“My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here on 11/6/2024. From beginning to end, it was the simplest process. We couldn't of choose a better place to begin the celebration of our marriage. We had a party of 38 people so they had us set up in the main dinning room and there was more than enough room. They set up a buffet style in the middle of Caesar salads, chicken parm, a variety of pizza and apps. The food was absolutely delicious!! Pizza wheel is BYOB, so they set up a table for us and set up our wine & beer selections I dropped off earlier in the day. Everything was beautiful! Melissa took the best care of us! We can not thank her, and the rest of the staff at Pizza Wheel enough for any amazing night! We can't wait to go back for a date night!“

“We loved the delicious pizza! My favorite is the funghi. My boyfriend loved the hot honey pepperoni. The little pepperoni and the whipped ricotta were perfect on that pizza. And I loved that there was lots of fresh basil. The cheesesteak was good. We love a seeded roll and well seasoned ribeye. However, the one drawback for me is that they don't have long hot peppers! Verona is still an excellent spot. If I absolutely need a long hot pepper cheesesteak, I'll go to Del Rossi's in Philly. The staff at Verona were super friendly and nice and patient with us while we figured out what we wanted. We will definitely be back! Thank you“

“Uptown vibes vegan pizza was good,
The crust was square deep dish chicago style, very good sauce. tons of cheese didn’t really taste the kale nevertheless, spot on! little on the expensive side.
Thai cauliflower wings , perfectly done, tender on the inside crispy tempura batter on the outside very good sauce
Spicy crab fries need work no crab flavor, kale was there but lacking flavor, plenty of cheese on fries, cheese was cold and the fries were little bit dry and cold.
The Fries are overpriced, thicker cut fries would be better.
The blueberry lemonade and a cucumber, mint lemonade a perfect combo with the pizza
This is a very nice place for takeout. The decor is right on with the whole mission. I read a chapter of the book while I was there Muhammad is inspiring.
I think it’s admirable the way they give back to the community. Hope that they will get some sit down seating in the future currently it has barstool and counter seating, would love to see some outdoor seating. Overall a nice experience, reason for four star atmosphere was a little bit loud hard to talk to my friend.
And as far as the food goes a little bit pricey overall, that’s just a personal opinion if it works for them that’s all that matters definitely will be back.“

I ate way too much but it was worth it. I would highly recommend it as a delicious and unique experience well worth eating way too much!!! “I’ve been coming here since 1964 and it’s still just as good! Hands down- best pizza in Philadelphia! The brothers/brothers in law have retired, but one of the sons is carrying the legacy forward. All they sell is pizza and soda, and only beef and beef pepperoni toppings. It’s no frills, but worth the ride I make every so often from Chestnut Hill. I only wished they took credit cards and stayed open later, but I understand. If you’re a pizza snob like me, do yourself a favor and try King of Pizza?“

The pizza is perfectly balanced, the wings are 10/10, the mini pizzas are delicious and thick, the meatballs- you HAVE TO try the meatballs. The subs are also stuffed to the brim on fresh bread. The delivery is also always fast and the guys that deliver are super nice. The owner is a great guy. Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫“

“Margherita pizza was great! Really liked the sauce and will get it again. It's New Haven style so it's thinner and has more char and less oily. From reading some of the other reviews I'm not sure people realize how charred and crispy New Haven style pizza typically is. This was actually less rigid than a Sally's/Pepes pizza from New Haven which have super stiff thin crust almost like a pizza dough cracker. This was still thin crust but a bit more substantial like a typical pizza and not extremely crisp/rigid, maybe to help appeal to the masses more. Phoned in a take out order and it was ready on time.
