak sandwich. Most of their competitors and for some odd reason the Richboro and Newtown locations have soda fountains, but this location does not, and it's a shame.“

We each had different entrees, one the salmon dish and the other chicken—both were amazing, with each of us saying we’d order our meal again or try the other one next time. Then dessert: one had the s’mores dessert and the other the chocolate bread pudding—we didn’t think we’d have room, but we made room, because both were excellent! “I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The portions were generous and the coffee was great. Thirteen bucks for all that. Perfect. I'll be back.“

I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. “A huge variety of delicious vegan options and great beer/kombucha on tap. We often come for brunch to get the West Philly Breakfast which rivals vegan breakfast plates had in Scotland. Always nice to sit outside in the fresh air, but the seating inside is also great.“

“Memphis Market is a great place to grab a quick inexpensive breakfast sandwich, cheese steak, pizza pretzels, and most other corner store needs. 95%of the staff is absolutely amazing. I've only had an issue with 1 person there on 3 occasions(out of maybe 500 trips there) and it wasn't a personal issue, just a matter of a woman smoking 2x while too close to the food, inside the store, and 1 other time when she was talking about a some pretty gross subject to another worker,(not much grosses me out, but this absolutely did) which made me cancel my order. She normally works (worked) early AM. Not sure if she is even still employed, but I usually go after lunch these days.“
