“TL:DR - Delicious food, awesome folks, family business!Had been meaning to try this place out stopping in briefly last month to check out the menu, but not ordering anything. Sure glad I came back! The food is delicious, and prepared with love by Ali and his family. The menu has a wide variety of Mediterranean food, so you can get everything you'd like! They also do custom requests (and catering!) if you'd like something specially prepared for you.First and foremost, the "famous" pumpkin bread pudding was absolutely amazing. Fortunately they serve it all year round! It was great cold, warmed up, and from the fridge the next day. The savory pumpkin and just-right-amount of spices pair perfectly with the rich, sweet bread pudding. Do not miss out on this one! And eat dessert first!At my sis' recommendation, I tried the stuffed grape leaf wrap - and it was delicious. It had all the things a tiny stuffed grape leaf would have in it, with extra tasty ingredients, in the convenience and size of a full wrap! There is a reason that we ordered three of them, and they were gone in a blink!The moussaka was a little light on the bechamel layer, but otherwise wonderful. The ground meat, sauce, and cheese were great with the layers of eggplant. Slightly different than the traditional Greek style I'm used to, but definitely tasty.The cold eggplant and tomato salad is a terrific side for any food from Caspian Grille. It's perfectly pickled, freshly made, and you can get as large a size to fit your hunger. An interesting new taste that I will get again next time.All in all, go here, and try out these delicious foods!

“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We concluded with a Turkey tea…it amazingly taste good. Will definitely visit this place again….to Elif,thank you very much.“

“Waiter was great....humus ...great variety and absolutely delicious....I had the lamb dish and it was good...pulled lamb....my niece had chicken and my sister said it was quite succulent.Dhe had a fish dish that she ate completely and like. Price was great we had a flourless chocolate cake that we all shared and did not finish. It was quite rich. Good experience..we got there right after opening but it filled up quickly. It's worth a try.

“The portion size is understated in the pictures. Eating here is not eating food trucks, as you're experiencing his personal style and inspiration and what he feels makes the food work. This was an experience of flavors, sweet grilled figs bursting with juice counteracting char grilled chicken on top of simple noodles. These make you feel like you're enjoying a time by the sea in Greece.“

“We have been searching for a local Mediterranean place and let me tell you, we have FOUND it! We ordered a lot to really get a feel for it: The mini sampler (comes with falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, and dolmas) Mixed kebabs (chicken, kafta, lamb) Chicken shawarma Baklava Genuinely nothing was bad. The mixed kebabs were grilled to perfection, all entrees come with delicious yellow rice, a slice of pita with hummus on it, and a salad. And the mini sampler is the best! You get a little bit of everything. All tasty. Whether you like eating everything separately, or mixing it all together, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here. I also got baklava and it sometimes isn’t my favorite because some places put extra honey, but I’m not kidding when this was the BEST baklava I’ve ever had. And it was my fiancé’s first time trying baklava and he mentioned it might now be a top 10 dessert for him! The owner and workers are so kind too! We will definitely be back.“

“My husband picked up 5 quarter j*** chicken with two sides today. The food smelled amazing when he walked in so I knew it was on when we broke our fast. And it was! Absolutely delicious!! “Loved our brunch today. We stumbled on this place while visiting Philly. Was intrigued by all the Zagat stickers and went inside. Sampled the weekend brunch menu, Moroccan eggs, crab benedict, French toast and the spinach quiche. All dishes were delicious. But, since I had never had Moroccan eggs before, was very excited about trying that and so enjoyed the spice combo. Also really enjoyed the Moroccan tea. Lovely neighborhood bistro. “I was visiting Villanova and a good friend brought me to Nova Grill. The owner was over the top nice and accommodating. His Greek Hospitality did shine. Instantly felt like a regular. The place was spotless and well set up. All cleanliness and proper measure were followed perfectly. The food was plentiful, cooked and presented well and hot ( often forgot these days). The Locaniko ( Loukaniko) was spot on in flavor. I will most definitely stop in again when in the area. Highly recommended.“

I believe they might have received a new manager and for that reason, I will give 5 stars for service. When my online order didn't go to the kitchen, I received a voucher for a free bowl. “Got the falafel naya bowl and it came exactly as expected! Not the best in the city, but they're satisfyingly seasoned and even if there is a line, they work through it very quickly. If I'm in the area and need lunch in a rush, Naya's falafel or chicken bowl are never off the table, haha.The reason to go to Naya is that it's FAST and the food isn't super heavy. I feel energized after a lunch here VS ready for a nap. Perfect location for all the offices down there so you see a lot of corpos grabbing lunch.Food is a little saltier than what I make at home, but the variety of toppings are all fresh and they balance the portions pretty well!

We even made the occasional pilgrimage there once we lived in separate places around Philly.Majit (and later Salman) always whipped up the freshest food, had a smile on their face, and were glad to talk with us. Salt of the earth.If you like Halal you owe it to yourself to get in front of the Fishtown Planet Fitness and order a lamb/falafel combo platter with your sauces of choice.“

“It's inside the Reading Terminal Market. Eat in or take away. There were several stools when I chose them for lunch, from all the options there. They have chicken, and lamb/beef combo roasting in front of you, they cut your sandwich from. Fresh tomato and onion bits inside a Pita. There is a white sauce, which I didn't have. Sandwich can come with fries and coke for under $15. I got a smaller portion of fries. All fresh and tasty. service was attentive and speedy. Very pleased with my visit.“
