“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.”

“I have had food both eat in and take out. I have had amazing experiences each time. The hummus and pita are out of this world. I usually get a med bowl and have changed the protein each time, and each time it was incredible. Tonight I got the meatballs as my protein not knowing what to expect. Amazing doesn’t describe it. Char on the outside and fall apart meat in the middle with incredible flavor. With the rice, feta, red onions, tzatziki, all mixed - omg. I had to make myself stop so I could finish it tomorrow and ordered hummus and pita for tomorrow. The oregano seasoning makes it! Cheers!”

“I sent an email to Lola a week before my wife’s 30th birthday and gave her some instagram pictures with how I wanted the cake to look. She made a cake that looked much better than what I sent and it was baked to perfection. While I was in the shop I picked up some of her beignets and they were just as good if not better than the cake. You will not be disappointed by this bakery and I will get every cake for my family from her.”

But their flavor board is Huge for this small neighborhood shop and changes from time to time. You can't pick wrong. There is reason that there is almost always a line and the staff is always very friendly.”

“I have enjoyed many products from Taste of Puebla over the years as they come to my local farmers market. Recently I tried 2 new products - the jalapeño poppers and the queso. Both are quite tasty. The poppers fried up well and are full of flavor. The queso is creamy and not too salty. it's great as a dip or on nachos. I highly recommend both!”

After we became engaged, we just knew that Longwood was the right fit for us. We didn’t even consider other venues. I have been going to Longwood on average twice a year my entire life, and I introduced my now-husband to the gardens while we were dating. My Mom grew up in Chadds Ford, 2 miles from Longwood. The staff really took care of us from beginning to end - from behind the scenes with Miles, Brad, and Miriam, to the incredible florist Steven (who was previously head florist of the Biltmore conservatory), to the expert culinary team. The venue: the decor, food, flowers, lighting - everything was so elegant and beautiful. Longwood will work with you to stay on budget as well. For example, when deciding whether or not to go with the medium or large floral centerpieces at the dining tables, Steven said “I personally like the medium-size the best. It’s more intimate that way.” I just can’t say enough of how wonderful our reception was.”

“This is a fantastic bakery. The staff is friendly. There is a wide variety of delicious pastries. Going there is a very enjoyable experience. I am going to having lunch there too. I saw a few of their dishes yesterday and they looked delicious as well.”

“Great little mom-and-pop restaurant with a warm, neighborhood feel. They recently expanded the space, and it shows—from the additional tables to the dedicated area for larger parties, the layout now feels much more accommodating. There are cozy booths for smaller groups and a well-organized pickup counter that keeps takeout traffic moving smoothly. It’s BYOB, but they offer a solid selection of espresso drinks, soft drinks, and teas to round things out.

We started with the mozzarella sticks, which were crisp on the outside with a nice, stretchy pull—simple but well executed. The chicken parm was a standout: tender cutlet, well-seasoned sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. The penne vodka was comforting and rich without feeling overly heavy, and the bread they serve is the kind you keep reaching for without thinking. The only miss for us was the tortellini; the flavor profile was a bit off and didn’t quite come together the way the other dishes did. Overall, the prices were reasonable and we’d definitely go back!”

The evening of the event went without any issues.The only change is I would have brought some zip locks for the kids to be able to take the extra cookies and brownies home as a sweet treat that was delicious. That is on me, not them. Wonderful place to have an event that you do not have to worry about anything on that night. They were extremely attentive and flexible the entire evening. “The staff at this Wendy's were being unfairly harrassed by an an unstable white male as I went through the drive thru tonight. He banged on the doors and yelled through them at the employees, then I saw him walk away back to his car and pick up a rock on the way. He then drove up behind me in thr drive thru and yelled at them through the speaker, pulled out of the drive thru and parked behind the restaurant just waiting. When I pulled to the window, I told the staff what I saw. The shift manager said that he was there all the time and always treated them like this. She said they have reported him in the past but the local police say they can't do anything. The staff at this restaurant were friendly, prompt, and delivered exactly what I ordered. They remained calm and collected while there was an active threat even knowing no one else was coming to help them. I am amazed at how much these folk had to handle while the majority of the staff looked to still be teenagers. No one should have to work in these conditions. If Wendy's is smart, they (or the franchise owner) will look into this situation and give a raise to everyone there.”
