“I recently stopped by Wake & Bake Cafe and had such a good experience. I ordered the cinnamon spiced latte and a chocolate chip cookie, and both were done really well. The latte had the perfect balance just the right amount of cinnamon, enough sweetness without being overpowering, and the foam on top was especially smooth and well-crafted. You can tell care went into it. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and warm, especially in the center, with that slight saltiness that really brings out the flavor. It’s one of those simple items that’s easy to overlook, but this one stood out. The atmosphere is a big part of what makes this place memorable. It has a creative, artsy feel with subtle 90s nostalgia things like vintage cameras and decor that give it personality without feeling overdone. One thing I appreciated right away was the bathroom location it’s right at the front when you walk in, which is super convenient. Location-wise, it’s right across from the State Capitol, making it easy to find. There’s street parking, but it was still convenient and didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, it’s a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for a cozy place with strong drinks, good treats, and a unique vibe.“

“They have maitake mushrooms and other uncommon produce, all of which is high quality. Like any grocery store they don't have 100% of what you're looking for so we still need to run around but we like to stop here for select items bc we've found them nowhere else. Always a fun time. You'll probably leave with something you didn't expect to buy“

“I do maintenance for different Sam's Clubs all over, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, New York, and Delaware and this is by far the nicest, well kept, friendliest one i have had the pleasure of visiting. You can tell that you take pride in how your store looks and there was a special pride in your employees. From the Manager to the cart guy, everyone was so polite and respectful.“

“Had a nice light dinner at Cafe Fresco in downtown Harrisburg. It's a cool spot with a good vibe. The staff and our waitress were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The appetizers were a highlight, really delicious, and the pizza was solid too, though not quite as memorable as the starters. Overall a great spot for a relaxed dinner.“

“This place wasn't what we expected, but we stayed and we're glad we did. The breakfast was good and the price was right. The only thing that gave it 3 stars for atmosphere was of no fault of the owner. It was this guy and teenager being loud and cussing.“
“I had a nice time in Queenies, but unfortunately I can't frequent there bcuz I am a heart patient and there was a couple chain smoking I couldn't breath I had triple bypass heart surgery in November 2023 bcuz I was Harrisburg's highest paid barmaid back in the day when fab's Earnestine porters bars were open I bartended for 13 1/2 years and the second hand cigarette smoke is what gave me my triple bypass heart surgery, and since I had my surgery and I NEVER SMOKED CIGARETTES! ( I only smoked weed) But after my surgery I vowed to never smoke or be around second hand smoke ever again I'm goin to be gud to my heart, so even tho I had fun while there I can't go back, due to the cigarette smoke...sry queenies 🤗 I take my life seriously“
