“Great little mom-and-pop restaurant with a warm, neighborhood feel. They recently expanded the space, and it shows—from the additional tables to the dedicated area for larger parties, the layout now feels much more accommodating. There are cozy booths for smaller groups and a well-organized pickup counter that keeps takeout traffic moving smoothly. It’s BYOB, but they offer a solid selection of espresso drinks, soft drinks, and teas to round things out.

We started with the mozzarella sticks, which were crisp on the outside with a nice, stretchy pull—simple but well executed. The chicken parm was a standout: tender cutlet, well-seasoned sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. The penne vodka was comforting and rich without feeling overly heavy, and the bread they serve is the kind you keep reaching for without thinking. The only miss for us was the tortellini; the flavor profile was a bit off and didn’t quite come together the way the other dishes did. Overall, the prices were reasonable and we’d definitely go back!“

“The manager was extremely kind and helpful. We arrived very late and the kitchen was closed but he offered us a few pizza options and we were more than grateful!! We were missing Fortuna and Giuseppe for the past six months but finally tonight we had the pleasure to see them at the restaurant. Everyone should come here and enjoy their delicious food. “Tony's is a local Italian restaurant in Newark along Chestnut Hill Road (DE 4) in a shopping plaza anchored by the local Shoprite. The dining area is basic, mostly what you'd expect from a local restaurant. However, the decor could use a little bit of an update and then it'd be just right.
The menu features what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant in the orbit of Philadelphia - pizzas, pastas, strombolis, etc. and have a great variety of different pizzas. For my meal, I went with a vegetarian pizza (spinach, tomato and ricotta cheese) and an order of garlic bread. The pizza itself was pretty tasty and the ricotta made a good contrast to the mozzarella on the pie itself and the vegetables were generally nice and fresh. The crust was also pretty decent as it could hold the slice and had just enough crisp for a good thin-crust pizza. The miss for me was the garlic bread. I don't know if it was the preparation for my particular order, but my bread had some minced garlic topping the butter on the bread rather than well-dispersed in the butter. I love garlic but trying to eat those pieces of minced garlic wasn't for me as it was bitter. I would like to see them better incorporate the garlic into the bread as that might help the read out. The garlic aside, the bread was nicely baked and had the butter and garlic been better spread I would have really enjoyed it.
The service was decent as well. I didn't have to wait too long for a refill and the server made sure I was take care of at my table.
Overall, it's a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant for those local to Newark and you'll at least get an enjoyable meal if you visit here.“

“This place really is something special. Not only do they have the best vegetable stromboli I've ever had, they're also one of the friendliest and most welcoming restaurants I've ever eaten in.
The atmosphere is very old school pizza spot, which is hard to find now days. They always seem to be doing something for the community every time we visit, right now it's a Christmas toy drive which is awesome. We need more places like this everywhere.
If you haven't been yet, I definitely suggest going to Brothers, get a boli! I'll be returning soon so I'll included photos next time.“

“I give them a five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. I always knew this little shop was tucked in this shopping plaza but I never ever tried. Well let me just say I was missing out. I’ve now tried several different items and different pizzas and all of them have been delicious. You gotta try the BBQ beef cheesesteak (add extra meat and extra cheese) and BBQ chicken pizza. Wow 👍👍. I can tell they get slammed with takeout and delivery orders. Great staff. They’re my new go to.“

“We ordered a cheese pizza with half roasted peppers . We also ordered fries . The food came out hot . The pizza was delicious and the peppers were cooked very nicely . The waitress was kind and very down to earth . We will eat there again“

“I really don’t do Google reviews, but I had to in this case. This may be the best pizza I’ve ever put in my mouth. The crust on mine was thin and crisped to perfection. Not sure of their secret, but whatever they do is SPECIAL. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese, fresh mushrooms, excellent pepperoni. . . Best of all, this was not what my husband and I were expecting AT ALL. We were driving home to NJ after a long day on the road, wanted to stop and eat without doing fast food, but without spending a fortune, so we settled on Bravo Pizza. And it turned out to be a real treat for both of us. I mean, we savored this meal—just kept saying to each other, “This is unusually good, right??” Really wishing we didn’t have to wait for another PA trip to grab a slice!!“

