“UPDATE - They have changed the cheesesteak roll supplier and it makes a big difference so I upgraded to 4 stars! (Previous) Sad to say that after decades of great food that the cheesesteak has recently taken a downturn, most likely due to the new rolls being used.“

“We were visiting from Virginia and went in to grab a cheesesteak! Seriously the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had! Will for sure return when we come back! My son got a burger said it’s the best he’s ever had! Though he’s 9 so! But seriously the portion and the cheesesteak itself was delicious!“

“The employees were super friendly! The food choices have many options and it seems to mainly be made right there in the restaurant. The perogies weren’t just bought from a warehouse & they were really good! This place has more than wings! I’m regretting not getting more cheesesteak eggrolls because they were so good too. I also got a smoothie (even tho it’s 10 degrees out, I still had to try) and it was great! They must use real fruit because it’s not extra sweet or artificial whatsoever but still worth it!! The building is small with only 2- 4 seat table and a small one with 2 seats. I’m assuming not many people eat here & it’s mainly a take-out restaurant. Regardless, definitely worth trying! Everything was really good 👌🏻 Will eat here again!!! 🫶🏻“

“One of the very best steak sandwiches I’ve ever had! Nice people, super food. The Go Birds sandwich was also spectacular. Eating in is a bit spare and noisy - but the food is so good it’s well worth the stop! EXCELLENT!“

“This place is amazing, from the atmosphere of die hard Eagles fans to the nicest bartenders around. Really enjoyed the location and the fact that it had tvs all around the downstairs for different games. The food was amazing, first Philly Cheese Steak and it was really good, and well worth the price“

“Ambler Pizza has the best food and customer service. When you come in, everyone has a smile and all are friendly. They actually have their own delivery cars, so you don't get skewered by higher prices, service fees and other add- ons. It's a nice family-owned business.“

Tony himself made the advance ordering process easy and had the order all ready ahead of time and as requested. “Moved here in the spring, and Apollo has quickly become my go-to spot. The burgers are great, waffle fries are incredible, and the large pizza deal is honestly hard to beat. The staff and manager have consistently been friendly and professional.

The only issue worth mentioning is the website. Over the past few months, I’ve had repeated problems with online ordering—specifically the site saying my card is invalid even though it’s the only card I use. When calling the store instead, there doesn’t seem to be a way to apply loyalty rewards.

To be clear, this is not a reflection on the in-store employees—they’ve been great and have no control over the website. This seems like a third-party issue that could use attention.

Five stars for the food, staff, and management. I just hope the website can be improved or loyalty rewards made usable for phone orders as well.
