“I haven't been in a few years..but the service was great just as I remembered. I love the mom and pop feel and my breakfast platter was delicious.

Parking: There are meters but I placed my order and sat in my car until my order was ready.“

“At first looks the place is a little plain and empty. A few out of service drink coolers , a single rack with chips and cookies, and 2 PA skill machines (which I played while I waited for my food). But the place is very clean and you have an open view of the kitchen which I always appreciate as a customer. Prices were reasonable and the food preparation and presentation were notably good. Never judge a book by its cover. This place serves amazing breakfast and I will be back to try the lunch for sure.“

“Today I stopped at The Hungry A. I have driven buy there many times. As I walked in the owners and people in there all greeted me like they know me. I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. If every would take the time to be kind to someone just once maybe it could be a start to make this world just a little better“

“I went to The Coffee Station again for breakfast on Sunday and had a great experience. The food was good, but what really stood out was our waitress, Denise. She’s like an old-time waitress in the best way—friendly, attentive, and she makes you feel truly appreciated. She goes above and beyond and makes the whole place feel like home. “I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. The portions were generous and the coffee was great. Thirteen bucks for all that. Perfect. I'll be back.“

“Update #1 Hopefully you all read my previous review. Great spot for breakfast! So this time I thought I'd try something from their lunch menu. I had to try a Philly must. A Philly classic. A Philly staple. The cheese steak. Everyone complains about portions nowadays where you go. That's just the world we live in today, but the portion of fries, which by the way were some of the best fries I've EVER had! It taste so fresh. Hot, golden and the crispiness was on point! The cheese steak had the right amount of meat, cheese, onions and seasoning to bread ratio! Chef's kiss! The bread was toasted on the inside that had that crunch goodness to it. Come here for their breakfast! Then come back later for their lunch! You won't be disappointed! Shout out to the hostess! She was amazing! Very polite and professional!

I had issues with some of my Canadian cards not working to pay and I felt bad causing a bother during busy breakfast hours. However the people running this place are very friendly and it's just a pleasant place to eat.“

“Found this place about a month ago, and realized it is my local walk to spot! And they've been around for over 30 years! Could not be happier! Been there twice so far, quick and friendly service. The food, simply amazing! I like grits, but often they're either too runny or too thick...finding those perfect goldilock grits is difficult... Train stops grits are just right! I used to go here more regularly but since I've adhered to my culture/religion more, I avoided places that served pork. Today under certain circumstances I ordered from them but I really wished they at least had some halal breakfast meats. Considering the demographic changes in the neighborhood, a no pork policy would definitely benefit their business. The local mosque would also promote it to their 5k+ local adherents.