To be fair, it was end of night, regardless these should have been $1 slices on principle. Real Mozz Sticks, if you have read 1 of my many reviews this is a +. Marinara was tasty & had some seasoning. Cheeseburger Sub was heavy, toasted which was fine but the lettuce was ehhhh… The hot items were piping hot!!! The food was done in under 10 mins, the counter guy was good & … this is the first pizza place that gave me napkins. The little things count!!!“

“We haven’t been to Seasons in a while. I called to place our take out order and was greeted by a very nice young woman. When I went to pick up the food, I only waited about 5 minutes (if that) and I was a little early. The same person who answered the phone greeted me at the register. She was so nice and very accommodating. We ordered three strombolis and a kids pizza. The strombolis were absolute perfection. Probably the best we have ever had! “I ordered a build your own stromboli with 1 ingredient wrong and was mad at myself for forgetting the ingredient and settled for what I was getting. “Management is the issue at this location. Three issues. They don't honor their military discount consistently. I have the receipt to prove that they applied the military discount to the desserts on our bill at the end of April (attached). A month later, they tried to not honor the military discount on the desserts. I had to request multiple times that they honor it to get them to do the right thing in the end with too much effort needed on my part. Bill charges don't match the menu. I noticed that their billing system didn't match their new menu on my end of April visit. I in fact confirmed that I was provided the new menu for the record to be sure that I wasn't looking at an older version of the menu. The server, Nina, was great to help me get it resolved at least for that April visit. I was able to get management to modify the prices of the desserts on our bill for this April visit. The bigger issue though is that they had a full month until our next visit to have their billing system match the new menu prices. You can't make this stuff up! They in fact didn't make the necessary changes in their billing system confirmed via interaction with their staff. Our server confirmed that the billing system wasn't modified to match the menu at least with regards to the desserts that we ordered. Both servers further confirmed that manual changes needed to be made to get our bill to reflect the right charges for our desserts. A very disrespectful assumption was made by management when she stated the following to me ... something like I can't believe people come out to restaurants without the ability to pay their bill. That was in fact the gist of her statement to me as I'm paraphrasing but know what she meant. That was not the case for my scenario and a very disrespectful thing to say to any customer. I happen to have an 830 credit score per one of the credit bureaus for good reason. I'm only indicating this not to brag but to defend my reputation for such an inappropriate statement made to me. I consistently pay my obligations and on time. They made that statement to the wrong customer as they've earned this detailed negative review. I simply told them that I would only pay the amount of the bill that we in fact legitimately owed. She didn't like that in this case. My opinion is that she automatically assumed that my request for them to honor the military discount that they state that they offer and should honor as promised was taken as if I didn't have the money to pay my bill. I also legitimately contested their up charge for the french fries that I was offered as a choice with my Italian sub lunch special item. Their lunch special menu sheet indicates at the bottom, "Extra Charges for Additions". While in fairness to the restaurant, menu item #8 for the sub lunch special indicates with chips and doesn't indicate with chips or fries, they need to do better by making it more clear as I didn't have an addition to my order since I wasn't delivered the chips with this particular meal. I was provided the fries instead of the chips. If they want to charge more for certain substitutions (if they even want to offer substitutions), they then need to make it clear on the lunch special menu what that up charge is in those cases. That's their choice whether to offer substitutions. If they're not going to allow for substitutions, they need to indicate that in writing on their lunch special menu as well. In the end, they did credit my bill for my May visit with a dollar amount acceptable which seemed to include the up charge being waived for my lunch special. The main issue is that it took far too much effort to get them to do the right thing. They have lost my business forever. I did in fact offer to pay the up charge for the sub lunch special item shortly before being provided my updated bill. I did this to give them the benefit of the doubt being a fair minded guy due to their #8 sub menu item only listing chips and not chips or frie“

“The bar can take over the restaurant making things loud and less than family friendly at times. Great food, friendly service. I almost always get the cheese pizza. In some ways, it is the taste of the beach for me. Takes me back to the days when they were only in Rehoboth.“
