“I’m from Maryland and I visited JT for the first time this past weekend. I can’t express enough how wonderful the entire town is. But Wild Elder was the most welcoming and cozy establishment. I highly suggest the Elderflower Cider or mulled Elderberry wine. I had their BLT and broccoli slaw and it paired perfect! I can’t wait to come back again!”

“What an amazing discovery for anyone with food sensitivities and allergies! Our meals were exceptional. The drinks top notch. The staff amazing(shout out especially to Holly and her handcrafted shrubs!) The only reason I was willing to leave Jim Thorpe was because I had a loaf of wonderful to take home and toast for breakfast Monday morning. Looking forward to our next visit to town even more now!”

“Just got back from another wonderful dining experience at Domnali’s. We always enjoy eating there when we come up to the mountains. Tonight I ordered the chef salad and it was delicious. My husband had the salmon. The dinner rolls with the seasoning and oil is a great way to start the meal. It was a great evening to eat on their outside patio. Every meal we’ve had here has been great. Makes it hard to know what to order!! Thank you for having such a great establishment for lunch/dinner!”

Not only accommodating to what i wanted but also gave me pointers of things to see and do in the area. I will be back and hopefully she will be the person serving me again”

“My boyfriend & I stopped by today & we had an amazing experience. We were visiting from out of town & Abby the bartender was so cool. We were introduced to the orange cosmopolitan that was delicious! Then she made me a hot apple cider with fireball with a cinnamon stick! It was so good... Just what I needed to warm up ... Great place! Great atmosphere!!”

“We stopped in here after a hike, and it was the perfect choice! The pizza slices were huge and very generous—definitely great value for the price. The pizza itself was delicious, and the service was quick even though the place was absolutely packed at lunchtime (always a good sign of how popular it is).

The atmosphere was lively, and we had a great time relaxing and refueling before heading back to our hotel. All in all, it was a fantastic stop and one I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area.”

“Great spot, with a huge all-weather deck; we had to eat on the sidewalk at one of 3 tables because we had the dog with us. A hot day in March brought ALL the people out so it was busy as heck at 3:00 pm. The big pluses were meeting the owners which were so amazingly friendly, and our server was sweet as apple pie. Good solid pub/bar food and a fun atmosphere. Cozy little bar. Fish & chips and Reuben were very nice.”

“To be honest, their cooking is delicious the service is straightforward and kind. Also, the atmosphere is very homey with nice art, a fire place and comfortable seating. The prices are reasonable too! I got the chicken on a stick and the chicken is sooooo tender, juicy and is so easy to eat. The seasoning is delicious! I highly recommend this place to get great food.”

From cookies and baked goods to savory quiche, there’s plenty to nibble on—but the real magic is in the specialty lattes (think butterbeer vibes in a mug 🧙‍♂️☕️). The drinks themselves are pretty average, but the whimsical, wizarding atmosphere makes this spot absolutely worth a visit. Mischief managed. 🪄

Tip - get here early as it’s a popular spot with both tourists and locals. Lines can be long and takes a minute to get your order ready but definitely worth the wait.”
