“I’ve been coming here for around 3 years now and it’s always been consistently great. I’ve tried so many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The staff feel like family and are so welcoming and kind. Everything is always fresh and so flavorful. Some stand out favorites of mine are any of the curry ramens (especially the chicken katsu one), the super tender char siu, and the tantanmen. Oh and don’t forget to ask for some of their house made chili oil if you like spice 😊“

“My first ramen of the year and it was a yummy one for a snowy day. We didnt have to wait for a table even though we arrived an hour before closing. They have lots of options to pick from but I went with a classic Tonkatsu ramen with pork and a Ramune Melon drink on the side. The broth and noodles were nice but the pork was a little dry.
I would love to go back and try some of their sushi as well“

“A hidden gem. Great for lunch or dinner. The menu is vast and the charsiu is just wonderful. "Special orders don't upset us. All we ask is that you let us serve it your way."“

“Kyuramen Philadelphia serves up a cozy, modern ramen experience that’s both Instagram-worthy and satisfying. The broth is rich and flavorful, especially in their signature tonkotsu ramen, and the noodles have a great texture. Their menu goes beyond ramen with tasty appetizers like bao buns and omurice, which add variety to the meal. The atmosphere is intimate, with private booth seating that makes it a fun spot for dates or small groups. While it can get busy during peak hours, the quality of the food and overall vibe make it well worth the wait.“

“I am grateful to have a non-chain ramen spot nearby. Best experienced in person over takeout always. I hope for the best for the local owners. Would be amazing if they considered added salmon donburi or fresh yakitori to their menu. It would turn this place into a happy hour spot in no time.“

“This is a really great cheap-ish spot for a meal. We got two bowls of ramen, four spicy chicken wings, and two orders of mochi for less than $40. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The round chashu was slightly superior to the chashu pork shoulder. Highly recommend ending the meal with a little serving of mochi. It was the perfect treat after the warmth and strong flavors of dinner. We went around 8PM. It was busy but not packed. YOU SHOULD GO HERE!“

“Just visiting Philly for the weekend and stopped by to try this place, as it was on my way to the subway. Had the vegetable bao and it was AMAZING! I don’t know how or why it was so good but it was and I felt compelled to leave a review. We were the only ones in there and it took a few minutes for them to make the bao but it was totally worth it!“

“Ordered takeout and the portions are very generous and food was delicious! They even put in some extra and could tell they packed the bag with thought and care with the handwritten note. My go to Asian takeout spot for both sushi and Chinese in Havertown“

“A lowkey spot but great food and very clean. We so happened to stumble upon it and we were genuinely pleased from the 1st bite. We over heard someone picking up take out say that it was the best sushi he’s had and it was true. The price was great too. One plate of fried rice was enough to satisfy 2 people and then had about 18 pieces of sushi in total. Once finished, it didn’t make you feel sluggish and gross after eating. Great to see an owner who truly cares about their craft and customers. We’ll be back!“

“Amazing restaurant with great sushi and some of the BEST RAMEN not just in the area, but in South East PA. I crave it at least 2-3 times a week and the sushi options are amazing and the fish is always top notch, fresh and cut perfectly. I love this place.“

“Honestly amazing food. I got takoyaki and tonkatsu ramen, both of which were amazing. The takoyaki were obviously freshly made, and tasted delicious, and the ramen was flavorful and rich. I got chashu pork in my ramen and my only regret is not ordering extra meat, because it was so tender and flavorful. It was all very reasonably priced, especially considering how massive the portion of ramen was. My entire meal came out to around $20.“

“Eaten in and gotten take out from here many times, about once a month or so. Quality is consistent and dependable. The restaurant is often fairly busy, reservations are recommended but it's possible to get a table without them. One of the best restaurants in the area for sure.
There are so many excellent menu options, it's hard to make a bad choice.“

Huge plus here—I was able to walk right in and get a table. Perfect for a quick stop while running errands on City Ave without needing to plan ahead.

The space is intimate and not very big, which actually works in its favor. It’s cozy, calm, and a great spot to sit down, reset, and enjoy a good meal without the chaos of a larger restaurant.

None to note. Just keep in mind it’s a smaller space, so it’s more of a cozy dine-in experience than a big group hangout.

“I’ve been here 2x and the cashier is literally the best he’s so friendly. The service is great they clear the tables off and get your food quickly 💞💞😇
I just wish they had more seating. It gets super crowded and the store is kinda small. But when it’s not crowded, it’s really nice. There’s lots of food to pick from and you get fair portions for what you pay“

“Met a female Friend of mine. I can’t remember what she ordered. She was a little embarrassing in her inter-action with the Owner’s daughter who is a real sweetheart. I know a tiny bit of Chinese from a Chinese girlfriend 6 years ago. Knowing that I broke the ice last time I was here probably 4 months earlier. I ordered Spring Rolls which were fresh and delicious. I asked a couple who sitting down for a meal what they were having and they said the Shrimp Lo Mein and it was very good. This time I ordered it and was very good, outstanding actually.. if I could rate this 1-100 I would give this place a 93 which in my playbook very high. When I go to place twice and want to come back Again that’s a Solid Gold Winner. These are nice people and it clean and the prices on the menu with the quality is a combination you can’t beat“

“Went here for the first time to try it out I have seen negative reviews but still giving it a chance. I think I could had gotten to another sign seat instead I was sitting 3-4 feet’s away from an I am not too sure homeless old man? I just felt abit overwhelmed just trying to finish the food and get going. The food taste great and amazing. The only issues are a sign seat.“
